Are you kidding me? Joseph Smith, a prophet of God? NO WAY! Joseph Smith was a FREEMASON AND HE PRACTICED SCRYING! Scrying is when you use a dark reflective surface like obsidian stone, mirrors, orbs, etc, to see visions. Nostradamus did this. Scrying is a form of WITCHCRAFT. That's why Joseph Smith was known to stuff his face in his hat, because that special stone he found gave him his visions from hell only who it was in the dark.

if mormons r seekers of truth..if they really want to serve the Lord..then y would they follow a religiounthat has been proven to b innaccurate? in the book of mormon, there were written that horses were used by the indians.. fact is that horse were not introduced into the u s in the area described in the book of mormon until the explorers arrive WAY AFTER the fact. there or over 6ooo innacuracies that the mormons have tried to change as well. a prophet has to be 100 % correct..they r not.
@skylerbaird i already did BEFORE i made my comment..why dont You look into the timeline of when horses were introduced by the explorers vs the alleged time that the indians in the book of moromon had them..it does not fit!!!! horses were not introduced at the timeof the alleged gold tablets descriptions. this is a lie that the book of moroman has and if you consider a prophet has to be correct 100% of the time then on this one fact the prophet/book of mormon is WRONG!
@dasenuff "The Book of Mormon mentions horses, yet these animals seem not to have been known to native Americans who greeted the Spaniards upon their arrival in the New World in the sixteenth century. Moreover, archaeological evidence for the presence of the horse in the pre-Columbian Americas is presently scant and inconclusive. How can this be explained? Careful consideration of this question begins with an examination of what the Book of Mormon says and does not say about horses." -Maxwell
@skylerbaird nice try..but the book of moromon was revised again and again to try and substantiate its bogus and innacurate claims of indian history. this is why many who have a brain will actually understand that the book of moronmon is a bogus account by somebody who didnt know the facts of history or archeology. i recomend you stick with the bible and becaome a christian ,not a moronmon!
@dasenuff The revisions of the Book of Mormon were mainly reformatting the pages, punctuation, and spelling errors. Remember the men that translated this book did so with little education. How could a man who had little more than a fifth grade education write such a book? It makes no difference how it was written, whether I say it is true or you say it is not. All that matters is what God says. All you need to ask yourself is, if God told me the Book of Mormon was true, what would I do about it?
the book of moroman is NOT truth..truth doesnt change.the book of mormon DID change and was innaccurate NOT becuz of 'punctiation' as your bogusly claiming...but it was major things like the horses and tribed and types of metals and weapons that the indians used etc.. these arent little things or spelling/ puntuation..and you writing those lies is very contrary to the truth of the almighty . defending outright lies f false prophesies. you stand convicted-read ur bible NOT the book of morman!!!
@dasenuff Horses and metals are there but wording, however minor, or a consistent change in the spelling of a name..... The large majority of these textual changes involve minor variation in phraseology. For instance ....the indefinite article 'a' has accidentally been omitted,.... 'a' other changes
in 1 Nephi 12:18 which in the original manuscript read SWORD instead of WORD.
These textual errors have never prevented readers of the book from receiving their own personal witness of its truth.
@skylerbaird im afraid your wrong yet again..theres a BIG difference between etymology /wording and outright historical and archeological inaccuracies.
@dasenuff its funny how you talk about the book of mormon having many errors in it and yet have nothing to say about the bible itself.. i mean can you count how many times it has been translated and passed down? does anyone have the original copy of the bible? there are some surviving texts out there, sure, but how many texts and books has the world lost..or misprinted? you cant fully rely on the bible itself or else youll end up with over 35,000 different Christian churches
@xGoliathOnlinex what really funny is how you would try and discredit the BIBLE and defend the book of lies instead. the greek is what is used to translate the new testament inthe kjv..the version you mormans use.... given your own statemnet..you should be considering the fact that YOUR religion may be bogus..because it IS!
@dasenuff and how did you come to the conclusion that he is a false prophet? how do you tell a real prophet from a false one since youre quite the master at knowing such things?
@so..the bible is wrong..and horses 'evolved there'...as well..history is wrong and cololumbus didnt introduce horses..hmmmmm i guess the book of mormon is STILL a book of the false prophet!
@dasenuff Ha what are you talking about... I never said the bible is wrong. Evolution in the form on natural selection does happen does it not? It is okay though we still love you.
there were at least 6000 to 8000 inaccuracies in the book of mormon dealing with archeological ,geographical other scientific innacuracies as well as the indians. mistakes im sure a fifth grader would have made not knowing what we know as well about history and science. evolution is a theory..not fact.. if your going to beleive in the absolutes of Gods creation and God word..why would you even go to the theory of mislead men and the bogus book of mormon? ur defending the false book o mormon
I totally need to get my husband to watch this. He's not a member and sometimes getting him to understand what I'm telling him about the Church is difficult.
@stayl1971 Please do. How amazing is it to be a part of an organization created by Jesus Christ himself! We need not worry like much of the world about our spiritual and material well being.
I am so pleased that I am an active tithe paying member of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints. I pay my tithes and don't get into debt and follow the instructions and guidance of the Prophet and the other leaders of my church and know without a doubt I am blessed because of this. My job doesn't pay much and its tough work but I work hard and I am always able to pay the bills and have a little left over.
I have been blessed by paying tithing. I have always had enough for my needs and the needs of others, even though I do not make a lot of money, and sometimes do not see how all of the bills are paid. I know that God blesses those who follow the law of the tithe.
bom contradictions: B. of M.- 3 Nephi 30:2 vs D. & C. - Section 42:18, B. of M. - Alma 34:36 vs D. & C. - Section 130:3, B. of M. - 2 Nephi 2:14; Jacob 4:9 Pearl of Great Price - Moses, Chapter 2 vs Book of Abraham - Chapters 4 and 5.
If the book of Mormon is true, why hasn’t a valid geography been established for the book? What kind of chariots did the Nephites have in 90 B.C. some 1500 years before the introduction of the wheel on the Western Hemisphere? If the Book of Mormon contains the fullness of the Gospel, why doesn’t it teach that God was once a man?
@kiwichristian2009 And yet, there isnt 1 shred of evidence that any battle took place, not 1 spear, item of clothing, axe, coin, helmet, bone, corpse etc etc. some battle !!!!! Probably took place on a hilltop with 2 men punching each other LMAO.
@martinh103 True. Plus the DNA evidence that was performed on American Indians which totally and conclusively blows mormonism out of the water makes it difficult to understand how a person can be sucked into this false religion. Acts4:12. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”. The average mormon will not tell you that it will not be Christ judging them at the judgement seat, but smith!
Was it right or wrong for Solomon to have many wives? (See Jacob 2:24; D & C 132:38,39) Which is it? If Gods are individuals who have passed through mortality and have progressed to Godhood, how has one person of the Trinity (the Holy Spirit) attained Godhood without getting a body?
Does anyone notice this fact as I do? If you look at all the uploads by active Mormons.. they have just a few thousand views, and most disable comments, the worst being done by LDS999.
The reason? Who gives a toss about a freak looking into a hat !!!! LOL
@martinh103 Yet, here you are watching my video and taking the time to comment on it :) Yes, you used the time and energy in an attempt to criticize the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I imagine that is simply because you simply needed a self-esteem boost? Typically that is why people use "cut-downs" bc they are insecure. Know that God loves you despite your negativity. In fact, you can start to pray today to get to know Him better, and find peace and joy in your life.
@DefendingMormonism Ok sure I will do just that, but you wont catch me praying to Joseph Smith. I suggest you look up his life story before you reply..
@martinh103 Mormons don't pray to him either you know. We pray only to the one and true living God, our Heavenly Father. Also, we all know this life story.
@JonathonWilder I think you are brainwashed, like ALL Mormons are from birth. Come to Christ, follow Him and Him only. Dont let Jesus ask you if you followed His words, and his words only.. and you say, " I also believed in J Smith ". When J Holland said " we believe in this book " reffering to the BoM, he also will be judged . The robber next to Jesus on the cross believed in Him, Jesus told him he will be in paradise. FAITH saved him, not the Bo M
@DefendingMormonism Know Jesus and what he taught . when you get to heaven ( if you ever do ) , Jesus will ask you..... " did you follow me and only me ". You will say.. " nope, I followed the man who looked into hats and had over 30 wives and or mistresses ". Jesus replies " Didnt I tell you, you can only come to heaven thru me ... take the elevator marked " hell "
@DefendingMormonism i appreciate your defending your beliefs.however, may i point out the innaccuracies of the book of mormom and the fact that a prophet has to be 100 % correct in biblical standard.. i do hope you grow in the faith and your walk with Jesus Christ, however, there are well over 6000 of these 'un truths' in the original book of mormon. im not trying to destroy your faith.im just hoping you realize you can serve christ w/out following mormonism, and the false prophet .
@martinh103 I get a lot of that with catholics that i debate. Just because they dont like a fact, they will mark the comment as spam, or will disable comments, as though they are afraid of something.
That adventurous spirit carried Burr through the challenges of his main task: the Mckay mosaic. Burr recalls that the mosaic was shipped to Hawaii one section at a time, in three separate boxes. The labor missionaries working on the project were forced to move forward in faith without a vision of the final project because, as Burr says with a smile, “The instructions were in the third box.”
A brash, ambitious television station manager from Rapid City, S.D., named William F. Turner, who happened to know some Mormons — and some Kennedys in the White House — played a part. Darleen Merrihew, then a 32-year-old alto, was three months pregnant with her fourth child.
Even though my family has gone through some very hard times, especially lately, I know that by paying tithing we have been able to stay afloat in the stormy sea of this recession. The Church tells us that we must live within our means and be charitable with what we have if we are to be happy. And I promise that that is true.
Elder Clarke said Guatemalan members spent the first Sunday following the disaster outdoors helping their fellow members and neighbors. "That Sunday was not a day of meetings, but a day of ministering."
Also attending the dedicatory services were President Henry B. Eyring, first counselor in the First Presidency; Elder Dallin H. Oaks of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles; Bishop H. David Burton, Presiding Bishop of the Church; and Elder William R. Walker of the Seventy.
The members on Chuuk have a tradition of dressing in all-white on special occasions. Sister Dowdle commented that it was "a truly magnificent sight to see these faithful members, with their beautiful complexions and sparkling eyes, all dressed in white shirts and white dresses for the dedication."
Korean children DaeHyeok Kim and SeYeon Pak, members of the Church, greet Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve and his wife, Katherine, at a train station in Korea. Elder Christofferson's trip took him to sites in Asia and the Pacific.
@kiwichristian2009 He used a hat and stuck his head into it and read a lot of mumbo jumbo. Then some crazy men decided it was true....... there you have it in a nutshell .
The governor and other leaders responded by stating how grateful they are for the principles of self reliance taught to the members of the Church in Chuuk, adding how they welcome and hope to see the Church grow on the island.
Elder D. Todd Christofferson of the Quorum of the Twelve presents to Chuuk Gov. Westley Simina a poster representing a desalination unit donated by the Church. The unit will provide fresh water for residents who now rely on collecting rain water.
There are two Churches; the Church of God and the church of the devil. Those that follow and spread the doctrines of the church of the devil are evil like your "savior" Richard Dawkins.
mormon contradictions! Alma 11:27-39, 44; 2 Nephi 31:21; Mormon 7:7; 3 contradicts Doctrine and Covenants: Section 121:32; 132:18-20, 37. Alma 18:26-28; 22:8-11 contradicts D. & C. - Section 130:22. 2 Nephi 2:14; Jacob 4:9 Pearl of Great Price - Moses, Chapter 2 contradicts Book of Abraham - Chapters 4 and 5. Ether 3:12; 2 Nephi 9:34 contradicts P.G.P. - Book of Abraham 2:22-25. Jacob 4:9; Alma 18:28, 34-36 contradicts D. & C. - Section 93:23, 29-33 P.G.P. - Bk of Abraham 3:18, 21-23.
The Latter-day Saint meetinghouses provide a place where members can renew promises and commitments to God and engage in worship. In addition, the new meetinghouse will serve as a location for other spiritual and social activities for members as well.
“At first the church was only approved for a limited number of floors, and then by some miracle the complete building plan was approved. Having a new building in Jamaica is a dream come true,” he said
I don't spend time with people who will disrespect my God. MORmON and LDS INC just guarantees (if they're writing it to me) a deletion. If they waste my time further, then they're gone. I have no time to spend with people who already think that they know everything because it's written in a book somewhere so it must be true. Their happy medium fall back positions are usually just as pathetic and useless. If they want to debate with me, I'll charge the going rate for my time. (200.00 p/hr)
@dresinss The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is financially stable because it follows the Lord's Law of Tithing - just one of many commandments followed by disciples of Jesus Christ in his Church that indicate its truthfulness.
@DefendingMormonism Like I already asked you: How does that indicate truth? Richard Dawkins is financially stable too, for starters... Does that mean what he believes is true too?
You are saying that: if God says,"If you pay tithing, you we be financially stable." and then you are actually financially stable, that it proves that the whole religion is true? That's a far off stretch.. Kinda like the ol'.. "Well you don't see any bears around here do ya?"
@dresinss No proving here, just promoting. I will say this simpler: The fact that we follow the Lord's Law of Tithing is just one indication (of many) that we are the Lord's church. Being financially stable is simply a result of paying tithing, not an indication of truthfulness.
Like you mentioned, there are many evil people who rich (monetarily).
However, the greatest riches are found in the next life. Those are saved for humble followers of Jesus Christ.
@dougdcutler have you ever wondered why, if they consider the LDS Church so incorrect, it is one of the fastest growing religions in the world? or if it is eventually going to collapse as they claim, why they spend so much of their personal time worrying about it?
No one has done it in 180+ years, but It is the lofty and impossible hope that they will be the one to find the "nail in the coffin" for the LDS Church. The "hero" of the anti-Mormon world finding that nail, without a legitimate source of course.
@dougdcutler "without a legitimate source, of course" and in the MORmON world Ken Verdoia is not a legit source.... & neither is Brigham Young as MORmONS refuse to acknowledge their own founders as the most rabid "anti MORmON" quips are traced back to early MORmON leaders. MORmONS FOREVER!
@dougdcutler oh come on Dougy, stop grumbling about bad sources & pathetic claims long enough to make the actual *brilliant* claim that is the basis for your current grand MORmON victory & reveling. Say it! "Brigham Young never suspended tithing" Its almost as if you are avoiding it. why is that, MORmON genius? BTW MORmONS FOREVER! thats you!
You have nothing to bring to the table for being a novice anti-Mormon who miserably acts like they have a "PhD" in our own history and in our own doctrines.
@dougdcutler of course, you have a PHd in MORmON History! by attending all those LDS meetings, which gives you total MORmON authority to speak. You are not avoiding KUED as source, you just summarily trashed them. Back to my original challenge, & away from your MORmON twist. Go ahead Dougy, say that Brigham Young never suspended tithing! THAT is what you are avoiding!
@dougdcutler OH NO! Dougy, you are on to me now! You have totally undermined all my credibility! How did you know I am actually buddhist chinese who knows nothing about MORmONISM at all, but I just rabidly attack it simply because I am posessed by Satan. You have pinned me down & destroyed me, you SHARPY Dougy. I have to confess, because of your brilliance. I dont even speak English let alone know anything about MORmONISM! YOU GOT ME!
@dougdcutler what dougy? you mean you dont buy the idea that I am a buddhist chinese? I was just trying to play along with your MORmON dictates, after seeing the way you trashed Ken Verdoia to get your MORmON way, there is no way you would believe that I have the very same MORmON credentials as you, that of being a member of the MORmON cult! I just no longer believe LDS idiocy!
@dougdcutler if only I could lessen my obsession ! & merely spend thousands of hours & dollars doing Joe Smith brand baptizing for dead people, most who will never accept MORmONISM but do it fast cause the dead are waiting! Haul Ass to the temple, to save dead people! Yah, THERE is a non obsessive approach to things! It makes sense to MORmONS!
Tell us how you really are a "Christian"? A true Christian has a solid enough foundation that they don't have a need to find fault in others' beliefs. A true Christian wouldn't have the time to do so because they are out serving the poor and needy. A true Christian shows love and is an example that leads people to the Savior.
You can answer all the questions you want at the Judgement Bar of Christ.
@dougdcutler here is another one for you to refute, Dougy. Some folks are saying LDS Inc's Beneficial Financial went out of business, of course as glowingly perfect as LDS INC is, it just can not be true, it must be bad sources! BUT You need to be the one who says so, with your FOOL MORmON authority! you can handle it ! Dougy! MORmONS FOREVER!
Refute another one? Of course, move to another question because you are incapable to stand behind your "KUED source"?
Usually, you anti-Mormons are claiming the LDS Church has "too much" money and that Beneficial Financial has "too much" assets. Can't make up your mind from what you read from you anti-Mormon mill?
@dougdcutler "move to another question because you are incapable to stand behind your "KUED source" ? Oh no, Dougy we dont have to move on from that if you dont want to. Yah, I totally abandoned Ken Verdoia & KUED, to believe you & side with your keen MORmON rebuttal on the matter of Brigham Young suspending tithing. Yah, YOU are credible! YOU are a MORmON! &Hack historian professionl journalist award winning documentarian Ken Verdoia is just a phony liar!
Ken Verdoia is a non-Mormon and he even admits that he is no expert which you have conveniently made him out to be.
In being asked "spiritual questions" like tithing, Ken Verdoias stated "That's not my expertise. I am not a theologian." May 27, 2007 Becoming "Utah's storyteller" By Doug Robinson.
I know it will be a shock to your obsessed anti-Mormon mind, but documentaries are not legit sources. If you believe otherwise, there is no point continuing with an anti-Mormon shill.
@dougdcutler & yet Ken Explained on video in detail the motivation for the research that was done for the documentary at his direcction by the KUED & the U of U staff, and what they discovered ( THAT BRIGHAM YOUNG SUSPENDED TITHING) AND IT TURNED OUT TO BE TOTALLY WRONG ACCORDING TO YOU - DOUG THE MIGHTY MORmON HISTORY EXPERT ! But dont worry. I am on your side. You must be right, because YOU are a MORmON & Ken V. is not!
@dougdcutler May 27, 2007 Ken Verdoia Becoming "Utah's storyteller" By Doug Robinson
I finally got around to reading this article that you cited. Great move on your part to bring that up as a way to dismantled Ken Verdoia credibility. You cherry picked a quote you took completely out of context made to Helen Whitney - A NON CREDIBLE SOURCE ACCORDING TO YOU DOCUMENTARY FILM MAKER
.... WHICH YOU THEN QUOTED but OMMITTED WHITNEYS part in it . You really are a MORmON!
@dougdcutler May 27, 2007 Becoming "Utah's storyteller" By Doug Robinson
Dougy, How come you falied to bring up Verdoia's 17 Emmies that the article mentions? PROOF Verdoia lied at least 17 times with your KEEN MORmON LOGIC APPLIED! or that Verdoia's documentaries are official source material in 200 college courses! Yah! good old zero credibility Ken! & Good as gold MORmON you!
@dougdcutler May 27, 2007 Becoming "Utah's storyteller" By Doug Robinson
yah Dougy just as you implied, Verdoia's DQ of himself as a theologian is NOT a sign of his objectivity as historian, its solid MORmON proof that the guy is untrustworthy ... because the untrustworthy guy said so! Man, Dougy, you are one SWIFT MORmON! My Hero too!
@dougdcutler Oh Dougy its just so sad that KUED is saddled with a liar like Ken Verdoia, but thank God you were here to point out what a phony Verdoia really is!
17 Emmies & official source material for 200 college courses. WHAT A PHONY LOSER ! It just so sad! that a straight shooter MORmON like you could not have Ken's Job & tell the world the real MORmON truth! I am with you! MORmON !
@dougdcutler yah. lets recap & relive all the stunning glory of your snappy comeback to the Notion that BY suspended tithing. Uhh Promontory is in Ogden,NOT Southern Ut, & southern Ut is under entirely different MORmON influence than the MORmON influence of Northern Utah. as well as a real sharp
"Unhhhh UHHH!" to Ken Verdoia! Proving B. Young never suspended tithing! Wow dougy you really know how to put anti MORmONS in their place!
I am not able to decipher your words, but I can see my statements have completely went over your head.
Regardless, you bring absolutely nothing to the table other than "documentaries" as pathetic sources. A typical characteristic of anti-Mormons, they claim PhD's, but are only capable of copying and pasting from their anti-Mormon mills. They don't live in reality.
My advice is to send a smoke signal to your anti-Mormon buddies, you are drowning in embarrassment.
@dougdcutler huh! whaaaaa ....... Duhhhhhhh Oh sorry! I am so on your side that I became you for an instant. I had to do it, to stop stuff from going over my head HUH! WHAAAAAA.... DUHHHH! Now I am a SHAPRY like you Dougy,
HuH whaaaaa .... DUuuHhh! all qualified to comment 'neverything!
@dougdcutler "I am unable to decipher your words" well get Joseph Smith & his seer stone & hat in here. Joe could decipher Reformed Egyptian! as it was written on the Gold Plates! & as MORmONS we Joes translation as the Book of MORmON is credible! ........ Even if documentaries are not!
@dougdcutler please please Dougy, tell us again about what a phony Ken Verdoia really is ! (because KEN is not a MORmON member, like you & me! right! ) Hearing you attack & discredit Ken Verdoia & all documentaries for that matter gives such a great feeling of hope & strength, showing how MORmON truth always prevails.... in the minds of MORmONS! MORmONISM FOREVER!
@dasfugufish yah me & my lack of substance! -citing that piddling liar Ken Verdoia.... with his 17 Emmy awards & 200 college classes referencing his work. thats why I switched to good MORmON Dougy's ultra substancial MORmON side! Sure Dougy has much more expertise ( that doug was so concerned about) than Ken, so much that Dougy cant mention it ! It makes sense to MORmONS!
@dasfugufish yah if only I could bring my substance standard up to that of Genius Dougy! & YOU! now that I have abandoned that Phony Ken Verdoia! The way Dougy said that Promontory was in Ogden, not in St George. & used that as Proof that Ken Verdoia & I were wrong! WOW that was ROCK solid MORmON logic in action! I just wish Doug would make the actual declaration that BY NEVER suspended tithing in Utah. It would be so AWESOME! Dougy seems to be avoiding that.... for some reason! why is that?
@dasfugufish Yah, I wish I could bring up my lacking substance standard to the lofty level you have there! Dont worry though, I am not done trying! I will be making a video commentary on this video too. I will most likely inculde your dazzling displays of MORmON thinking & logic just to show how MORmONISM really works!
Why would we bother talking to someone that has no respect for others?
By saying, "MORmON, they're calling someone a Moron. According to the Bible, those who speak Raca , or contempt towards their fellow men (in other words) against his brother, may receive serious consequences if un-repented.
Jude said there'd be mockers in the last days. We know which role that some desire to play and Jude suggest that they walk after their ungodly lusts.
@dasfugufish - I gave everyone a solid 6 months. I even answered question that people would NEVER accept mostly because I was interested in studying the subject for myself... I mean heck, why not? I gotta get my own study time in.
But as far as engaging others? I just no longer do. If they have a genuine question, then sure... but when they open up with MORmON or LDS INC, (beginning immediately by speaking evil of my character for belonging to the LDS church) then I just have NO time for them.
@dougdcutler - I'll hear that it is estimated that 20-30% in Nauvoo were sleeping around in a giant round-robin F@## fest marrying off 100's of women to the men but the genealogy & historical data doesn't support it. The figure 3-5% as reported are more accurate but not perfect.
Enemies to the church are getting desperate w/more sensationalism in their claim. In other words, they're exaggerating. But when they're pointed out as wrong, then they fall back to a weaker happy medium. Pathetic.
@THELDSLIFE - 3-5% of families being organized into Plural Marriage, that is. Wouldn't want those who kick against the pricks to have another reason to 'take advantage of one because of his words... I'll let them continue to eat, drink and be merry while trying to fear God, as Nephi says.
How come this video does not talk about Brigham Young's suspension of the "eternal law of tithing" in the 1870's? Its seems the Utah Mormon Saints could have used the Lords blessing then. But instead of invoking the Lord's much needed blessings Brigham Young just did away with tithing. WHY is that ?
@dougdcutler wow, it seems anybody mouthy enough to call me a liar at this point would also want to put some money in escrow & assign a legal abitrator on this as I offered to make it a bet. Go ahead & submitt your email address in a personal message. I could call you names, but I am much more ineterested in taking your money!
@dougdcutler wow with your needy reading comprehension no wonder you are still a MORmON. I had no intention of personally mailing you the source. I just wanted to make contact with you so you could put up some money for me to take. Actually you being a cheap shot phony ass MORmON you will likely just run your mouth instead of making a real cash backed stand. I am all for embarrassing you right here in public. whats it going to be, MORmON?
@dougdcutler Oh Dougy YOU are such a cry baby. You have called me a liar repeatedly. & big bad me countered by calling you a "history expert" & saying you were "mouthy". when your reading comp lack I said so. WHAT A JOKE! NOW I AM going to call you a cry baby, CRY BABY! & you are way too used to dealing with MORmONS who dont deliver!
@dougdcutler come on, Dougy! (try to) Insult me some more! You are so sure of yourself.... and you are so uninformed. Goad me to drop the hammer on you on this.
@dougdcutler keep in mind you are probably arguing with a self proclaimed neglected teenager. anyone who resorts to name calling to draw away from the fact that they are only spewing out what they hear from their parents or friends. don't let the child bait you.
@dougdcutler "called out on a lie" huh? who was the one who could not put up any cash to back up their lame ass mindless pro MORmON claims? Make sure to call out Ken Verdoia, nationally recognized historian & documentay maker of KUED too! Call him a liar too! You pathetic DUMB ASS. His documentary "promontory" tells about BY suspending tithing in the wake of BY fault dealing with the railroad.
The law of tithing is not eternal, it is a lesser and temporary law. The law of consecration is the eternal law which was started in St. George, Utah and then revoked by the Lord through Brigham Young because the members could not live the higher law. 2 June 1899, JH, p. 13. Teachings of Lorenzo Snow p. 158.
This is where the anti-Mormon salamandarsociety fails in understanding the difference between the two laws where you copied your lie.
@dougdcutler you might be familiar with utterly pathetic Garbage LDS Seminary video about Lorenzo Snow telling the southern Utah saints they better start paying tithing again so it could end the drought. Well guess what. they stopped paying tithing because BY had suspended tithing. That is the rest of story blood sucking LDS Inc will not own up to!
@bennchaca@bennchaca it seems to me that the real problem is you are unable to provide proof of what you say. Ken does not cite his sources and a extensive search yields nothing more than unsourced rhetoric. It is amusing when anti-Mormons proclaim PhDs in our own history and our doctrines. And when they are called out on their lies they resort to a temper tantrum. Pathetic!
@dougdcutler i find it odd myself, so many people claim to know so much about the LDS Church but they never take the time to check their sources or actually learn the doctrine taught. it is often that the lack of intellect in the rhetoric as one such as this does more damage to their 'cause'. the obvious inability to argue with any degree of coherence or structure would cause any objective reader to laugh at the obvious lack of intelligence in their statements. any illiterate fool can name call.
@dasfugufish "i find it odd myself" yah, yah, you would find anything that challenges MORmONISM to be odd. Meanwhile Joe Smith rampant adultery does not bother you in the least! Guess what Non MORmONS find to be quite odd ? MORmONS!
@dasfugufish "it seems to me that the real problem is you are unable to provide proof of what you say" the real problem is MORmON who become selectively ignorant in order to avoid factual info that discredit their insane cult. then Instead of doing the most cursory research you immediately fly back here to tell me I dont know how to do research. THis is why people hate MORmONS!
@dasfugufish yah count on that scoundrel Ken Verdoia to put out tons of widely viewed inaccurate information & get away with it. A Guy in his position can lie like crazy & get away with it! while MORmON church leaders ALWAYS tell the truth!
Thank God I never heard or read that tithing is an eternal law in MORmON meetings or writings! You guys are razor sharp on MORmON doctrine & logic !
If you actually watched the inspiring video and in the same regard, checked your pathetic sources before embarrassing yourself, you would learn that the railroad was in Promontory Summit which is in Ogden, Utah not southern Utah.
In addition, Pres. Snow was speaking to members in St. George, Utah which is southern Utah and his revelation on tithing had nothing to do with the northern railroads, but of the Saints failure in following the law of consecration and paying their tithes.
@dougdcutler wow doug, you got me! you totally proved me wrong! you fired a MORmON bullet of truth right through my foul lying anti MORmON heart.
Dang, I thought Promontory was in St George, not in Ogden. Wait till the folks in Corrine hear this! & MORmONS KNOW southern Utah certainly would not be effected by Brigham Young's decisions to suspend tithing.
@dougdcutler yah! there is no way members in southern Utah at that time had stopped paying tithing because members in Nothern utah had stopped under Brigham Young's direction. In order for that to happen the entire state of Utah would have to be under heavy MORmON influence ....... Damn I wish I was sharp as you are!
@dougdcutler "pathetic sources" thanks for pointing out that Ken Verdoia is a pathetic untrustworthy source. I never realized it unitl you said that ! You SHARPY! He does Ken stay employed at KUED/Uof U while lying so much/being so wrong ?yah, the church news, seminary videos, & Gordon BS Hinckley, THERE IS SOME reputable sources!
@dougdcutler make sure you keep harping on that southern Utah thing, & dinging me on not Knowing what proof or research is. That way you can ignore the real issue of Brigham Young DUMPING tithing just as someone had earlier said ! Make sure to keep trashing Ken Verdoia as an unreputable source..... in your keen MORmON estimation. It makes you guys look like real MORmON geniuses !
@dasfugufish "seven posts"? so what! this video is nothing more than a MORmON temper tantrum along with all the other pro MORmON videos of the MORmON spam jam campaign of Youtube, but you dont want to mention that..... just like you wont admit that MORmON tithing was suspended. MORmONS!

@skylerbaird i already did BEFORE i made my comment..why dont You look into the timeline of when horses were introduced by the explorers vs the alleged time that the indians in the book of moromon had them..it does not fit!!!! horses were not introduced at the timeof the alleged gold tablets descriptions. this is a lie that the book of moroman has and if you consider a prophet has to be correct 100% of the time then on this one fact the prophet/book of mormon is WRONG!
dasenuff 4 months ago
@dasenuff "The Book of Mormon mentions horses, yet these animals seem not to have been known to native Americans who greeted the Spaniards upon their arrival in the New World in the sixteenth century. Moreover, archaeological evidence for the presence of the horse in the pre-Columbian Americas is presently scant and inconclusive. How can this be explained? Careful consideration of this question begins with an examination of what the Book of Mormon says and does not say about horses." -Maxwell
skylerbaird 4 months ago
@skylerbaird nice try..but the book of moromon was revised again and again to try and substantiate its bogus and innacurate claims of indian history. this is why many who have a brain will actually understand that the book of moronmon is a bogus account by somebody who didnt know the facts of history or archeology. i recomend you stick with the bible and becaome a christian ,not a moronmon!
dasenuff 4 months ago
@dasenuff The revisions of the Book of Mormon were mainly reformatting the pages, punctuation, and spelling errors. Remember the men that translated this book did so with little education. How could a man who had little more than a fifth grade education write such a book? It makes no difference how it was written, whether I say it is true or you say it is not. All that matters is what God says. All you need to ask yourself is, if God told me the Book of Mormon was true, what would I do about it?
skylerbaird 4 months ago
the book of moroman is NOT truth..truth doesnt change.the book of mormon DID change and was innaccurate NOT becuz of 'punctiation' as your bogusly claiming...but it was major things like the horses and tribed and types of metals and weapons that the indians used etc.. these arent little things or spelling/ puntuation..and you writing those lies is very contrary to the truth of the almighty . defending outright lies f false prophesies. you stand convicted-read ur bible NOT the book of morman!!!
dasenuff 4 months ago
@dasenuff Horses and metals are there but wording, however minor, or a consistent change in the spelling of a name..... The large majority of these textual changes involve minor variation in phraseology. For instance ....the indefinite article 'a' has accidentally been omitted,.... 'a' other changes
in 1 Nephi 12:18 which in the original manuscript read SWORD instead of WORD.
These textual errors have never prevented readers of the book from receiving their own personal witness of its truth.

@xGoliathOnlinex what really funny is how you would try and discredit the BIBLE and defend the book of lies instead. the greek is what is used to translate the new testament inthe kjv..the version you mormans use.... given your own statemnet..you should be considering the fact that YOUR religion may be bogus..because it IS!

dresinss 1 year ago
@dresinss The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is financially stable because it follows the Lord's Law of Tithing - just one of many commandments followed by disciples of Jesus Christ in his Church that indicate its truthfulness.
DefendingMormonism 1 year ago
@DefendingMormonism Like I already asked you: How does that indicate truth? Richard Dawkins is financially stable too, for starters... Does that mean what he believes is true too?
You are saying that: if God says,"If you pay tithing, you we be financially stable." and then you are actually financially stable, that it proves that the whole religion is true? That's a far off stretch.. Kinda like the ol'.. "Well you don't see any bears around here do ya?"
dresinss 1 year ago
@dresinss No proving here, just promoting. I will say this simpler: The fact that we follow the Lord's Law of Tithing is just one indication (of many) that we are the Lord's church. Being financially stable is simply a result of paying tithing, not an indication of truthfulness.
Like you mentioned, there are many evil people who rich (monetarily).

Save your insincere question.

Dougy! MORmONS FOREVER!
bennchaca 1 year ago
@bennchaca
Refute another one? Of course, move to another question because you are incapable to stand behind your "KUED source"?
Usually, you anti-Mormons are claiming the LDS Church has "too much" money and that Beneficial Financial has "too much" assets. Can't make up your mind from what you read from you anti-Mormon mill?
dougdcutler 1 year ago
@dougdcutler "move to another question because you are incapable to stand behind your "KUED source" ? Oh no, Dougy we dont have to move on from that if you dont want to. Yah, I totally abandoned Ken Verdoia & KUED, to believe you & side with your keen MORmON rebuttal on the matter of Brigham Young suspending tithing. Yah, YOU are credible! YOU are a MORmON! &Hack historian professionl journalist award winning documentarian Ken Verdoia is just a phony liar!
bennchaca 1 year ago
@bennchaca
If you believe otherwise, there is no point continuing with an anti-Mormon shill.
dougdcutler 1 year ago

& Good as gold MORmON you!

yah Dougy just as you implied, Verdoia's DQ of himself as a theologian is NOT a sign of his objectivity as historian, its solid MORmON proof that the guy is untrustworthy ... because the untrustworthy guy said so! Man, Dougy, you are one SWIFT MORmON! My Hero too!
bennchaca 1 year ago

@bennchaca
Huh?
I am not able to decipher your words, but I can see my statements have completely went over your head.
Regardless, you bring absolutely nothing to the table other than "documentaries" as pathetic sources. A typical characteristic of anti-Mormons, they claim PhD's, but are only capable of copying and pasting from their anti-Mormon mills. They don't live in reality.
My advice is to send a smoke signal to your anti-Mormon buddies, you are drowning in embarrassment.

It makes sense to MORmONS!
bennchaca 1 year ago
@dasfugufish yah if only I could bring my substance standard up to that of Genius Dougy! & YOU! now that I have abandoned that Phony Ken Verdoia! The way Dougy said that Promontory was in Ogden, not in St George. & used that as Proof that Ken Verdoia & I were wrong! WOW that was ROCK solid MORmON logic in action! I just wish Doug would make the actual declaration that BY NEVER suspended tithing in Utah. It would be so AWESOME! Dougy seems to be avoiding that.... for some reason! why is that?
bennchaca 1 year ago
@dasfugufish Yah, I wish I could bring up my lacking substance standard to the lofty level you have there! Dont worry though, I am not done trying!
(Jude 1: 17-19) - I no longer engage them.

dasfugufish 1 year ago
@dasfugufish - I gave everyone a solid 6 months. I even answered question that people would NEVER accept mostly because I was interested in studying the subject for myself... I mean heck, why not? I gotta get my own study time in.
But as far as engaging others? I just no longer do. If they have a genuine question, then sure... but when they open up with MORmON or LDS INC, (beginning immediately by speaking evil of my character for belonging to the LDS church) then I just have NO time for them.
THELDSLIFE 1 year ago
@dougdcutler - I'll hear that it is estimated that 20-30% in Nauvoo were sleeping around in a giant round-robin F@## fest marrying off 100's of women to the men but the genealogy & historical data doesn't support it. The figure 3-5% as reported are more accurate but not perfect.
Enemies to the church are getting desperate w/more sensationalism in their claim. In other words, they're exaggerating. But when they're pointed out as wrong, then they fall back to a weaker happy medium. Pathetic.
THELDSLIFE 1 year ago
@THELDSLIFE - 3-5% of families being organized into Plural Marriage, that is. Wouldn't want those who kick against the pricks to have another reason to 'take advantage of one because of his words... I'll let them continue to eat, drink and be merry while trying to fear God, as Nephi says.

How come this video does not talk about Brigham Young's suspension of the "eternal law of tithing" in the 1870's? Its seems the Utah Mormon Saints could have used the Lords blessing then. But instead of invoking the Lord's much needed blessings Brigham Young just did away with tithing. WHY is that ?
bennchaca 1 year ago
@bennchaca
Your anti-Mormon mills have failed you.
Tithing has never been "suspended". Verify your anti-Mormon mill before you continue to embarrass yourself.

@dougdcutler wow with your needy reading comprehension no wonder you are still a MORmON. I had no intention of personally mailing you the source. I just wanted to make contact with you so you could put up some money for me to take. I am all for embarrassing you right here in public. whats it going to be, MORmON?

@dougdcutler 44? :|
dasfugufish 1 year ago
@dougdcutler "called out on a lie" huh? who was the one who could not put up any cash to back up their lame ass mindless pro MORmON claims? Make sure to call out Ken Verdoia, nationally recognized historian & documentay maker of KUED too! Call him a liar too! You pathetic DUMB ASS. His documentary "promontory" tells about BY suspending tithing in the wake of BY fault dealing with the railroad.
bennchaca 1 year ago
@bennchaca
This is a classic example of major fail.
This is where the anti-Mormon salamandarsociety fails in understanding the difference between the two laws where you copied your lie.
dougdcutler 1 year ago
@dougdcutler you might be familiar with utterly pathetic Garbage LDS Seminary video about Lorenzo Snow telling the southern Utah saints they better start paying tithing again so it could end the drought. Well guess what. they stopped paying tithing because BY had suspended tithing. That is the rest of story blood sucking LDS Inc will not own up to!
bennchaca 1 year ago
@bennchaca @bennchaca it seems to me that the real problem is you are unable to provide proof of what you say. Ken does not cite his sources and a extensive search yields nothing more than unsourced rhetoric. CITE: to quote by way of example, authority, or proof (it means you need a real quote, excluding one whose original source is not, or cannot be provided).
dasfugufish 1 year ago
@dasfugufish
It is amusing when anti-Mormons proclaim PhDs in our own history and our doctrines. And when they are called out on their lies they resort to a temper tantrum. Pathetic!
dougdcutler 1 year ago
@dougdcutler i find it odd myself, so many people claim to know so much about the LDS Church but they never take the time to check their sources or actually learn the doctrine taught. it is often that the lack of intellect in the rhetoric as one such as this does more damage to their 'cause'. the obvious inability to argue with any degree of coherence or structure would cause any objective reader to laugh at the obvious lack of intelligence in their statements. any illiterate fool can name call.
dasfugufish 1 year ago
@dasfugufish "i find it odd myself" yah, yah, you would find anything that challenges MORmONISM to be odd. Meanwhile Joe Smith rampant adultery does not bother you in the least! Guess what Non MORmONS find to be quite odd ? MORmONS!
bennchaca 1 year ago
@dasfugufish "it seems to me that the real problem is you are unable to provide proof of what you say" the real problem is MORmON who become selectively ignorant in order to avoid factual info that discredit their insane cult. then Instead of doing the most cursory research you immediately fly back here to tell me I dont know how to do research. THis is why people hate MORmONS!
bennchaca 1 year ago
@dasfugufish yah count on that scoundrel Ken Verdoia to put out tons of widely viewed inaccurate information & get away with it. A Guy in his position can lie like crazy & get away with it! while MORmON church leaders ALWAYS tell the truth!
Thank God I never heard or read that tithing is an eternal law in MORmON meetings or writings! You guys are razor sharp on MORmON doctrine & logic !
bennchaca 1 year ago
@bennchaca
If you actually watched the inspiring video and in the same regard, checked your pathetic sources before embarrassing yourself, you would learn that the railroad was in Promontory Summit which is in Ogden, Utah not southern Utah.
In addition, Pres. Snow was speaking to members in St. George, Utah which is southern Utah and his revelation on tithing had nothing to do with the northern railroads, but of the Saints failure in following the law of consecration and paying their tithes.
dougdcutler 1 year ago
@dougdcutler wow doug, you got me! you totally proved me wrong! you fired a MORmON bullet of truth right through my foul lying anti MORmON heart.
Dang, I thought Promontory was in St George, not in Ogden. Wait till the folks in Corrine hear this! & MORmONS KNOW southern Utah certainly would not be effected by Brigham Young's decisions to suspend tithing.
bennchaca 1 year ago
@dougdcutler yah! there is no way members in southern Utah at that time had stopped paying tithing because members in Nothern utah had stopped under Brigham Young's direction. In order for that to happen the entire state of Utah would have to be under heavy MORmON influence ....... Damn I wish I was sharp as you are!
bennchaca 1 year ago
@dougdcutler "pathetic sources" thanks for pointing out that Ken Verdoia is a pathetic untrustworthy source. I never realized it unitl you said that ! You SHARPY! He does Ken stay employed at KUED/Uof U while lying so much/being so wrong ?yah, the church news, seminary videos, & Gordon BS Hinckley, THERE IS SOME reputable sources!
bennchaca 1 year ago
@dougdcutler make sure you keep harping on that southern Utah thing, & dinging me on not Knowing what proof or research is. That way you can ignore the real issue of Brigham Young DUMPING tithing just as someone had earlier said ! Make sure to keep trashing Ken Verdoia as an unreputable source..... in your keen MORmON estimation. It makes you guys look like real MORmON geniuses !
