Archuleta voice seems too simple and familiar at first and yet so special. His pitch range is attainable but no one can perform like him.

I was thinking about his joint concert with Cook last year in Manila. The audience was singing along all his songs (even those he had yet to release like Zero Gravity) from start to end.

We can barely recognize song changes in Cook's performance because he kept singing his older songs when he was still a bartender. It was scream senselessly or be quiet.
