  • hey man, great guitar , great playing great sound. what wqupment do you use with your tele ? amp, pedal? thanks Berh

  • @berherbi im no expert but, try putting a boss overdrive or bluesdriver pedal through a marshall on the clean setting with low gain, medium level bass & treble and relatively high mids. Then just fiddle with the tone/drive options on the OD pedal

  • @properbo88 thanks a lot berh

  • you are one of the best guitarist I have ever seen in my life, I hope that I could meet you one day.

  • Very cool man!!!

  • marty liked this! this should be cool!

  • Dropping that guitar only adds to the vintage sweetness.Don't know why on earth Big Papa shaved that stache. Big mistake. Probably the wife. It's always the women. Just sayin'.

  • 2 people can't grow a mustache

  • I have now seen all the videos of papa stash with guitarjamz and please for god sake don't stop posting more:)

  • That looks like so much fun! I haven't played guitar in like for ever xD I need to start playing again! :D Um btw, that guitar looks pretty old. How old is it? 0.o

  • reminds me of a Joe Walsh riff...or two. cheers

  • I would like to know what amp your using. I use a fender supersonic, I'm going to try and emulate your tone cause I really like it.

  • @thomhassan666 Dude, he's showing you just how to do it... you don't need tabs to figure this out... it's very basic and easy stuff that sounds great. Just watch the vid a few times and you'll get it.

  • Nice playing.... that's hauntingly similar to my style.

  • good though

  • This makes me want a tele and a stache.

  • gold from 10:00 on...

  • VERY, VERY GOOD LESSON. I'd like to see more from you my friend.

  • This was very educational. It's funny how I didn't even realize the connection between chords and scales. This totally opened my eyes, now I have something to focus on. Great video, thanks!

  • That was great! I have a feeling I'm going to be watching this one a lot- there's tons of info. Thanks!

  • Um. That was absolutely epic. You quite literally rock. What a lesson. Wherever Marty goes, there's a Party.

  • Great lesson--perfect step up in difficulty from some of the other stuff without being too hard. And it sounds great.

    Also I love my tele.

  • Nice lesson Ben Stiller.

  • This is great, however to slow down just a tad would be more helpful and not to skip around too much. Learned a lot, not proficient yet. Hope you will have more lessons available. Thanks!

  • I want papa stach's signature telecaster and marty's signature les paul....

  • thank you, that was incredibly informative!

  • +1 on what is the album and band name???

  • teach three days grace

  • Great lesson, great guy, great mustache.

  • Great lesson. I'm still learning this shit, you gave me some new tools. Thanks

  • Whatever trainwreck happened at 12:46 we'd like to see it.. Your playing is kinda intimidating I'd love to know you're human..

  • Love the telecaster mr handlebar moustache.

  • So really, how long should it take a beginner to get to this level of playing (assuming that I DON'T have 3 hours a day, every day, to practice)?

  • @m444ss 3 years-ish maybe. maybe longer.

  • @m444ss Depends how much you practice and how good your teacher, if you don't have one. Find a good one, if financially possible

  • The best thing i took away from this is how close the major pent scale box is to the a root string bar chords..wooo awesome. Thanks yet again!

  • Brett Papa !! Your Baaack !! :D

  • That is a great sounding tele!

  • Great Video and tutorial. Very useful stuff, with great rhythm feel. I will for sure be using this. Thanks.

  • I must-ache you a question. How long did that beauty take to grow?

  • Excellent Intermediate lesson . Thanks Much .

  • i'm such a noobster at this .-.

  • wait didnt we already have this lesson? i remember enjoying this riff before!

  • Good lesson... and the Mustache is Awesome, it look SO good... Do girls like it ?

  • His mustache is what makes him so good. His mustache generates so much chi, that it can't hold it all and sends the leftover to his hands.

  • sweet moustache!

  • When will my fingertips quit hurting?

  • @Robert4937 how long have you played? i have for several years and it stopped after a bout a year of hard playing

  • you say catch a "g" but it sound like the "A" note

  • @lookylooky2006 Pretty sure he's talking about the G String, not the G note :)

  • Sounds a little bit like Travelling Riverside Blues by Led Zeppelin.

Great lesson and nice mustache, thank you.

  • that Tele sounds really awesome

  • wow, love it keep em coming!

i'm a beginner/intermediate, and your lessons keep me moving forward, thanks

  • great stuff. thank you

  • so can i use a minor pentatonic on a major chord?

  • @less2094 he used A major but the F# pentatonic minor can be used as well because they are relatives or simple share the same notes but in a different order.

  • @less2094 yes, but you must try to hammer the major 3rd like he does in the A string, from C to C#

  • @less2094 And he also does it in the G string

  • awesome

  • You mentioned an album. What's your bands name? Release date?

  • Sweet lesson! This is exactly what an intermediate player needs to spice up their playing. You're a great teacher. Really. You're fantastic.

  • Good for you, your mustache got you a girlfriend.

  • This lesson made me have to poop. So I did. In my pants.

  • I had a moustache too... then i got a girlfriend...

    Bitch.
