Ah, I miss those times. I can understand people find EQ crappy when they just look at these graphics, but those who played the game 10 years ago know that EQ is more than what you can see here. Much more!
I am afraid you must go back to your failboat, as you did not realize you could always change your graphics back to the original. Also if you care that other people see your character with new models rather than the old, you have problems...
Sorry but if you recall correctly yo ucouldnt use mounts with the old character models. Thats an item that changed the gameplay in a huge way on all servers.
What I think I liked most about this game is that it was designed to be played from first person... Felt more real that way. I miss this game. So many good memories

EQ is still the best game out there in terms of challenging content. I think it needs to bring new players to the game and attract old ones back. There needs to be more rewarding single group content and totally revamped content for new players revolving around their home cities.
Gloomingdeep is a pile of crap. Crescent reach rocks but is not race specific.

ther is another video here called everquest memories i think that shows what highpass looked like back then. that was my favorite zone for a good year,seeing the old pre-revamped zone gave me a tear.

I rember this....lol it was awsome raid style from OLD eq lmao think highest person there was lvl 20 at the time...i missed things like this as i lvled to 50 with 2 toons then came RoK and etc etc till i had 5 lvl 75s but i still miss this this stuff even tho i play WoW now nothing in the MMO world compairs to EQ
If you say that EQ sucks then you clearly have never played it, this film was shot using graphic models from nearly 5 years ago which can be updated with a single click. As far as game play goes EQ is far and above the best outthere, EQ2 DAoC WoW VG all of them, way way to easy to play and to noob friendly to pose the slightest challenge
your ignorance kills me this game came out years before WoW did. WoW= kiddie there is no comparison to how great of game play and depth Everquest has. the only reason people prefer WoW is becuase its soo much easier. also the graphics have been updated to since this video. i mean the description says june 23, 2000! i belive thats 4 or 5 years before wow even launched

ooh yes.. its a lot more :) been playing for 7 years, and sure..graphics got better. a lot better. but that is not why i keep coming back ..
