  • Thanks dude, that was great stuff. Tried following an expert village video to this and it was impossible because the guy was just twiddling away quite happily forgetting he was supposed to be teaching beginners on how to play this one. I didn't learn all of this one from you, but that's enough for me for now. Thanks a lot man, I really appreciate it.

  • hey what's the song you play at the end, before starting the lesson ?

    it's sound very niiiice

  • was nice,thnx ;)-

  • tune at 1.32 is the sailors hornpipe, an old english tune usually played on a penny whistle (cheap flute)

  • cool i have that guitar but it has nylon strings.

  • Hey man this is sweet

what was that you played at around 1:32?

  • This was the first piece I learned on the guitar. It was 1969. Friends thought I was a guitar affecionado. Trouble was it was the only piece I new for a year with the exception of On Top of Old Smokey. I had one guitar lesson book and didn't know how most of the songs went. One can do a lot of 'fake Spanish'. Improvising the riffs by playing variations on the Phryigian scale. Also, I use A, G, F, E chords... changing chords after exaggerated up strums.
