The conduct of the Russian troops was good for the most part but the Ossetian militiamen looted. There's no love lost between Georgians and Ossetians. Just to make things clear there were 3 groups involved in this. The Russians, S Ossetians and Georgians. The conduct of the Russian troops was good for the most part but the Ossetian militiamen looted. There's no love lost between Georgians and Ossetians. There is also reports of Georgian soldiers taking civilian vehicles in their panic to escape.

Western media often portray Georgians as victims of a war they started but how bout actually do the right thing and show the real victims of this aggression - the Ossetians in the first 24hrs and how they were awaken to Georgian tanks rolling in and MLRS blowing everything up. These were defenseless people...sure perhaps some had Ak-47's but who doesnt in the post Soviet era. Ossetians relied on Russia to save them because noone else would and for that I congratulate and salute the Russians :)
