I'm technicaly not a begginer (I play for about a year but I'm not so good...) but I play with my thumb touching the six string (and the fifth string when I play the D chord), and I've seen that many guitar players (some teachers on youtube, some people doing covers, proffesional players...) do it like that. Does it affect my playing or it's just not so important?
