  • YUP - UNION needs to find a NEW scape goat. We should have just raised taxes? - and up it looks good today? - THEY SAY - but after we get rid of walker - then we will see the results of 35 million the NEA gives to the Dem $!%&s every year. AT a listening session -a lady said - we are both out of work (& i say; WI is getting jobs) BUT then she said: Just raise the Taxes - so "I can get what I want and get it NOW" (my words)

  • Short term profit instead of planning, innovation, or creativity. The hallmark of the GOP. Like a shady developer the results of their actions won't be apparent immediately so a new scapegoat can be found somewhere down the road.

  • @tomkastle ... planning, innovation, creativity or raise taxes. That's what you really wanted to say, right?

  • @tomkastle The sad thing is, he is doing exactly the opposite. If he was being the shady developer that you are making him out to be, he would have left this immense problem that is our state's debt for someone else instead of doing exactly what he was elected to do and right the ship.

  • @tomkastle LOL, this district has been running a deficit FOR YEARS under the weight of the UNIONS and DEMOCRATS and the first year they run a surplus its due to a lack of planning innovation and creativity? We can easily judge the long term results of prior policies vs short term of the new ones and easily determine the clear winner. My god, dont democrats every want our kids to win? You guys are so hell bent on your socialist agenda you will put your kids on the alter of obama. Sad.

  • Shucks, I went to a 1 room School thru Grade 5, then was Bussed to a town school. Grade 6, there, had about 35 students, which did not phaze our Teacher, who had taught most of our Parents, and knew all of our Grandparents! Getting in trouble, in _that_ Classroom, meant trouble at Home, trouble with Grandma (also a Schoolteacher, and retired), trouble with Aunts (worse, 1 was also a retired Schoolteacher!). Even the School Inspector was wary of our Grade 6 Teacher.

  • No you wont have to work a lot more because you will be able to have smaller class sizes and that means less work for teachers and more attention being directed at the students for the students.

    Jackass union reps.

  • @USMC2nd yes they will have to work more because they will have an extra class to teach, which means more students total, and less prep time, meaning that if they want to keep improving their teaching/lesson plans, they have to do it outside of school, where they are not getting paid.

  • also, under that bullshit teacher handbook, the principal can dictate that they must come to certain extracurricular activities, which means they are doing more work that they are not getting paid for. this also means that they may not be able to attend their own children's activities. so not only is this hurting the teachers and students in kaukauna, it is hurting the students of other schools whose parents work in kaukauna.

  • @USMC2nd that "jackass union rep" in the video is not only one of the best teachers in the hgh school, but one of the best teachers ive ever had, including some of my college professors. i would actually try learning about what is going on before mouthing off about it and making myself sound like a jackass, as opposed to the educated union reps that you so elegantly insulted.
