  • They aint using a syntheiziser at all.

  • fuck'n love enter shikari, can't wait too get it

  • the new stuff goes in the DnB direction somewhat.

    But ES is awesome nonetheless

  • great song! im hlad thev've made a new one and a newish theme

  • Comment removed

  • FUCKING GREAT! HAHA. Lovin the bangin keyboard part at the intro and end.

  • i hope they come to pinkpop

  • this is a joke yeah?

  • No, I think it's a song. A great one at that!

  • ah, kinda like a weird al yankovic song?

  • fuck off mate

  • touchy :P

can everyone do me a favour and imagine these guys without their synth?

then listen to some other popular band that has no synth. the you might see where im coming from...

  • that makes no sense, that's the whole point of putting synth in there to be different and they fucking merk it every time

  • lol i think the rock genre has reached the stage where having synth no longer makes a band "different". and regardless of how good there synth sounds, they cant play their other instruments for peanuts. PS using slang on the internet doesnt usually work, wtf does merk mean?

  • i think he's joking you retard :L and well if you say having a synth in a rock band isn't diffrent anymore, tell me modern bands that use synths and are better than enter shikari

  • well this will probably start a shit fight being youtube and all, but perhaps underoath could be considered slightly better than enter shikari?

  • depends what you like x

  • thats why i avoided using examples lol

  • @jakericho ummmm....well i love both bands but i wouldnt consider them the same genre so its hard to compare them. but i love ENTER SHIKARI more, soooo yeh haha

haha one time at school me and a couple mates were just walkin thru the halls and we just started singing juggarnauts, then like 10 more people started singing along then it turned into a fucking riot!! ENTER SHIKARI may cause EPICNESS

  • it works if i fucking want it to

    merk means own.

  • The difference is, Enter Shikari can "play their other instruments for peanuts".

  • To all those posting how you prefer the old stuff : "Were sick of the same old story, Tonight the motionless must vacate"......... Enough said!

  • It's the same shit, but with much more keyboard. :D

    It's amazing :)

They are a little bit more different now too.

  • I don't get why people don't understand that bands like to try out different styles of music. If every single future ES album was the same as TTTS, it would be shit boring. You'd want to hear something new, and I for one appreciate this.

Love the old stuff, love the new stuff, pretty much perfect live. See you guys in MK in July :)

  • 3:30 was that supposed to be a breakdown...or what? Hahahaha

  • thanks for being cool about my screw up, lol, other people would have a go at me and get all angry over comments!

  • You cant compare their old album to their new stuff, cus its different kinds of music, luv both tbh, in my opinion, if you dont like their new stuff, you were never really a proper fan, but thats an opinion dont debate about it pleeeeeease :)

  • @mieshybear50 - we will never be sane

  • @breakawaycharlie - once i wrote that i knew it was wrong, lol. soz!

  • WE WILL, WE WILL NEVER BE SAVED!!!!

  • lol its we will never be sane but i thought that too at first dont worry :]

  • fuckin sick!

  • wat happened to there hardcore shit yo this shit is gay homie

  • bands have to grow and change and thats fair enough.

i just cand handle this, i love their first few ep's.

empty is the best song, or score 22.

  • its not bad but, its not like thier older albums.

  • What happened to these guys?

They dropped the "hardcore" from their "trancecore" genre. Now its just shitty trance rock.

  • They've matured.

    New stuff>Old stuff

    InMyOpinion

    Common Dreads was awesome.

    Thumper is pretty interesting.

  • @Hexify7 their new stuff is too different to compare to their old stuff

  • stop using maths symbols to give letters numerical value

  • Those maths symbols you talk about..

    Are called the greek alphabet...

  • they sure did :( lmao there still ok tho

  • Rou saying "YES" it's kind of his thing, no?

  • wish he did his inhales again :(

  • he does them all the time live

  • Can´t hear the guitar! It was swallowed by the electronic stuff! Turn the guitar volume up!!!

  • WOW.

  • so they have a new album coming out already? fucking brilliant! @ rydek dude there not emo a vast majority of their songs even on the old albums are about worldly problems they just arent as direct about it like common dreads

  • enter shikari needs to scream again

  • they still do at their shows, they don't need to, its up to them

  • Well fair few of the tracks have some weird ass screaming. And well its not a rock (Linkin Park) scream more like a dying in pain scream which is normally associated to Emo bands. I like E.S and at the end of the day its my opinion mate i like their newer stuff leave it as that . And well does get shi* after awhile.

  • It's inner screaming, but he doesn't do it any more as it screwed up his voice a bit, yeah it's normally seen in heavy metal bands and emo bands (e.g. backing singer of Bring Me The Horizon)

  • em its not called inner screaming lol. someone knows nothing about vocals. The other guy was right. It is called inhales

  • I love the old stuf but this new stuff is aces. I prefer it less emo sh** and i can actually listen to it and my mates dont mind it. Which to me is music.

  • @RydekSan lol how is there old stuff emo? :P

  • "my mates dont mind it. Which to me is music."

    ...seriously dude...?

  • how the fuk can people sit and call this mainstream like im not sure if theyv lisend to the charts l8ly but i can asure u theres ntn at all like this on it :)

  • I am a big enter shikari fan and i understand people bieng annoyed about them branching off but really its better (in myopinion dont screw kids)

  • the lyrics are stupidly great!

  • Common Dreads is THE BEST full-length they have ever released, so be fucking quiet.

  • @wizdancer thats your opinion! Take to the skies is slightly better in my opinion. However Common Dreads is fucking good.

  • OMFG febury 9th best day of my life

  • @lewbell26 how good was it!

when rou was scaling the balcony when they did zzzonked.

  • I prefer TTTS, but CD is amazing too, and this is less hardcore... which isn't as good tbh, i still like it though :)

    I LOVE SHIKARI

  • @hynesa02 people grow up and expand, you should open up too.

  • true i agree they deserve to branch into whatever they feel like they need, and i know a lot of people prefer their new stuff to their old its just a shame for those who preferred the older stuff

  • yeah, i like the old stuff but i heard it after i heard the new stuff, and people grow up and branch off, the new stuff isn't bad, its just different.

  • i love the old stuff, but then they changed and i was so sad.

  • =[

though admitatly this is better than anything on CD

  • yea this song is still good

  • CD > TTTS

  • @hynesa02 you so write., i love take too the skys, Alothough the new album is class live i love it live., but i could listen too the old enter shikari all day long

  • agreed but i still like both immensely

  • The lyrics are absolutely genius in this song. Enter Shikari have got this spot on.

  • i have to wait for the rescheduled blackpool gig scene as the empress ball room roof was falling apart so they couldnt play :( i am so gutted my saturday night was shit because of that :(:( cant wait for the rescheduled gig though :DD <3

  • @bethanylockett yeh i was there too, went the after show party in the underbar and got wrecked with the band though, skankin my tits off with rob and chris so i guess it had its upsides, cant wait for the rescheduled gig !

  • well done screwmanx, he has done this on like 4 diff vids, he's a nob head, ur such a pathetic prik, keep ur idea's to yourself mate, u obvs didn't shag rou's mum probably another boy hoping its his mum or even rou himself, let down of a band? paha! could u fuck even compete with enter shikari, NO! SO SHUT THE FUCK UP!

  • i lov these lyricssss

"we will, we will never be sane, in an unsane system"

  • this was epic last night in glasgow ;D

  • Played this at the Barras last night. Mental night!

  • they played this last night in glasgow (L)

  • were can i download this from

  • @andimhisfriendjesus

    And what did you expect?

  • he prob means an atempt at dubstep rather than this ear luving stuff :P

  • fucking love it (:

  • Fuckin' awesome. I love this song, the end his totally badass :D

  • Yes,the end is my favorite part!:]

  • seeing them tonight ! better play this (L)

  • goin to see them on tuesday

  • lookin forward ti seein them the night hope they play this it's fuckin good

  • new favourite song ;)

  • i dunno if im feeling this song. but then again common dreads took me a while to get used to. now its one of my favourite albums. definitely getting the album

  • i felt the same way. it was a whole new Shikari i never expected. but its fucking sick, and i love all there new stuff

( as well as all there old stuff)

  • decent track love it :D

  • Love this song!!

  • AMAZING :D

  • I don't know how enter shikari manage to do this. Every song is so different in style beat and speed and they still maintain some type of sound that we all related to as the "ΣΠΤΣR SHΦΚΔRΦ sound" I look forward to seeing you in empire middlesbrough! you guys really amaze me, keep the great music coming!

  • i like the song...definitely gonna buy the album :)

  • I heart this song :D

  • Funny how people bitch about them not being all screamy and shit, they are older, more mature, and they know what it will take to make it in the industry. They may not scream, but at least now they are actually sending a message to listeners, and just like them, their audience has also matured...for the most part, get your heads out of your metalcore asses and take a second to listen.

  • ES will constantly change its a fact there its just WOW. they make nu kinds of musik that no1s heard thats why they are so big. its like they have u craven for more its why ther my fav

  • @0ofort9o0

theay are expermaental and theay dont make NEW music people have done things like this befor

    and please type corectly

  • they*

    experimental*

    before*

    correctly*

also a lot of missed punctuation

if you're going to ask people to type correctly, at least type correctly yourself mate.

  • @zakcool i fail Lol

yeah i know i just hate it when people type

    "lyk dis"

  • dude quit it dont try nd get technical coz i can talk u under the table if i wanted to also give me 1 example of people that did wat ES did b4 ES.

  • Yet, you can't spell for shit.

Oh how pathetic your life must be.

  • dude i feel sorry for u u musta been raised by a buncha priks if u think not bein able to spell spoils ur life. wat dus spoil ur life is wen u waste time piken at stupid lil floors a person has iv just had a fukin great idea u shud get a job as a teacher ther always looken for suk up priks like u

  • Are you retarded?

    You seem it.

  • I srsly could not read one word of that.

  • tune : )

  • enter shikari may be making a wide variation of types of songs but the point is take it to the skies was fucking awsome this and their common dreads album are nothing compared to it. their gigs are terrible compared to what they used to be like they seem to have just conform with society and leave the screamo behind. :/

  • Exactly... TTTS was the most epic Album. Then they did the Juggernauts single from Common Dreads... and It was like "Why? Why did you have to go mainstream?" What happened to the Epic hardcore-ness yall had? It just left.. now its like Growling singing...instead of Hardcore screaming... Their music isnt even dancecore like it used to be... its just sad..

  • @MustangJohnG

Well actually, if people like you, me and whoever know about their music, it can be considered 'mainstream' anyway

I liked their first album. I also liked their second album, regardless of the fact that it might be somewhat easier to access to people who don't know about them

  • mainstream? are you having a laugh?

most people I know will still listen to Shik and claim it's all screaming and shouting. So Enter Shikari are releasing songs as singles now and making videos and gaining more fans, is there something wrong with that? This is their livelihood afterall. They make amazing music and were obviously going to get more fans eventually. Their music is better now IMO, it has more substance and depth and meaning and I've listened to Shikari since before TTTS.

  • i'm pissed off that fans like me have just been pushed out the door in the name of "progress"

people who thought the CD was their first album and people that have never heard TTTS ot TZ yet call themselves hardcore shikari fans

i know that bands will change, but this isn't change its complete redesign of their music from songs like return to energiser then going onto hetic thats two diffrent bands

  • @b3nnyp33 fans shouldnt have the right to tell band wat they should or shouldnt do otheirwise they would end up like the jonas brotheir

i listened to ttts and the zone they were the first album iv heard from enter shikari and they were great they grew on me but i couldnt see any possibility of them making a new album from it

the guitar and bass were repetitive

and song had complicated meaning that werent fully understood and mixed views

and this new music is great and it original

  • i Emailed Enter Shikari on myspace.

i asked why hey didnt play there old old stuff any more.

i got the best reply ive heard.

"old songs. got to move forward. onward, ever onward

    x"

  • they still play a lot of their older stuff live anyways, it's always a good mix

  • @dressmeandplaywithme - "conform with society and leave the screamo behind"??? grow up son. screamo is the most conforming and straight genre there is. it has its strict rules, and if you break those rules you are cast out. sounds like a pretty straightlaced society structure to me.

  • Get told.

  • @dressmeandplaywithme - Ouch burn. You got told by the band themselves. You should feel honored to have got served by them XD

  • haha nice 1 m8 i stoped lisnen to screamo as much coz its far to fukin samee its why i dig u guys ur summin else that i cant find anywer :)

  • win (:

  • point proven , fair play :L

  • @plasman1 he ment compliments from portugal... not enter shikari are from there.

  • My reaction was the same when I first heard the Common Dreads album. I was like, "What is this?" But now I think its amazing. Probably be the same story with this.

  • they way i see it is, enter shikari is making a very wide veriation of types of songs and some people like others more than others (IE the debate between TttS and CD) if someone wants to listen to songs like from TttS, they will simply listen to that album. if someone likes the sogns from CD, they will listen to CD. i personally love all of them, but i like TttS better than CD, but thats my opinion, ther are meny ppl who agree and oppose,

either way, great song, great band, keep it up!!

  • sorry I can't agree, I don't like it when bands stays the same, a band needs to grow, try new things. well thats what made them big in the first place.

I can see why you would dislike it tho.

  • cant wait for tribalism yet again they come up with yet another sick tune!!!!!!!!!

  • jjjjjiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiizzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

  • DJ McKAY is a JOOSHBAG

  • Compliments for the greatest band from Portugal. Hope they come back soon. ENTER SHIKARI!!!!

  • they are from st. albans UK not from portugal

  • Yeah i know but i'm from Portugal. Sorry if my English is not correct

  • @plasman1 nah, he means 'compliments from portugal FOR the greatest band, give the guy a break! ;D

  • i dont know if anyone agrees but it took me a couple of times to get into this song. NOW I FREAKING LOVE IT!!! been listening to it non stop for 5 days now :|

    not boring yet :)

  • it was just like me man at the beganing the song for me was a litle strange but now i cant stop lienning to ity x)

  • yeah man :D i, love these boys :L people keep complaining tht there crap now they use dub influences and stuff but its like.... there whole idea is being different! so shup :L x

  • actually the whole idea is making music that they believe in and that means something to them. i dont think they necessarily try to be different as such, it's just what they want to make and it just happens to be different.

  • their new stuffs :)

  • That's the same with 'All Eyes On The Saint', at first I was like... "Dude what is this shit?".. Then: "FUCK ME!"

  • we've lost the movement we've lost the beat.

these guys never fail at making a fuckin sick tune!

  • is it just me or does the chorus of this song remind me of the Lostprophets song; "For All These Times"?

  • @thesims2petsrocks I was thinking in my head for days what this reminded me of, the 'No no but you'll never believe no no' bit of 'For All These Times' yeah? Definitely.

  • they are soooo cooool

  • 7th of feb!! :D<33

  • waaaaah waaaah they don't scream as much anymore... waaaah, where are the trance synths?

  • theres like a tiny bit of trancy synth in the background of the breakdown :L ....

    thats about it :/ :(

  • fucking awesome song

    AMAZING !!!

  • i love the gang shouts in the chorus!

  • seeing them tonight!

  • This has really grown on me, see why it didn't make the album though, Shikari can do no wrong.

  • this song is sick!!! its so unique and jammable ;) ahh these guys always being so good :)

everyone who likes em check out our song! go to our page and leave a comment! God Bless !!! :)

  • TttS > CD

  • i think they should have kept there TTTS sounds i really like it. this is pretty good acually really good it just sounds way to much like common dreads to me though

  • this is such a tuneeeee

  • It's funny because for every 1 person that hates Common Dreads, their is at least 100 people that absolutely love it, and no matter what these guys will always have fans, change happens, and for them I think it's happened in the most positive way possible.

  • the title just makes me think of bambi x]

    laav it.

  • I'm not sure why this was a bside from common dreads, i think it should have been one of the proper tracks, it's well good :)

  • it was written after common dreads. its being released on the Tribalism mini album out on the 22nd feb

  • @maxscamper454 this wasn't a b-side, was written after common dreads as a single ;)

  • @CountAbel: FUCK YOU

  • Whoa, did I kill your mother or something? :o

  • I thought Common Dreads was the worst possibly album Enter Shikari could produce.

For some reason, Tribalism seems to be ever worse.

  • True true

  • they are not about dubstep thay are all mix thats why they are the best band ever this song is gr8

  • Never been a bad Enter Shikari track, never will be. This is fuckin' rad. Good work boys!

  • This is one of the only original bands in the whole rock genre at the moment.

    Nuff said

  • I like it alot, keeps the same sort of political message, but combines it with the awesomeness of things from take to the skies.

  • This sounds shit all like TTTS

for one TTTS is good this... not so good

  • AH-FREAKING-MAZING

  • Keep the tempo up keep the pressure on!

    :O more of that please!

  • awesomeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee love itt
