Well I like the fact that you took the time to explain how you did the effect but I didn't think it looked that great. When a gun shoots the whole screen shouldn't flash, when someone shoots a gun around you do you see a flash of light everywhere? I never have. If anything the "flash" would come from the barrel of the gun. And the explosion-looking thing coming out of the barrel was way too fake. Just my opinion, not trying to be a dick.

well what u have to do is get a balloon, tape it to ur body, then someone pushes it and it spews up. Watch my video 'Who killed Ali Bubba?' to see what i mean! Oh and u need fake blood.

can u please give me a reply on how i can make this work....well i bought the c/fx picture in clip for 3 dollars, but if i want to put a muzzle effect near the end of the certain clip and i try to add the muzzle effect, it will be on my clip throughout the ENTIRE video. i then tried to use the "effect in" "Effect out" things but those didnt even change anything... :(

you have to split the clip twice. so you have one clip that is only like 3 frames long and thats the clip you add the muzzle flash to.

How do you make the white background of the image go away on the picture in clip effect? I've been using that pic in clip effect and I was wondering what image-blend mode you set it to so the white backgorund doesnt show. Can you please tell me? Thanks.

It kind of depends...I usually use either screen or multiply. Best thing to do is just play around with each mode and see which one looks best.

yeah it was all done in imovie. if you buy a macbook go to the mac website and download iMovie 6 cuz the new version of iMovie sucks.

You add the "Picture-in-Clip" effect to the rest of the clip. The muzzle flash is the picture you see flash at the end of the gun.

You get a picture of blood and insert it the same way you did with the muzzle flash. Just add the picture of the blood to the rest of the clip instead of only the 3 frames.
