  • so......many..... AMAZING...... memories

  • Dudes a pro!

  • freaking love the music (Castlevania 2)

  • BLOODY TEARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • That mummy got owned XD

  • Is there any reason why this stage is called stage A and not stage 10 (or stage X since they're using roman numerals)?

  • man a friend of mine watched your video and said that SCV4 sucks because it's "too hard" and that you used cheats... i punched him in the face.

  • @roman6a Cheats? I guess when I got hit I simply forgot to have my invincibility cheat activated? Haha.

  • @roman6a it sucks beacuse its too hard?

men, your friend sucks at gaming

  • @pollotierrez ikr, yeah he sucks ass at everything but we often play some doom matches and other stuff, he ain't a bad guy he just played way too much cod

  • @roman6a COD absorbs your ability and drains your skill

  • @pollotierrez true, you play it for some seconds and you will forget everything you knew about any other game, it's just a vampire that leechs out of your steadiness and fast reflexes on other games and destroys your brain with subliminal messages (not true but it sure lowers your IQ) the point here is, do not play CoD, it sucks ass.

  • @roman6a i played cod for a time when i was 12, but i played counter strike, and i forgot COD from that moment

  • @roman6a also, on march on this year i played castlevania circle of the moon, from that month i forgot everything about shooters for a while

  • This makes you look like speedy gonzoles and me look like slowpoke rodrigez.

  • Mummy: You fell for my trap fool!

Trevor: No you fell for MY trap, bitch! *owns*

  • @GarlandFraser OBJECTION! That's Simon, not Trevor!

  • @GarlandFraser FAIL!!!!!!!!

  • @halodystroyer44 not fail, the TRAP was actually Trevor in a Simon suit.

  • @GarlandFraser lmao

  • I have NEVER got a spining chill from a song but this one!

  • love the music...and u took out the boss so quickly, well done

  • 2:47 What a horrible night for sound changing

  • Well played. Loved the end.

  • epic freeze frame jump at the end

  • WHAT A HORRIBLE NIGHT TO HAVE GENITAL HERPES DESTROYING YOUR SOCIAL LIFE.

  • Now, that's a videogame!

  • I hate the CLock Tower, its the most anoying place of every Castlevania, but as i hate it i need it, cause a Castlevania game without it wouldnt be the same.

  • The one thing I'd like to know is since the music is so awesome, why didn't you do the moonwalking. I can't play this level without doing the moonwalking at least five times.

  • I completed this for the first time ever last night. I was in a painkiller trance and I only died twice throughout the entire thing. I was so pround of me. But yeah this game kicks ass

  • i still have the original SNES cartridge...brings tears to my eyes, i think it was like 12 years ago i first played this. the waltzing ghost couple boss left me speechless

  • i will say even though symphony of the night is a great game my favorite will always be 4 its just plain straightfoward castlevania and i like it that way

  • Love this level! It has Simon's Quest music! Good game!

  • You got lucky as hell at 1:19.

  • how do you whip faster than me?

  • I FUCKING HATE THIS LEVEL, musics awesome though.

  • is the cross your favorite sub-weapon

  • @monsterbattl There's a high probability.

  • really good job on the level dude!

  • When I clicked this video, I thought it said "Cock Tower."

  • WTF !!! You just ra***ed the stage boss , the poor thing didn't stand a chance :D

  • 1:17 its hard for me to get passed that sometimes

  • don't really see how you can call this fake? i play this level very similar to this, once you've played this game a ton of times like i have and looks like this guy has then you know the pattern of the enemies

  • Level = Awesomest

Song = The BEST videogame song EVER written

It blew me away in Simon's Quest when I first popped the cartridge in the NES (after having blown on the circuit side, of course, to get it to work) but when I heard it redone in SC4 it took on a whole new dimension of Winningness

  • But this only on the first play through, where you don't get as many monsters, when you play through again there is a lot more stuff trying to kill you. It is impressive though.

  • EPIC LEVEL! +

    EPIC music! =

An epic part in one of the best games.

  • My 2nd favorite game of all time. 1st is Super Mario Bros. 3

  • I had this game for my SNES and played it for weeks resetting every time I died,, until one fateful day I finished the whole game from the opening drawbridge to defeating Dracula,, all with one life. I reset it so many times and played through the levels that I eventually knew what was behind almost every candle. To this day I still know most of them. Love this game and still play it time to time, thanks for posting this video.

  • some sort of generator do the job.i dont believe this

    fake!

  • @luckytom13 Do what now?

  • @luckytom13 What BeholdMyStrength said.

  • @luckytom13 derp? derp derp derrrr?

  • @Remugsum fu93 you!

  • @luckytom13 I'm sorry, I don't speak idiot

  • Man..who is the architect for these buildings? l wanna have loads of stairs and stone platforms in my house.

  • @1shoryuken i think only chuck norris could desing the clock tower... it's awsome

  • 0:58 the music totally matches the badass mood of the time... (:0

  • I'd really like to see someone playing the Second Quest. >:)

  • ok. YOU just got a subscription from me there, Strength person. Good work.

  • Emulators make the game easier, I did it without loosing a life. I downloaded it on WII, it seems a lot harder.

  • I wish I could find an MP3 for bloody tears, it's so awesome... yet so unavailable T_T

  • @HakoroNui if you get the emulator and run the game on the compy, all the music is available in the options menu at the start of the game,,, there must be some sort of sound capture program you can use to record an mp3..I have never tried it,, but I mean really..there should be something

  • One day I will complete this, one day I've got it on my snes and one day I will own it - one day - one day soon!!!!!!!

  • Good job man!

  • This level is fuckin sick.

  • Bloody Tears is so damn epic *_*

And good work playing this stage :)

  • YES! The bloody tears song I was searching for! This is why I love super castlevania 4

  • Are you this awesome in Super Metroid?

  • @AllHailLunesta Of course! Haven't you heard? I'm the crazy bastard that took on Super Metroid Impossible.....and won! haha

  • cool, bloody tears ^^

  • that epic a music deserves to be on the final stage

  • Very nice playthrough of this stage BMS!

when i did my video for this stage it didnt go as well haha

  • I can play this good as long as I don't get distracted and make a dumb mistake. I've learned that in games like this if you learn certain routines and memorize things (as opposed to just winging it) you can do really well. For example, I still don't understand why people say the first Contra is hard.

  • agreed the series became harder later

  • the end position when u get orb is AWESOME!!!!

  • 3:05

The position left has kicked the mummy´s ass!

  • I play this game on the emulator. When I get to this Clock Tower stage, my computer crashed. I was like "Wha...NOOOO!!!". Well, at least they have a password.

  • Agreed, it is just fantastic. Quite epic to say the least.

  • Dude you are a GOD you handle those jumps perfectly!!!! IT DOESN'T EVEN LOOK LIKE YOUR TRYING!!

  • LOL at that skeleton at 1:18

I just throw 3 crosses at it before I even see the ledge and thus far its always worked.

    You're good, nice video!

  • The part of the music that starts at 0:58 is pretty epic. I miss music like this made specifically for the game. I always turn the music off in newer games esp sports ones cause it's just one shitty band after another.

  • LOVE the music of this level. God I miss this game.

  • It is maybe just me but I liked the CV2 verston of the tune better.

  • Do you know what would rock? A remake of this game. Or a brand new CV game with the classic formula.

Those Metroidvanias are awesome and all, but I miss playing the classic ones.

  • the closest remake (back then on the PlayStation) was Castlevania Chronicles. Basically, it was just an updated version. And I totally agree: there should be a new CV game using the good old 2-d side scrolling whip toting vampire whooping action! :-)

  • This was one of the best SNES games out there. Truly epic!

  • the series became too similar to Metroid after this game (curse you Alucard!)

  • I guess I should say "As of SOTN" so no one gets pissed off at me in confusion.

  • u have inspired me to play the game again on the orignal snes thnx

  • triple cross = pwnage.

  • Behold the almighty BLOODY TEARS! Best version in existence played on the best level.

  • XD You're so godly in this level, you make it look easy! I can barely make it out of there without using save states. Everytime I watch this I become more impressed.

  • Castlevania has certanly evolved since the first games on the NES. Super Castlevenia 4 had it all, rotating rooms, etc. Fantastic.

Nothing like a trip up the clock tower though.

  • Damn you're good!

  • For me, this version of Bloody Tears is best because it harkens to early cinema in my mind. It has this "You've heard this before, and harder" form to it. It seemed nostalgic even when it was new. That and occuring late in the game.

Also, thanks for including the little map portion before the stange, I always liked that and the music that went with it.

  • Did you play this yourself? You're really damn good if you did.

    Jusayin.

  • Yup, t'is all me. That's what playing this game since childhood will do..haha.

  • @BeholdMyStrength i wish i were you pal

  • Bloody Tears for the ULTIMATE win

  • this game really did make me angry until i got older lol

  • This really takes me back to my childhood. :)

  • Yes, he used SNES9X, you can tell by the state load.

SNES9X has an AVI recording feature. That's how he did it.

  • How do you get it? Can you just GOOGLE it? Is it a big file to download?

  • Google is always your friend. No they're not big files at all.

  • I put this game on school computers back in 2000, and the download was quick then.

But you can get it on Wii, if you have one.

    I did, $8 well spent.

  • easiest boss in the game

  • This game features my favorite version of this song, as well as my favorite version of Vampire Killer and Beginning. Awesome game.

  • I love Castlevania. It's so mysterious strange, and ancient. My favorite arena is the Clock Tower.

  • i don't know

but when u hear this for first time

    is so cool

because u feel like a great battle it's comming

    (and u only fight a fucking mommy...errr...mummy)

  • This rendition of Bloody tears has GOT TO BE the most "epic"(hate using that word) cover of Bloody Tears in the ENTIRE series.

Nothing will top the awesomeness of this version.

It adds the eprfect mood for Super Castlevania 4 which IMO is the scariest/eeriest game in the series.

    Why?

The atmosphere, the music, the stages for God's sake!

I'd probably sh*t my pants if i was in an abandoned courtyard at midnight.

Give this game a try, you will seriously NOT be disappointed.

  • I agree with this 100%, even if you did use the word "epic"..haha. Not a big fan of using that myself. Even if it is fitting for this song and game.

  • Indeed. Such an overused word that has lost its true meaning.

Nowadays, everything is epic, the word has gone stale...

Can't distinguish between crappy or "epic"

Seriously though, the soundtrack in this game has to be the most serious, eeriest in the series, it greatly adds to the experience.

  • Hmm, didn't know this song had such a big following. :P I love it.

  • loved this game but i never got past the 3d level with that three headed monster those damn fish things kept killing me- .- Great game nuntheless :)

  • The theme for this stage is so badass.

  • you raped that bitch! :D

  • I've played alot of castlevania games including: CV4, Dawn of Sorrow/Aria of Sorrow, Sotn, Cotm. Beat all of them and am still real good as well. Great vids! love this game a ton! got it for my Snes.

  • Why are some people so freaking good at playing Castlevania?? I die at least a thousand times before I get to the next level :O

  • Probably because, like me, they've been playing the series for most of their life. :-)

  • Castlevania is one of those games where you just keep on getting better, I remember dying a thousand times in the third level in SCIV, but now I can make it to the 5th level without a death. =D

  • it really isn't hard ...just die ...then don't make that mistake again

  • nice vid you're pretty good at the game, it's my favorite version of bloody tears as well

  • The harmonic the music at the beginning, and the kickass music at the gameplay...

    Both are Bloody Tears

  • I thought this place was frustrating, but little did i know of the harsh challenges that were still to come.

  • ahhh yes wonderful memories untile i sold them then i bought 1 throught 4 on wii shop channel

  • 4 castlevanias are epic 1 castlevania IV 2 castlevania sotn 3 castlevania curseod darkness and 4 castlevania lament of inocence

  • love this game... classic, epic

  • this music is epic!

  • In my opinion there are only 3 Epic Castlevanias:

    Super Castlevania IV

Akumajo Dracula - Chibi no Rondo (Castlevania - The Rondo of Blood )

Castlevania - Symphony of the Night

The other are 'only good' .

    Oh yeah, I almost forgot:

    Richter Belmont is badass...

Dante and Snake are nothing compared to him...

  • ...and my grammar sucks -.- ;)

  • You suck for saying this.

  • the best song of the game

  • Ahh posing for the end of stage orb. classic

  • i really hope the new one for ps3 is 2d. take castlevania back to its roots! i hate it in 3d

  • Agreed, it's cool how a lot of the CV4 fans are saying that now.

  • :( why can't video games these days be this good with their music? Fucking uninspired game developers these days.

  • Oh my god this brings back memories. I Loved this song and Loved the Game. I Played it sooo many times. That reaper was the fucking hardest for me.

  • lol this is NOT my favorite level... stupid medusa heads...:(

  • Hehe me too,Clock tower always so annoying with medusa head lol

  • that bass line is infectious

  • belo belo belissimo

  • brings back memories!

    awesome work

  • why didn't nathan or juste have the directional ability...

  • best video game music ever!

  • luv the song used here "bloody tears" castlevania 2 simons quest...

  • What a game! :D

  • this is a game that should be remade but still stay in 2D concept :) it would rock! :D its the best castlevania game ever

  • pff, try to only use the whip on this fucker, it's quite a challenge!

  • why is there a mummy hanging out on the face of a giant clock tower anyway?

  • Meh, you know it's got to be pretty hot in all those rags, he was probably just hangin' out up there to get some air...then Simon came along and whipped his ass...well literally. Ah, just another day in the life of Akmodan...lol

  • whipped than wiped? lol was an awesome game I refuse to shell out 50+ bucks for a game when I can get the classics which are way better anyway for cheap

  • wow, looks good I'm just watching to c if it;ll be a good game to download on virtual console

  • It is, Super Castlevania IV is an excellent game. In my opinion it's on of the best games for the SNES. The music and atmosphere are way ahead of it's time. So whether or not it makes a difference, I highly recommend it!

  • my fav part of the game is,w hen you go to face Death. and how those statues light up one by one as you pass them. btw, that is by far teh hardest and best looking Death in any castlevania

  • it reminds me so hard on my childhood, only awesome this level!

  • one of the best castlevanias ! i've seen a lot of your videos, pretty good !

  • such a great game

to bad they screwed up the series with irrelevent and crappy rpg's

  • Yeah, I'm a big fan of the Castlevania series, and I think the Castleroids are decent games, but I enjoy the classic style much more, and wish they'd go back to it!

  • Amen. The formula worked so well. Who cares if linear platformers are simple if so many of them are good? Stupid game designers nowadays...

  • Yeah, when I first came around to Youtube, basically looking for runthroughs of various Castlevania games, I saw a lot of Castlevania 3D games along with the Castleroid or Metroidvania (interchangeable words) games like SotN, which is awesome but I like games like this the most when it comes to CV series. A lot of people are talking about never going back to using the classic formula, and if Konami listens to that, then that's a shame. The classic formula worked best!

  • @WarriorWithNoPurpose agreed. If they ever did a game with Julius Belmont set in 1999 ad. They should have it the classic formula.

  • @WarriorWithNoPurpose

both formulas work. i have played casltevania 1, 3 , 4, and rondo; then symphony of the night, aria of sorrow, dawn of sorrow, portrait of ruin and order of ecclesia. and i loved all of them. imo both the classic and new formulas work outstandingly. i might have a slight preference over sotn's formula, but that doesn't mean i'd get very excited to see a new retro-style castlevania.

  • Yeah but this version craps all over the NES versions. It would be nice to return to the classic formula for once, but not with the NES difficulty.

The only classic CVs I enjoy are 1 and 4 because their difficulty is acceptable.

  • 1:20... I know u were hoping not to fall down. haha

My SNES just broke. That's probably why I'm watching this video

    *runs off & cries*

  • It's a shame they didn't use this music again for when you had to Fight Dracula.

  • I love this level's music.

  • Damn, you're good!

  • Man I love this game

  • Yeah, Triple-boomerang FTW!

  • The best!!! I like you-BEHOLDMYSTRENGTH

  • lol thanks

  • Boomerabg is very best. And three boomerangs...

  • Dang this brings back the memories, excellent game! One of my two all-time favorites along with Super Metroid. Nice playing and thanks for sharing the vid!

  • Oh man, me and my brother used to play through this level to see who get get through it without dying and with the most points. Loser had to do the dishes!!

  • Magnificently played

  • one of my all time fav video games..i still play it.everything about it is badass. even though my super nintendo has been through alot, it still works!! :)
