@neurotyrant Jesus Christ was a historical figure who claimed to be the Son of God who fulfilled every prophecy about him given hundreds of years before he was born. The entire new testament is the testimony of many people who claimed he did miracles, and after he died on the cross, claimed they saw him raised from the dead. Many of Jesus followers were stoned, persecuted, a killed b/c they refused to stop preaching about Jesus. ask yourself are we just one big accident that came from nothing?

You people claim to have all the answers because you've read the Bible and believe in "God." @neurotyrant The only thing I can tell you is I believe the bible not just b/c it "made sense" to me, but because I have a personal relationship with the Lord. He has radically changed my life. I don't believe in "blind faith." When I take steps of faith the Lord backs it up and answers me. When I see a sunset or something incredible in nature, I can't call it an accident.

@neurotyrant My family are survivors of the genocide war in Rwanda (developing country in Eastern Africa) of the mid-90's. When my mother was hiding from the troops who had plotted to kill her (and unfortunately had already killed most of my family) she called on the name of the LORD. My mom said, "Jesus, if you can just bring me out of this, I will praise your name forever." My mom is alive and well, so is my father, and two older sisters who were toddlers during this. Jesus hears EVERY prayer.

If what you say is actually true and the "Lord" hears EVERY prayer, then please explain the Holocaust. How many of those people do think prayed for deliverance and instead were tortured and killed in the most horrific ways possible? Can't explain? Didn't think so.

Remember that a lot of the people during the Holocaust did not die. It is unfortunate, but those people are in a better place. If GOD brings people up to Heaven, does that mean he doesn't care about us? Of course not. This could go on and on and on. My advice to you is to just keep an open mind. Ok, bye :)
