  • @angel38325 do you know what commas are?

  • My best year was 150 books... Now I don't even keep track. I am WAY too busy duing term time.

  • I love u guys ur awesome keep doing what ur doing :D

  • All of your book choices were awesome! I haven't read most of them but I really want to! And I miss all the haul videos and stuff you both used to upload!

  • Lol, my dad thought i was trying to kill someone! keep up the good work guys

  • @JoTheBW Glad you are liking it!

  • Stop randomly screaming......

  • @bonquionionring We get randomly excited.

  • Tiny Cooper was without a doubt one of the best characters I have ever read about in a book. He was funny, nice, and really really large and really really gay XD I personally thought the whole reason the two WGs were in the book were to show the contrast between them and their relationship with Tiny. I liked how John's WG was kind of there as a backup for when Tiny was sad, and how DL's WG was more of a love interest. It was fantastic! I found TFIOS signed and I am reading it now, it's so good!

  • @KiraismyLord I completely agree. Tiny literally made that story what it was. And congrats on the amazing find! :)

  • My english teacher assigned the giver to us.. its the first book in english class that I actually really enjoyed!

  • @GDCLA We read it in school a really long time ago as well, its an amazing book.

  • I really not going to do a number challenge, but I will do the goodreads challenge with 35 books. If I don't complete it no big deal, I only really want to keep track on the books I do read this year without wasting paper by writing them down. Some awesome books I hope you have a wonderful year of reading ahead.

  • @crazyC88 Plus its really easy to lose it when you simply write it down. Goodreads keeps it no matter how forgetful you are. :)

  • Hey. Just put a video up on the books i read in 2011. Please go watch! and sub!! im new at this.

  • @AnnaSkysTheLimit Welcome to the community!

  • Whoo, House of Dark Shadows made the cut! Those are some of my favorites... :D

  • @TheChristianMiles I know! They don't get enough hype!

  • i thought whiter didn't make any sense from the scientific point!

  • are you only reading fiction? no non-fiction?

  • @kittyloly We generally do not read very much non-fiction but we have been known to pick one up every once in a while.

  • Between Shades of Grey FTW!!

  • great video :)

  • @93soulmates Thank you kindly! :)

  • Nightshade was amazing one of my favorites this year but the other books in the series were a let down. What I like about Whither is the friendship between the girls.

  • @brightday02 You thought Wolfsbane was a let down? Utoh. :/

  • @ChapterChicks Honestly I couldn't even finish the book. I just didn't care. Too much shay and the book reads too much like a history lesson. I got Bloodrose from the library last week but I didn't start it.

  • I LOVED Will Grayson, Will Grayson! :)

  • @Dmfriend26 Tiny Cooper rocked our socks off!

  • I must say that Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare was my FAVORITE book of the year...and probably her best ever too (:

  • @cheervolley4eva I haven't read that yet. I've been saving my Cassandras for rainy days when I need something I know will be delicious.

  • Great video guys, this looks like motivation for me to get off my butt and do my own list. Eventually. But one challenge I'm doing, and I thought you would find interesting is the Book2Movie Challenge 2012 - where we review both books and its movie adaptation according to a category given to every month this year.

  • @nxleepresents Just message me if you want more details and link to the challenge. Stupid youtube comment thing isn't letting me post the link here. Sorry about that! :(

  • @nxleepresents That sounds like a really AMAZING challenge! :) I love comparing the books to the movies. Stacy and I will sit there and critique like anyone actually cares what we're saying. Lol

  • Did you show "The Dark and Hollow Places" by Carrie Ryan in the video? Because is on the list in the description bar, but I don't remember to see it. OO'

  • @giofontenella NO! lol Somehow we completely skipped it. Dunno how.

  • what is your opinion about matched by ally condie

  • @6nnagil I actually reviewed that book! :) Just search Matched in the search bar!

  • I got married last year and read 100 books. :)

  • @acoupleofnerds Show off. ;) ;)

  • I had a challenge of 165 and had to lower it to 150 which I did do. I did make the 150 but I am going to try to make it to make it to 165 this year. I am doing thestorysirens debut authors challenge and I am going to try to do some of the goodreads monthly challenges.

  • @bookrockgoddess Woot woot! Look at you go! 150 books is awesome! :) Good luck with all your challenges this year!

  • When you guys "whooped" over Jessica's Guide on Dating on the Dark Side, I literally jumped. Scary!

and... YOU'RE MARRIED?! How old are you two, anyways? (is that an okay question to ask?)

  • @doubleAAbattery7 Haha sorry we scared you! I am almost 21 and Stacy is almost 27!

  • Ha ha I love your dog continually pacing in the background as if to say "Ooh, they've got the camera on again." Quick! Cameo moment! lol. I think the world would be a very sad place the day, you both stop making video's together. YAY you mentioned me. I'm so easily impressed lol. It's good to be back this year, my first book i'm reading at the moment is The Hunger Games, and I can't seem to pull my head out of it.

  • @princessangel64 Well buckle up and prepare to keep having your head stuck in it because the rest of them are just as devour-able. And Lance is such a show off. Lol

  • yay your doing the A+P book challenge! :D I'm so excited to see what you guys are going to be reading :).

  • @pbookbuddy We're excited to be participating! :)

  • I'm only doing the 2012 Goodreads Challenge and the Winter Challenge on the YA Science Fiction & Fantasy Book Club on Goodreads. The Winter challenge was interesting, they gave you nine headers and you had to find a book to go with it so like it was Winter books, so the title had to have something to do with winter, then there was it gets better, by the numbers, something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, valentine & group love. It's been an awesome challenge so far.

  • @simplytakeit That sounds like an awesome challenge! We'll have to look into it next year during winter!

  • Between shades of gray was the best! I totaly cried at the vary end.

  • great wrap up, ladies! Not so great that I just added like 6 books to my wishes list. haha.

Great challenges! I might have to add the 1001 Before You Die one, that sounds great, and I already challenged myself to 6 classics in 2012 - so that list will help! YAY! =D

  • @BunnyCates That list will definitely help! There are some classics that really are just amazing. But, it really makes me wonder what will be the classics from our generation. Ya know what I mean?

  • Loved this video! My favorite reads in 2011 were: Divergent by Veronica Roth, Firelight by Sophie Jordan, Bloodlines by Richelle Mead, City of Fallen Angels & Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare,The Wolves of Mercy Falls by Maggie Stiefvater, Where She Went by Gayle Forman, and The Iron Queen by Julie Kagawa.

Sorry that was a lot! Haha. I am participating in the goodreads challenge. I am going to try to read 100 books. Hopefully I can do it. I am also doing the 2012 Author Debut challenge.

  • @xxxdancergirlxxx Those are some awesome challenges and some awesome books! Good luck reading 100, it is a lot of work but some people do it no problem. o.0

  • Great 2011 Vlog! Totally agree with Wither & Morganville Vamps. Stacie: If you enjoyed Legacy, let me suggest Juliet Marillier’s Sevenwaters series, starting w/ Daughter of the Forest.

Question? I read about 50% of Jessica’s Guide, and I didn’t find it dark & bad at all, does the story take a turn or something at the end? I kind of want to finish it because everyone said it was grand, yet I wasn’t captivated at what I was reading.

  • @1alazydaisy It isn't like crazy dark or crazy bad, but the main vamp character isn't all brooding and romantic and sweet and had been pining for only her for centuries and all that typical stuff, so compared to Edward, he was a lot tougher of a vampire. There is some more darkness the further it goes though. But maybe it just wasn't your cup of tea! :)

  • These seem like some really interesting books! I'm going to have to check out some of them soon. Also, thank you for participating in the reading challenge! I hope you both enjoy it :) Happy new year!

  • @AmirasBookReviews The first month was fun so far! I can't wait to dive into Agatha Christie! (I'm not sure if thats the correct spelling but I'm too lazy to look!)

  • I am half way done with The Power of Six and I am loving it! I like how it bounces back between John and Marina.

  • awesome 11 of 11 vid! I so have to do this wrap up soon. :)

  • @ReadingRhinoPress I absolutely cannot wait to see it! :)

  • Will Grayson, Will Grayson!!!! Though I am not a huge fan of Tiny Cooper haha.

  • @McGiggles92 Eh to each their own!

  • @ChapterChicks I mean he is a lovable character, he is just too hyper for me.

  • ahaha David Leviathan

  • @padfootandprongs07 I absolutely love your username!

  • @ChapterChicks Thanks! I love Harry Potter <3

  • I was looking at that book Vesper...Might try it..

  • @chadgoodell You definitely should! :)

  • Great job thanks for the writing the books on the below bar =]

  • @Shopaholic8450 You're welcome! I hate when people don't do that!

  • Haha! you two make laugh all the time :)

The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer was mind blowing! Totally my favorite of 2011. I read Between Shades of Gray because of Stacy and I loved it, so thank ya Stacy! It was a strong read.

I am dying to read Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side.

I am reading The Iron King because of you two. You are my book gurus!

  • @petitpiuhoney YAY! Glad we could help you to pick out some many new books, because there really are some amazing ones out there. We're also glad we could make you laugh, you should see our outtakes, we edit out at least twenty minutes of us just cackling over our mistakes.

  • Great job as always ladies! You always make me excited for new books.

  • @Pebbles730 We're glad we could help feed your book addiction!

  • Some fantastic books. Some I still have to read- well most !!! I just finished Falling Under it was freaking fantastic. Must read Nightshade. Will you be reading the next book in the Jessica Series. I don't think its a fail. I think any book read is awesome.

  • @sadomirth I definitely plan on picking up Jessica Guide to Ruling on the Dark side, or whatever it is called. The first one was just so good! And thank you, I agree, any book read is a great accomplishment. Some people didn't read more than one last year I'm sure!

  • How can i do a book challenge do i just count how many books i read or actually make a list?!! :D

  • @zarafinahensfeld Whichever you want to do! I usually just count them, because you have no idea which amazing books you may come across and you don't want to be swayed from reading them since they're not on your list but it is really up to you!

  • do you have to be a booktuber[ ? ] to participate in your challenge?

  • @YARETHZIA Not at all! A good way to keep track of your challenge is through goodreads if you have an account. But that is just the I wanna read x amount of books this year. If you want to participate in the other challenges than all you have to do is keep track of them! :) THey're for everyone!

  • Great lists! And the noise at the end made me jump, lol.

  • @YaBookReviewer Sorry! We didn't mean to scare you! lol

  • yu hav not read shiver?

  • @MrRorosuri Sure haven't! Is it something we should be picking up soon? I've heard mixed things about it!

  • Love this<3

  • @WilddHearts Glad you enjoyed it! :)
