  • ur a genious but ihave a question how long did it take for yu to recover n if yu had the choice would yu go back in time and never smoke weed?

  • Has your brain recovered over the years?

  • take it out of your yesterday and you wont need it today, is a very powerful statement. im quitting smoking and repeating that statement is going to help me a lot. thank you. check out my videos on my channel of me trying to quit. i for sure will link people to your videos.

  • why would you quit?

  • whats your email or comment me back bro. It's been iver a month!

  • weed has been shown to trash up ur hippocampus and amygdala, both parts of ur brain involved in memory. studies have shown in long term smokers that these areas are significantly shrunken.....the result: reduced short term to longterm memory conversion, so u might remember something for 4 days (short term memory, if ur weeded out working memory even allows for this!). but after a week, it so much harder to retain the memory than u would if these areas wernt shrunken.

  • @sciencestudent342 Through anecdotal advice there is no doubt that it effects the short term memory of users, however no study has been conclusive to proving the theory.

  • @doreilly15 well i have read studies, case controlled, showing mri scans, so no, its not anecdotal. u need to research on pubmed.....its just about recruiting enough peope into studies like this to bring the results into significant enough differences and so become ""conclusive""

  • @sciencestudent342 I've read those studies, and I have read others that show no damage after MRIs. I've also seen studies of PET scans (measuring blood flow) after prolonged abstinence showing no change. As well as studies showing effects of abstinence of CB1 receptors which returned to normal function. So yes I do believe the studies are contradicting, and render the results inconclusive.

  • @sciencestudent342 well i think you should read a little bit more and not pick the first paper u see on pubmed coz i have seen different, and like i said above, inconclusive due to lack of statistical power, so ye, sing a nice tune to yourself if u like lol, and i'll sing this one, and btw, u say ive read the studies i have, do u realise how many studies are done?i didnt even give u the i.d, anyway, kiss ur amygdala and hippocampus goodbye,i think ill keep hold of mine.

  • And for all you guys who say weed isnt addictive...you probably havent been smoking long enough..give it a few years and youll see..all the older heads now the problems that follow.ive tried to quit many times before and relasped many time..im done with it.i dont need it and if you feel like me and this guy you dont need it either..dont diss,he speaks the truth.

  • Ive been smoking bud for 7 years.i wasnt sure if anyone could relate to the way I was feeling.burntout and depressed going nowhere.im 25 and im in the same place as when I started.ive watch all youre vids and youve inspired me..ive been wanting to quit the last 2 years and get my life started.5 days sober.thanks bro and write me back

  • Your videos are helpful. It's nice to see someone who came out the otherside a better person

  • Why would you want to quit smoking weed?!

  • You're exactly what I was looking for on youtube. Thank you!

  • mountains are better tru red eyes..

  • @Riddin4Pac what do you mean?

  • @HockeyAdvice He was trying to say, "Mountains are better through red eyes."

I don't agree with him. I'm about to quit smoking weed today.

  • @Riddin4Pac

you argue like his friend ''i was sober that morning- and that wasnt better''...
