too right, the rtr has plastic control arms and steering rack and they break or bend really easy and they dont come with a diff locker kit

i payed 350 for a build myself then had to buy motor, speed control, radio gear and servo and battery. basically just a rolling chassis with no electronics

i have the speedy and radiogear mounted on top of the battery so the nly thing that got wet was the motor but i didnt care cause it was only a stock hpi 27 turn... 10 bux new

how much does the whole vehical cost for one of that kind..if that is an electric rc rockcrawling thing..

to put one together will run you, $235 for the kit, $120 for the speed control/ motor,

$30 for a good servo, and probably around $80 for the controller and reciever. look on ebay they have it all there.

i didnt lol, but i did have the speedy and radio gear where the battery is supposed to go and mounted the battery on the fron to give it more grip in the front, havnt had it deep enough to wreck any of the vitals but i did screw up my motor... i was using a hpi 27turn they are only $10 a motor
