Hey guys ! Don´t fill the camelbak with anything different water ! Even energydrinks are not suitable for omega reservoir! Though Camelbak allows it, not water drinks are so hard washing on and them can grow some microorganisms and fungus !
@romka4567 u can put milk alcohol or gatorade in a hydration pack u can but u havto wash it when ur done but if u take a long time to drink it it will leave a nasty tast in it no matter how much u wash it so cold water is the best thing to put in it
Can you Explain exactly how PureFlow keeps the water inside CamalBak bladders/backpacks fresh with no plastic taste. Google and forums are flooded with cleaning remedys for the bad taste and for residue. I myself really enjoy my Mule but tastes so nasty sometimes in a 30-60 min after being in the bladder. I clean it every use.
Great review but I'm after a pack for motorcycling and a few areas that are never covered by anyone is the ergonomics, weather protection for items inside bag i.e. is it waterproof and also can the zips be opened easily with one hand? Important on a bike for complicated reasons.
The zippers are very easy to open with one hand. They extend out and have a loop to grab onto. For example, when I'm mountain biking and I want a granola bar, I can reach back, take it out and zip it back up.
This pack suits my needs perfectly, but check their others to see if one fits your needs more.
How does this compare to the Fairfax for running? would you recommend this particular one for running? I just need my camelbak to be able to carry my cellphone , a protein bar, knife and flashlight. (and water of course)

I fill mine up with chocolate milk before I go on long runs. Keeps me hydrated and energized the whole time.

It can also be use to go to outdoor concerts in the park , amusement parks, etc not always bicycling and mountain climbing, think people think.
