Oh yes it was. The first faire (most of the footage) was really really small. Only a handful of shops and food stands and a jousting arena. It was so nice to not have to rush to see everything.
Oh yes they do :) I discovered they were real three years ago but my mother wouldnt let me go until a year later when I was driving on my own. I love renaissance festivals and I can't get enough of them! If you find one in your area you should definately go!
