The guy with the striped shirt and white cap on the right holding the little boy is me and my son Tyler . I went just to see these guys . Hey dudestr are you going to see them in San Angelo later this month ? I'm still debating about it , but it would be pretty cool since it will just be them and maybe they could play more of their older stuff too . I'm still pretty stoked about seeing myself on YouTube . I can't wait to show this to my boy . Thank you for posting this . God bless .
Yeah I'll probably be there. I hear Kutless is going to be there as well, along with Stellar Kart... I like both of those bands. This was the first time I'd seen Day of Fire though, and they were good... I will more than likely be there later this month. I'll probably be wearing a "Hard Rock Cafe- San Francisco" cap. God bless you as well!
Cool . I was under the impression that it was only them , but they hadn't posted any details on their myspace site about that particular show .
Actually that was my second DoF concert . I was surprised to see Josh with his head shaved . I guess he figured it was best to fire it before it quit .
You know , at these big festivals they sure have alot of questionable bands , but DoF is the real deal . Dedicated to Christ absolutely .
Oh totally. You should have stayed for Disciple - I've seen them three times, and they're hard-core for Christ as well. Kevin Young (their vocalist) will actually stop to preach at every show, he will stop to tell others about Christ. And at this concert, he went to the prayer tent and prayed with new believers. It was awesome.
Kutless and Superchick will also be at the concert on the 20th, so there will be a lot of people there just to see them... so Day of Fire's signing/chat-with-the-band line (if you're into that kind of stuff) should be pretty short. At Rock the Desert it was only like 25 people long... including Day of Fire (yes, they stood in their own line... it was funny!)
Lately it seems that all music is about is how attractive the bass player seems to be, and it's not judged on actual talent. That's why the "emo explosion" is so big.
Most of them were there for the two emo bands Hawk Nelson and Switchfoot and didn't give a dang about Day of Fire, RED, or Disciple... they don't like the good music i guess.
i loved Hawk Nelson, Switchfoot, RED, Disciple, ff5, newsboys, the wedding, well i loved pretty much everyone aewsome year cant wait till next year 3 DAYZ OF RTD!!!!!!!!!
i was there i was holding a American flag guitar hero guitar the whole time!

I was looking through a bunch of photos I took of Day of Fire, and I think I saw you in a couple of them. Small world, isn't it?
