Try using a Dm7, A7, and G7 during your verses- I think you'll like that better; you can even use Bm7 to a regular G and A for the chorus. You have a great sense of rhythm, which is unfortunately not very common among guitarists nowadays- since the shredding days of the 80's until now guitarists on more interested in wanking.
