it is a rare point of lirical poetry ever. the true lovers will understand.the words is in controversion to the desperately drive melody.so the man is trying to convince herself and others that it is all over but is desperately NOT. to create this kind of song -to try unchain the heart.usually songs in such style has been created after some period of time to ease the feelings.but this is not the case.the heart is open and we see it beating nervously.it is a masterpiece.John Lawton FOREVER.

Great gig, great band. Support was from Woody Woodmansey's U-Boat. 'A Year Or A Day' from' Return To Fantasy ' is by far Heep's best song. Anyone agree?
