i saw him play live in Portland Oregon way back around 2002-3. I can't remember the date exactly. It was in the pub on SE Belmont around 32nd or 33rd. That seems like a lifetime ago. The place was standing room only. He had this song where he would play a guitar riff using a little toy plastic novely guitar which made these little heavy metals riffs when you hit a button. Pure genius. I'll need to visit Portland again.. Havent' been there for years. what life like in portland these days?
Portland is awesome, a little provincial town with lots of bridges, and a thriving yet a little weird city despite the unemployment rate.
