Too all of the people saying negitive things about this film. do realize that it is not about the heritage of the film, where it was fillmed or anything like that. who cares about the acting. This film is about one of the greatest stories. bottom line you should go check out some works about quantum physics and golf b 4 u write another comment about cheesy or single digit. blah. go write a blog.
I've got to admit talk about heavy handed and stuffing it (Gospel) down are throats. The epiphanies have all the freshness and depth of a 21 to 25 year old AT BEST. Nice views though. Thoroughly CHEESY.
Aside from the views at the incredible Bandon Dunes Golf Resort I see no reason to watch this garbage, and since you can see all the pictures one could ever want of Bandon online there really is no reason. Does anything have any actual substance anymore?
This looks like it may be the single worst movie ever made. Golf movies always come off as pretentious, save for "Happy Gilmore" and "Caddy Shack," but Jesus Christ! And seeing as they could not come up with one authentic sounding accent I assume the rest of the movie is just as fake.
