You know just to make the whole thing even worse for you, allmost everything in bioshizzle is stolen from a much better game (that you would hate more) called system shock 2, especially the story, its plot twists, and the way its told (audio logs, ghosts ect) So yeah, the one thing you liked about Bioshizzle belongs to a different game.
Nice review man. I'm personally in the niche group of people who like horror games so I was very excited about this game long before it came out. I honestly bought an xbox360 for this game alone. I enjoyed it but I do agree that it isn't perfection. Good job, and keep it up.

I totally agree with Storm, the game didn't draw me in and I just moved on to play Burnout Paradise, which I actually did have fun with. I feel that Bioshock had some good ideas, but I just didn't like it.

He already did. In fact I think that was the start of the "all bars to the right", though I may be mistaken.
I found the game to be pretty fun, but I could only play it for short periods of time before starting to worry about an adrenaline overdose, from zombies invading my personal space.
My thoughts on the karma system are that it doesn't make the game worse, but if the small change in the game makes you play it twice, it must be doing its job.
The problem i had with bioshock is there is really no challenge. I don't say this to be arrogant. There was no penalty for dieing. You don't loss ammo and the baddies don't get their heath back. The difficulty is an illusion.
Storm how can you complain about limited ammo? So you don't like shock tactics? As a long time horror fan shock tactics is really all there is. Though when its over done it dose get aggravating.
Shock tactics? I would assume this has something to do with the horror factor in the game. Which Storm was mentioning on how he doesn't understand why people like fear envoked into them.. I don't either, but sometimes its fun, like riding a rollercoaster

I find it strange that you review bioshock just as I replayed it for achievements. Anyway I love that game. I agree the Karma system blows compared to other games, but the game itself is fun and I love the story. I also agree with the keeping the lights on. Terrible thing to do to someone.
Dude i hate it when i miss out on great titles that i didnt even know existed. For example, i heard of CoD4 but didnt know i was missing out on it until i finally got it and was playing online with very few ppl. Is GTA online still going strong?
Well I don't think anybody said that you were supposed to enjoy watching the big daddy kill scene.
That's like saying "well I didn't enjoy No Country For Old Men because so-and-so dies", I'm sure they didn't expect you to like that particular aspect of the movie. It's just part of the story.

The last time I used the "I QUIT that game" was for Twilight Princess, which was almost exactly one year ago. It might be a reoccuring. The games I play and what they remind me of really determine the writing.
This review was a little hard to watch because I really liked Bioshock but I see your point. All the sidetracking is annoying, and the difference in ending was stupid. I respect your opinion and keep up the good work, Storm.

The problem i had with bioshock is there is really no challenge. I don't say this to be arrogant. There was no penalty for dieing. You don't loss ammo and the baddies don't get their heath back. The difficulty is an illusion.
Storm how can you complain about limited ammo? So you don't like shock tactics? As a long time horror fan shock tactics is really all there is. Though when its over done it dose get aggravating.

Shock tactics? I would assume this has something to do with the horror factor in the game. Which Storm was mentioning on how he doesn't understand why people like fear envoked into them.. I don't either, but sometimes its fun, like riding a rollercoaster

A shock tactic is the use of loud noises or surprise. Its not necessarily scary or horrifying.

I find it strange that you review bioshock just as I replayed it for achievements. Anyway I love that game. I agree the Karma system blows compared to other games, but the game itself is fun and I love the story. I also agree with the keeping the lights on. Terrible thing to do to someone.

Dude i hate it when i miss out on great titles that i didnt even know existed. For example, i heard of CoD4 but didnt know i was missing out on it until i finally got it and was playing online with very few ppl. Is GTA online still going strong?

Well I don't think anybody said that you were supposed to enjoy watching the big daddy kill scene.
That's like saying "well I didn't enjoy No Country For Old Men because so-and-so dies", I'm sure they didn't expect you to like that particular aspect of the movie. It's just part of the story.
And do you possibly like it less, considering it got so much hype? I mean, yeah, there seems to be a lot of backtracking, but metroid has that too. Is it carried out is a less desirable way in bioshizzle?

The last time I used the "I QUIT that game" was for Twilight Princess, which was almost exactly one year ago. It might be a reoccuring. The games I play and what they remind me of really determine the writing.

This review was a little hard to watch because I really liked Bioshock but I see your point. All the sidetracking is annoying, and the difference in ending was stupid. I respect your opinion and keep up the good work, Storm.

Nice video. Even though i was less than enthusiastic about their aiming system with the guns it doesn't out way the plasmids gameplay and story for me. and yeah, i was expecting a little more from the Good/Bad experience.

i actually bought bioshock 2 weeks ago out of curiosity. i have beaten it once(i saved all the little sisters)I really enjoyed the game i really had no problem with the game. the points you raised dont really bother me at all.
