I think he spoke very well in that interview and that was three years ago. He finished 13th last year in a Cup race in his only race and was a start and park so far this year - probably without sponsorship. The only thing that is unbelievable is you questioning his integrity to race. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to drive a race car.
if im right steve was the only driver to survive when nascar brought out the tarp to cover steve when he was being cut out of his car. he did more than "bruise his brain"
he fractured his skull and he was put in a coma and almost died, he's had a screw loose ever since
steve was so unlucky with his injurys..its really a shame what has happened to DEI i really wonder what it would be like if dale was still around...maybe michael dale and steve would all still be there

went to school with steve,5th& 6th grade,he was the first kid i knew to have a 5 speed bike so the teacher called hin 5 speed.. he moved up to a rupp mini bike where he took me for a wild ride over a sidewalk ramp we were airborn,had alot of fun with steve,,the best driver ever!

Steve Park's fate is just waiting to bite someone like Busch, Edwards, etc....all these guys that keep going into lower series...just look what happened to Park because he went to a lower series..his career was wrecked.
Wendy made a little mistake on her research. Robby Gordon actually made the first cup start for DEI, driving the #14 Racing For Kids car at Charlotte!
Steve was a fine driver, injuries hurt him especiially that hellacious carsh where a car hit him under caution at Darlington where he was just coasting around.
@vidEvWill You didnt see the crash. PArk turned down in front of the car that hit him because he had a mechanical issue. He was not just coasting around.
i met him last year with his ex girlfriend at danfords hotel after tommy baldwin's golf outing. what a nice guy. i would have never known he was getting married to someone else... does he fool around... MUCH???
steve is a good guy meet him the dude is just great with his fans on and off the track

By the way: Steve Parks win at Watkins Glen ended a 6 straight road cours win streak by Jeff Gordon, so it was special for all in NASCAR.

His words are running together like someone who has had a stroke or brain injury.. It's unbelievable he has been cleared to drive in any series.
Kinda reminds me of Ernie Irvin after his near fatal crash in 95.
