  • J Dilla + Jamiroquai = EPIC win!

  • this was actually produced by Ron E. estill!

  • jazzy!

  • how can u be so sure this is original song produced by j dilla...

  • real artists like this should come up more, the sad thing really is real artists mostly don't get a chance to ......

  • where can I down load this??

  • always liked this song, :)

  • This shit is hott!

  • i agree with the guy who said this was produced by ron estill and i think it has been mislabeled somewhere along the line like the lsk -hate or love remix which was unquestionably produced by ron estill and not dilla

  • @JazzSnobEatSh1t

If "ron estill" produced this track then he's doing his best Dilla impression. This is as dilla as it gets. From the bassline, to the drums, to the melody..

  • @crooklynd95 The kicks in particular don't sound like Dilla. He also has his own way of finely shuffling everything and this doesn't sound like it. Can't be sure though.

  • J DILLA!

  • It also sounds like he's sampling virtual insanity on the strings too. Nice remix.

  • Youtube Downloader man

  • where can i get this?

  • well done.

  • Roburwtll, a dl link for this track... PLEASE??!!

  • I have a remix of this song and its called Black Capricorn Day (Slum Village Remix). It sounds similar to this.

  • @neATL Jay Dee (dilla) was part of the slum village group till 2002... just saying .

    Good track!!

  • ov cors this is official, its on the j dilla anthology volume 5.. and it is a BANGER

  • dilla dawg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • you guys are trippin this is authentic dilla. anything with this much swing is a dilla beat. and he would use these chords. drums are definitely dilla too

  • download link ? plz

  • Is not dilla's style, this beat is too simple ...I don't think is a dilla remix

  • @SinjanBoskoRec This is 110% Cos O've got this on a Dilla anthology album!!!

  • @SinjanBoskoRec This is 110% a real remix, cos I've got this on a Dilla anthology album. Even if I didn't have it, anyone can tell that this all Dilla!

  • i feel like jaykay's vocals are out of key on this

  • wow jay-kay and j-dilla sound on the rocks

  • This jamiroquai remix is the better one

  • haha im black and im a capricorn so i feel special lol

  • @blockymock im too LOL

  • @Sone1985 it's official, check at Discogs

  • This isn't that tight. People are just saying it is because its supposedly Dilla. The vocals sound terrible with that instrumental. Even though the beat is pretty cool...

  • @doodovf fuck yourself in the anus, please.

  • @mantisklp u mad?

  • im feelin his tune big time - summer is finally here!

  • Hey hey hey hey, Get this MONEY! I love this!!

    2 of my Fav's combined

  • Dilla!!!!

  • j.dilla no more words

  • universal sounds :)

  • should have some verses in there nas would sound amazin on it

  • dam not only has jk done stuff with dilla rip but guru to rip. i hope he knows how lucky he is .

  • someone has made this remix, cos it sounds fuckin wack.. dilla wouldnt have let that happen.. so outta tune..-_-..

  • this has always been my favorite over seas group and dilla omg!

  • vocal out of tune with rhodes, lazy

  • @lilfunker86 so where's your label backing? oh wait thats right you're commenting on a DEAD mans beat on youtube like he cares. Dilla owns period, and you just need to suck it up, grow the fuck up, or go back to mainstream music.

  • the vocal is completely out of tune with the rhodes! that shit is lazy

  • no way.. didnt know this was with dillas beat wow!!!

  • Can someone please put the hormonies together. A little tuning this would be a nice cut. Rest in Beats Dilla.

  • I agree the beat is tight 8 , harmony 2

  • love it.

  • so funky

  • This is yummy

  • yo jamiroquai and dilla??!!! damn lol i never knew this was out

  • @SHOGUNX8 talent recognize talent

  • uhm no one hears that harmonies like totally don't match?

  • i agree with you....beat is sick, but its not in tune with the acapella he used.

    PJ GOT A GOOD EAR...

  • @PJ020 I've always thought that,I think it makes the whole song more impressive, doesn't quite fit and doesn't clash...I think thats a hard thing to achieve

  • @PJ020 they are called irregular chords. Music by Dilla and The Ummah and Native Tongue, in fact all Neo Soul or 'alternative hip hop' are distinguished by this particular style. Dilla in particular is known for this (eg 'Look of Love) Research the music before commenting negatively....

  • CAN'T YOU TELL, i'm stuck on a highway, going straiiiight to hell! like any other drifter! with a soul out to selll... you know i'm dealin' with the DEVIL, in everyone i meet, and their faces tell a story, that life ain't so sweet!

  • loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee this !!

  • please understand that he is sampling an earlier Jamiroquai beat for this remix

  • @balancedeath Sampling ''Everyday'' by Jamiroquai for this track, take a listen, it's hot!

  • @Onkojaque oh damn, you got good ears.

  • yeah, an instrumental would be great.

  • This is better than the original, in my opinion, I always thought Jamiroquai was better when they were in a chilled mood, though I still like their upbeat songs.

  • Anyone got the instrumental?

  • its a remix...i don't think they officially collaborated

  • J dilla and Jamiroquai?! when Jay And Jay(K) meet you find the beauty in music RIP J.D.

  • Love Jamiroquai & J Dilla - Best Collab Ever!

  • Yo man can i get that mp3 as well please?

  • download youtube downloader.

    that's how i'm gettin' it..

  • :O

someone get me a barf bag,

coz this track is fuckin sick

  • That was so lame, yet so true :P

  • i heard an other one remix of this track by jdee, do you know where can i found it ? (it's on the jamiroquai's album "rare live and remixed" but it's stockout evrywhere) help please !

  • yep, i downloaded the other j dilla remix on limewire.

  • can you send me it by mail ?!

  • Damn people still use limewire... torrents are so much better, they should rename it spywarewire.

  • are you kidding me??? i've never gotten a virus from limewire, the only way you can get a badfile from limewire is if you download videos or programs. so just stick with music.

torrents fail. no one wants to deal with leeches/seeds and such. its complicated for no reason. And the sites themselves look pretty janky and suspicious.

  • You don't get viruses you get spyware. Often people don't even know because it's exactly that. You get it bundled with music often and you don't notice. The magic with torrents is you can download whole albums or just 1 song and while leeching/seeding can be annoying at times, if you find 1 good torrent you get tons of music with it.

  • i dont seen as every motherfucker seems to just upload everything on youtube i just go on here and download it straight to real player simple

  • smooth. like it.

  • NEED the DL link for this track - anyone???

  • lol, so i gave you the good one i presume?

  • yes.

  • @EmbraceYourGreatness yeah send that my way

  • @EmbraceYourGreatness yes please :)

  • @EmbraceYourGreatness yes where can I down load??

  • Was this an official thing or was it something that someone else put together.

    I like.

  • that's what im wonderin to! if it was a legit track together, shit was slept on like mad!!! 2 artists that just sweat jazz and soul like crazy. one of my favorite acid jazz groups with my favorite hip hop producer, too good!

  • Yea yo if Jamiroquai was still together making music and J Dilla was still alive, musi wouldnt be so fucked up

  • Preach!

  • imagine a jamiroquai and j dilla album like a whole record wow imagine if that had of happened that would of been a masterpiece

  • @djslipdisk This and the other Dilla remix of this song are both official, they were released in Dilla Anthology vinyls and in a Jamiroquai rare remixes CD.

  • first off... those ppl dissing this track are crazy. this version sucks??? really?

anyways, dude, do you have a link for the mp3? looooove this joint. hit me up and lemme know.

    peace.

  • whoever says that this track is not proper obviously has no taste in music. this joint is beyond proper, dilla once again does hsi thing. rip to one of the best prodcuers of all time.

  • Jamiroquai an J. Dilla thats one hell of a collabo not enough stars but 5/5

  • OMG??? i have a different jay dee remix of this song. BOTH are dope but did he really 2 remixes of this song??

  • amazing

  • dilla + jamiroquai =magic

  • @blakey89 Damn right, Jamiroquai should colab with more hip hop groups. So far the only other one I know is Guru(R.I.P.).

  • @steeltownbrown52 jam didnt collab with dilla u dumb twat, he just took his tune and remixed it. anyway jam has defined a genre by his own so it would sound shit if more like this came out. jam is acid jazz, leave it like that, this is absolutely shite!

  • @youcunt11 Jamiroquai is a group not a person. And there is another remix that Dilla did with em', and it sounds like Jay actually lent some of his vocals for that one. Schtupid.

  • @steeltownbrown52 the game's changed now they seem to label all this mainstream 'rap' stuff as 'hip hop' and Jamiroquai are actual musicians so it's unlikely they'd work with the contempirary guys, oldeschoolers like De La, Native Tongues, Soulquarians definitely, but how often do they release nowadays?

  • they have another j dilla version on limewire

  • i dont care who made it. this remix is sick. even if it isn't by dilla it sure as hell sound like its inspired by him. the bassline seems to have dilla's signature on it.

  • Dilla is da sickest producer that ever lived

  • Cross over slam dunk game over

  • duuudee...its a remix of black capricorn day made by dilla.....its not his song but the remix yes...wtf ppl

  • Bassline is so sick!

  • the best remix of jamiroquai.....j-dilla R.I.P. u still #1!!!!

  • j dilla = legend

    R.I.P. J DILLA

  • i just realized he used another Jamiroquai song (my favorite song btw) called "Everyday" as the loop! lol SICNESS!

    ----------------

    and reflect.

  • shit don't harmonize well, shure this shit aint a mash-up?

  • you're crazy.

  • yeah... its right there at the begining.. maybe its just like that... overlookable.. and definitely still dope.. i hate mashups cause cats that do it usually are not musicians so they only focus on matching the beat without any concern for key... but just in case you did secretly mash this up.. GOOD JOB.

    ha

  • That's what I mean..

The vocal is outta tune. You cats gotta notice? Seriously..

Beats phat as hell, but the vocal doesn't match

  • ur an ass

  • argued answer. Free insult. Could you develop?

  • wtf,,,your saying j dilla can't make beats?

thats like saying michael jackson can't sing and dance dude.

J dilla is the best hip hop producer that has lived.

  • I judged this remix especially, not the JDee's ability to make good beats.

No comment for your comparison with MJ. You think what u want about Jdilla.. it's your opinion. I've got mine.

  • I respect that,,,the MJ camparison meant that that comment was as stupid as someboady saying MJ couldn't sing and dance.

  • Don't know about the last statement

  • ???? Man, I need some of the shit you're smoking.

  • what the fuck???you're buggin.

  • I have no words for J-Dilla's work. If this track isn't "FIRE", I don't know what to say to anyone.

  • i do. waved out, fluffy, floaty, spacy , outer-worldly, pop locking, cadillac bumping, space invading, pimped out bad ass shit.

  • OMG I forgot about this joint. WOW. BANGER.

  • yep...

  • yea i got this 12"..shit was sick..

  • i am a very big fan of jamiroquai where i can buy this track released ????,,

  • download it..

  • brilliant

  • Niice groove.Especially since we are in the age of pisces, this groove is just astronomically beyond!

  • Man Jamiroquai is one of my favorite artiest or should I say groups and dilla is one of favorite producers this is like a dream thanks alot for this...

  • J diila is my favorite of all time. I love his sound. It takes me to a place like only he could. Ali Shaheed Muhamed is another who gives me the same feel. I love them.

  • @mrcheereo if you say Ali Shaheed for ATCQ productions, you should know Tip was the producer.

  • D

  • from CHILE les saluda KBC fan numero 1 de este tipo de beats. ¡j dilla you are amazing!

  • So weird that Dilla remixed Jamiroquai of all groups huh. Just shows the man really could do whatever he wanted. I can't say the same about most producers too.

  • you will never hear quality like this on the radio. there is so much great music that even barely gets played...if u look for it though, it's plenty there

  • And THIS is why my channel exists! I try to put the most slept on stuff up for others to hear!

  • wow..!!

    I've never heard this...

I'm from Los Angeles and there aren't any radio stations that will play this..

  • You're from LA too? Check out KCRW after 8:00pm on weekdays. That's where I first heard this song back in '02.

  • this is tight, pure dilla and can never go wrong with jamiroquai

  • there's another j dilla remix of this song, first time i heard this one!!

  • I used to hear this on the radio too. The DJ said it was a J.Dilla remix. Plus, Slum Village is featured (Dilla's old group). This joint is definitely a hard find.

  • I heared on radio onenight this!

  • The melody sounds very similar to Find A Way. Plus, Garth Trinidad from KCRW used to play this. I've been searching high & low for this too. Thanks to the poster!

  • Dilla did not remix this. It was by Ron Estill. Bootleggers don't do their research when putting out those 'Anthology' records.

  • ....

I checked some sites and they all said j. dilla produced this, excuse me.

  • Yeah, but dude is still biting Dilla's sound as did most producers around this time

  • Dilla is great but there is others that came before him. This sounds smooth like a pete rock beat. This sounds more pete rock than dilla in my opinion. Dilla style in my opinion is combination of RZA and Pete Rock. I love Dilla but I will always be a more of a Pete Rock fan.

  • pete rock said j dilla is the only other producer who kept it real like him. if dilla made this beat, it sounds like him, not pete rock. dilla isnt one dimensional

  • True that there were others before him BUT Dilla is his own entity. He's unique in the way he flipped sounds and samples. I disagree that Dilla is like RZA and Pete Rock. I respect your comment though that you like Pete Rock because he's dope and one of the best no doubt but I'm more into Dilla because he's more soulful with his music.

  • I dunno the case for this specific song, but you are VERY right. There's so many songs on here that people are saying DIlla produced and he didn't. I't like they don't read the liner notes at all. But I guess you would have to BUY the album in order to read the liner notes lol. I mean I LOVE Dilla, but taking credit from other producers isn't cool...

  • I first searched on the internet if it really was produced by dilla, all those sources tolld me it was so...

  • it's quite simple actually: whenever a song is dope, so then it's produced by Dilla.

  • Pretty much ol. Again I love DIlla and he IS the best, but there are a tone of dope producers out there.

  • sure man, i agree...I said it just to relive his memory for a while.
