Basic Car Care : How to Change a Tire

Leave the guy alone he's trying to help,although some of his info is questionable. I will tell you guys this if your going to change a tire.Loosen the nuts before you jack up the tire,not all the way though. After you jake the tire up, thats when you completley take the nuts off. It will be much easier and safer, than trying to put force on the 4way when the tire is jacked up.

It's common sense when putting the lug nuts back in. The key is to put them back in evenly so once the tire's done & set, the lug nuts are evenly balanced with pressure to sostain the tire in place & safe.

It makes sense. but IMO changing a tire is also common sense-like legos.

but everyone isnt good at legos. Thats why this video exists.

Also for somebody who didnt know how to change a tire in the first place, its cold blooded to say it matters the order to put them back on.

that actually places more emphasis on a minor thing making somebody think its more important. Scary how leaving something minor out makes major confusion. he shouldnt have said it at all if he was goin to be incomplete.

Break the lugs first before you jack and always put on the e-brake.

Always break the lug-nuts loose before you jack the car up, so you don't pull the car off the jack or jack stands. This wasn't mentioned in the video.

Haha no problem. It also makes things easier because you won't have to fight the wheel to keep it from turning while loosening the nuts up.
