The Coral have been the most consistent British band of the last 10 years, and alongside the Libertines, the best. Well underrated, beautiful, beautiful songs.
dunno lad... I've been waiting for such a band to come in me life for ages, can't live without them. r u from the Pool or Wirral area? Kind regards from the Netherlands
i've lived in london for the last twenty years but i grew up in cheshire...the country part of north west england...i still like the mystic romanticism of the north west - including 'the smiths', 'the beatles' and 'joy division'...i wouldn't put 'the coral' in quite the same class - but they were bloody good while they lasted...i think that the guitarist was especially talented and maybe that caused friction in the band - and, sadly, he left in a huff....happens all the time, alas.
i cant explain,you know what i mean
