My fav. I was Commodore, the baby that dies. Am 55 living in Texas. My picture is on her makeup table later in the movie when she is in San Francisco. Mom said she and John Ford were very nice. The Duke was not. Swearing at me as I would sit up or throw my bottle. GD Ham he called me.Still have that 8 by 10 autographed by Miss O'Hara, the premiere invitations and tickets. No autograph of the Duke. Made $10. LOL
This is such a great film, only too bad so much of Ms.O'Hara's work was left on the cutting room floor.
This scenes is so good, the lovely misery as she comes in the door, the miss America pose and the comment at the end; "I think you're getting a bit too big for your drawers" haha - classic!
