By the way Evasion is one hell of a book!! after I read it i signed the inside cover and passed it on only to ask when he was done to do the same ...Id like to think that that copy is still in active circulation.

What a cool idea! It's amazing the difference a small thank you note makes. I have ordered things on the Net hundreds of time's but this is the experience that sticks with me. Thanks for sharing your experience.

I hope you find what you are looking for in here".after more than 8years I almost forgot all about that note but I'll never forget the and overwhelming gratitude and appreciation I felt when i read that note packed in with all the extra stickers and posters ...It felt real.

I had the same experience with Crimethinc. I don't agree with everything Crimethinc has to say - especially their rationale for shoplifting - but I also wouldn't say I don't have anything in common with their point of view either. I think the bulk of their thesis is spot-on.

Like you, I ordered Evasion, and I got the stickers, poster, and handwritten note.

The people at Crimethinc are great.

No I'm not an anarchist, I just like reading all kinds of books. Off the map and Evasion are more stories of travel and freedom then anything. I don't agree with everything I read but I like to hear all viewpoints. I personally like good hardworking police officers. I also support the troops and have friends deployed and fighting right now. Gotta keep an open mind.
