can i ask how can the elements or substance cool in a couple of minutes as there is nothing to absorb the heat energy; the universe is a vacuum. i have heard that some cosmetologist had there own new theory and wanted to investigate their new concept but were stopped in their tracks by being threatened with their licenses being revoked. so for me the big bang theory is just baloney.

Well it's the cosmic microwave background, I was referring to, leftovers of the big bang... which has degraded to about 3% of it's original power. Which can be photographed using a special procedure, the resulting image appears as a wall of radiation. It's the after glow.
