  • i believe we are all very diverse people.the supremes are the reason i was able to open up and go see frank sinatra cleo laine, barbara streisand, ray charles, willie nelson, dolly, the stones doris day the iron butter fly, josh goban, micheal buble' temptations, stevie, isley, teddy, luther,my niece says but auntie you have seen all these famous people.take me to the mall to see mindless behavior.i did not want to put up with all those little screaming girls.but i took her.i tryed to get out of it cont

  • big bear why are you so harsh on mary?i grew up loving diana but she like most is not perfect and like most of us she has fucked up iam pretty sure like most she has done stuff she is not proud of .mary and florence provided the harmony and if mary could not sing believe me berry would of got rid of her.just like most people they have their favorite just like you do.it took all three to make the supremes..it does nothing to call names about something that happened 40 yers ago.

  • Don't wanna get into a fight here, but to call Mary Wilson the 'Quintessential Supreme' is just nonsense - ask the average Joe to name The Supremes and there's only one name he's gonna come up with and it ain't 'Mary Wilson'.

    D I A N A R O S S springs to mind...

  • god Cindy was gorgeous!

  • Cindy Birdsong looked so bored singing the background in "I'm Living in Shame"! They certainly pushed Diana Ross while almost ignoring her and Mary. Those two girls were so beautiful.

  • Wake up Extra2000 Diana's First Solo Release was to be "Someday We'll be Together", Heard of it?, Berry Gordy decided to Let "The Supremes" have it, so They would Split on a high note.

And how did it all turn out in 1970?, "The Supremes Number 10 Up The Ladder to the Roof

Diana Ross NUMBER 1 (One) Ain't no mountain High Enough

  • @TheReturnOfBigBear LISTEN MR. JACKASS!

Berry Gordy knew VERY WELL that the public knowing of Diane Ross involvement regarding Florence Ballard's ousting & her SELFISH TAKE NO PRISONERS AMBITION if she had the nerve of releasing "Someday We'll Be Together" from her as a "solo" after abandoning THE SUPREMES it would had sounded so HYPOCRITICAL that would have tank in the charts just like "Reach Out & Touch" did!

HER SECOND & THIRD ALBUMS (Everything is Everything & Surrender) WERE FLOPS!

  • Diana kills it..

  • Diana Ross Forgotten?, Where does that put Mary Wilson?, Dead & Burried?, That Old Pig makes a Living running around with Fake Marvelettes & Vandellas, singing for Crack & a Free Meal

  • Bigfatassbear....your the only Howling Idiot On this Site.Call your fat Ontario Hogs to the Cruella De Ross Feeding Troft...The Bitch Ross is Long Forgotten here....

  • Mary is the most beautiful of them all!! ABSOLUTE GLAMOUR GIRL!

  • That Boat in Idaho song is jammin' I've come back to this video clip many times just to hear it.

  • @bigbear39ca Ticket sales are SO BAD for crack head Mary that they are already discounting them! Discount Password "Jealous Has-been" (or "no talent" if using a debit card) plus its a 2 snort minimum!

  • Glamorous, but this wig she had on was always my least favorite.

  • Wow @ 1:33-1:36...such beautiful harmony

  • Diane singing "The Lady Is A Tramp"

How fitting for LOVE CHILD mother of out of wedlock daughter Rhonda Gordy with her boss Motown/Berry Gordy!

  • Kudos to Miss Ross. Wildly rich, she could have stopped touring years ago. She's given us decades of some of the best pop music the industry had to offer

  • the first lady of music the great diana ross

  • Mary Wilson is fine as hell! Whew!!!!

  • Wow what a voice! Diana was remarkable. There aren't a lot of singers that can sing so many styles of music convincingly like she could.

  • Anyone ever notice just how beautiful and effortlessy poised Mary Wilson is in every performance? I understand why Diana emerged as the lead, but I've always thought Mary was the real Looker.

  • Florence had the best figure of the group, Mary had the prettiest face & Diana had the most charisma...

  • @trw1501 I just learned that this is not Flo but Cindy. My mistake. She had an uncanny resemblance to Flo, which made it hard to tell them apart.

  • Is there a version of them doing "let's get away" with Florence? I only ask because cindy seemed to have trouble hitting that high note :L

  • @SinclairisCool, probably in the vaults...

  • oh may mary ws sooo pretty and she stood out ... just a fantastic looking women....

  • You are correct, Doolie. She is truly a fashion icon for the ages. No one can work a dress like she can. The gowns are her current tour are simply magnificent.

  • You can really see Diana's lazy left eye in this clip.

  • I'll never criticize Diana's vocals because they (especially at this time in her career) were flawless. What I do find annoying is that by now, it was truly ALL about Diana. Face it, Berry called the shots and M&C just became singing 'earrings'. I really don't like this era of the group, you can see there's no love lost here. Thank GOD the group gained 'friendship' later on with Jean, Lynda, Scherrie & Susaye who are all consummate performers.

  • They wore these gowns to a Jesse Jackson event in Chicago when they were appeaing at the Congress Theater. People almost dropped dead when they walked into the event!

  • man mary was fine back then and diana got better looking with time cus boy was she skinty

  • What has Cindy done to herself, wow she looks so glowy and amazingly gorgeous, although she always looks stunning, but here she has an added glow? xx

  • @michellesvideosuk Cindy is kind of like Suzanne de Passe... she quite obviously has African, European, and "Native American" (though even Native Americans probably came from Asia) blood in her, and she is rather pleasant looking... Mary is still the best looking... but Cindy looks great, and even Diana-in-her-close-cropped-Afro-wig looks good...

  • @shmuli9 Diana has native American blood in her too.

  • Florence was accepting of the whole deal until her ONE solo got cut from the show. As Mary said on 20/20--"Diane has to have it all!!"

  • This isn't a jab at Diana but i found it funny how she said " and i don't bother with folks that i hate" and turned around to Mary at 2.20

  • @SinclairisCool that was just part of the gag . . . .

  • @paul51

    Oh right. . .

  • I love Cindy's figure here!

  • @SinclairisCool Yes, Miss Cindy was working that gown with her figure!!

  • @paul51

    I know! i love it!

  • Flo is not in this one?

  • @TheKeeya22 No, this was 1969 . . . Miss Flo left the group in 1967.

  • Diana is so thin here, she's fantastic.

Look how her dress hangs over her body just like it would on a fashion model.

The other two look matronly with their gigantic breasts and thick hips.

  • @doolie50

the other two are Mary Wilson and Cindy Birdsong. I think they look fabulous.

  • @doolie50 Oh yeah, gigantic breasts and shapely hips are a real detriment on a woman. Get real!

  • @Drillin4Oil

They are when you look from a fashion point of view, as I said Diana was special here as she looked like a fashion drawing.

She also went on to become a delight for fashion designers, she is unrivalled in her capacity to bring a dress to life.

Her walk, her little movements and ,in later years , her ability to move fluidly in long trains.

She's just a beautiful, elegant woman.

Even now when she has thickened out with age she knows how to work a gown, that's for sure.

  • @doolie50 No one could work a gown like Diana that's true, but you have to give the other two girls their props as well. What Diana lacks in the breast department she certainly makes up for with uterus obviously.

  • LOL carolinaguy, I thought the same thing about Mary. Im sure she didnt appreciate when Diana put her hand in front of her face here either, and the camera had to go up to avoid it. Cindy said at first she couldnt believe Diana was doing it on purpose but then she sadly realized she was! But at least the end was near and they could become a true group again with Jean.

  • Love the wigs and the dresses on all three ladies and this performance is very nice as well.

  • ITS AMAZING THAT EVEN TO THIS DAY YOU HAVE THREE DIFFERENT FACTIONS OF SUPREMES FANS. THE FLO FANS THE MARY FANS AND THE DIANA FANS. AND THEY NEVER SEEM TO GET ALONG.

  • @TheCounslor Ain't DAT the truth . . . why can't we all just get along?

  • man screw wat blogshag is talkin about. cindy looks DAMN good. thick in rite places....shes hot! unlike that figureless diana ross, who is built up like a ten year old boy!

  • how tall was diana ross she looks taller than them all I kow flo was tall why does it matter idk just wondering

  • @1990soulman I think that Diana is 5'5". I know that Mary is 5'4". Flo was 5'8", Cindy is 5'7". Jean is 5'10" (and towered over, both, Cindy amd Mary). THink. I could be wrong. The heels on Diana's shoes may be higher than on Mary and Cindy. Once again, I, may, be wrong.

  • @hazelman I used to receive a Supremes newsletter "back in the day" which stated that Florence was 5'7", Diana 5'5 1/2", and Mary 5'5" so hazelman, you're pretty much on the money with your observations. I remember seeing the first pic of Jean with the Supremes (the Farewell performance) and I thought, "Wow, that girl is tall!" Jean was, in my opinion, an ideal replacement.

  • @1990soulman supposedly Diana is only 5'4" tall. That's quite short. She didn't look that short when I saw her in person (1995's taping of "I Will Survive")

  • @SpazChat Why do you think she wears those horrid hair extensions and high heels?

To compensate for her "MIDGET SYNDROME"

  • I love the way mary got the " let's get this crap over with" persona. Even by this time, Cindy was sick of Ross.

  • Diana may get most of the spotlight, but Mary (and Cindy too) still manage to stand out!

  • i like diana with short hair.looks good on her

  • Did anyone notice at all that the second verse of "livin in shame" was totally missed?!?! You know....the one that goes "in a college town, away from home a new identity I found". I wonder if it was Miss Ross who screwed up, or maybe they were just trying to "cut it short" due to time constraints. In any case, Mary and Cindy just went along and made it all look smooth and professional. Only someone who knows the song well would notice. All in all, an enjoyable performance from DMC

  • Cindy is lookin FAB!!!

  • lol and so do mary and cindy on "im living in shame"

  • you can tell diana is bored of the whole supremes as a group thing

  • Love those dresses! GLAAAAAMOUUUR!!! But I've never been crazy about that hairdo Diana had. She was too adorable for such a sloppy hairstyle. Give me that big beautiful twinkling eye under that slick sideways bang any day!!!

  • I agree, they could have skipped the short afro thing on Diana. I think management suggested she wear it, cause around this time they were getting complaints about acting or sounding too white, whatever that means.

  • @BlogShag That's exactly why you see them in afro hair in some clips. Complaints of sounding too white and looking too white. Uhhh, what are they supposed to be wearing.. clothes from Nigeria?? And what does sounding too white mean?? I don't get it. People in the south are as white as can be and they talk "black"

  • Diana Ross and The Supremes were the groundbreaking show business phenomonon of their day. The way they crossed over to appeal to all ages and their ability to perform so many styles of material were an amazing acheivement.

  • @9ballguy , Yes, it's not easy to do. Diana's versatility was a difficult study. She obviously worked very hard, when you consider how she sounded during their first recordings.

  • I must say that at this stage Cindy was the finest one - she got kind of heavy later but she looked great here.

  • Her voice is rich-sounding, so pure and simply amazing!

  • It's amazing Ross makes it through this: her voice is really shot as you can hear at times (and in the opening number, where she really sounds thin). A lot of her talent is sheer willpower.

  • Branner get a grip she commands it as she always did... her voice is diverse and in her early days she had a sexy raspy sound that OBVIOUSLY SOLD dick head...

  • @Branner What the hell are you talking about? She sounds flawless. This is when she was at the height of her career.

  • You guyz get so psychological about it all, as if it's a clip being studied as part of a course thesis. It's a 1969 TV show cli;. They were great. Enjoy it and them from what they were, and are. DMC probably haven't studied these clips, or brooded on their times as Supremes, as much as some of you are doing here since, likely, 1970. Instead of remembering Flo for what she DID accomplish through becoming a Supreme, she ends up being always remembered for the way she ended - not fair to her.

  • @italoman9 Maybe they should. perhaps the record industry wouldn't be in such a slump as it is now.

  • These women being Black, beautiful, and so successful at that time was a big uplift to the African-American community! They had crossover appeal and undeniable beauty and the charm that only Black women possess!

    A true class act!

  • my godness mary was most beautiful she stood out

  • I agree. God has also blessed Mary with a beautiful spirit to go with it.

  • Cindy wasnt a bad singer she just didnt mesh harmonically like FLO could. But remember: FLO, MARY, and DIANE were KIDS together and GREW to be the Supremes.

DIANA used to fight for father's attention with her own sister and felt that her father loved her sister more.

This same fight for attention lasted all her life. The way she slept and crossed whoever she felt was a threat to HER

finding the limelight--including FLO and MARY--glory hogging her way to the top is more than tragic

  • ctownrock----your comment is nothing but BULLSHIT!!

  • Crut5,in a few words FK U, AZZ.

  • @simin621 . Mary for the most part has always sounded terrible. That's why she's never been able to get a record contract as a solo artist. None of these four women's voices were anything alike

  • "I need 5 bux" haha

  • i didnt mean thick like fat i mean she had a mice body curves~~~

  • cindy was thick as hell!!!

  • That's what you called STACKED!!!! SEXY!!!

  • OMG!!What a class act,i cant stop replaying it,lol.Dianas voice is so powerful on THE LADY IS A TRAMP!!Shes lost some of that clarity & crispness in her voice over the years!

  • She seems to have lost all of the clarity and crispness and wonderful high tones.

  • @iluvrachellef , Yes and that's what's tragic, Most of her USA fans remember and cherish that clarity and crispness. She seemed to lose that in 1976

  • Its bad that they named them Diana Ross and the Supremes i mean i love diana but without flo the band would have never started rip Flo Pop R&B Soul superstar!

  • This is a classic Supremes performance.

They sound great in all the tunes but I was particularly touched by the harmonies in I'm Living In Shame. Diana Ross, of course, was superb as always, but Mary Wilson has a stage presence that very few performers have. That girl was born to be on stage. I catched myself looking her way constantly. Wow!

And, of course, there's nothing wrong with Cindy Birdsong...she shines like she have some kind of inner light. In short, a great combination!

  • Wonderful performance! Diana did an excellent job! This is really a showcase of the soon to come solo career of Diana Ross!

  • I love me some Diana, but she phoned in this performance. Rough night, or just bored? These girls had no idea that 40 years later we'd be able to see (and critique) their performances on the Internet.

  • Diana Ross has such a lovely sweet voice. No one can sing like that. I wish i could sing like Diana Ross.

  • Why wouldn't they let the other girls talk!!!

  • Mary did talk when she asked about California. But It wouldn't hurt for them to talk more but clearly this part of the group years were to get Diane Moving a soloist.

  • @dutico because it's not what the script called for. Around this time and much earlier than this Diana was doing most of the talking as part of the push to launch her eventual solo career. And with the recordings and live performances Mary, Flo's and Cindy's microphones were turned down to ensure their voices would not drown out Diana's, meanwhile Diana's was turned up. This is always something that bothered me, cause it upset the wonderful harmonic balance they used to have.

  • i cant believe at the end of the performance they truly made mary and cindy leave off the stage like they aint shit....i mean i get the fact it was about diana but god damn.....we was here to lol.....

  • agree!

  • it just didn't make any sense to dismiss Cindy and Mary. both had flava of their own, not every thing had to be built around Diana's sophisticated approach to black entertainment. pearl baily soul was a big sucess during these years and Cindy could have shown anything that Raquel Welche had to show and then some, but Diana wanted it all and thru Berry got it !!

  • When it is your money on the line, trust....you are going to be very careful who you invest in. People talk as if it were a sure thing no matter who he invested in. Do you really think he would have neglected the others if he TRULY KNEW he could make a fortune? Get real people? The man knew Diana would be a money maker. He saw dollar signs in her unique approach to capture a wider audience than the others.

  • Comment removed

  • There was no need to sit them down to do that. DUH....If they had any sense they would have known that from the group being renamed and from the fact that it seemed that in most interviews she was the focus. duh duh duh. Did they need a newsflash!?!? Each would have wanted to then prepare for the inevitable and use the Supremes as a stepping stone. PLAY YOUR CARDS! Instead, they chose to whine and act like someone was holding them by the balls. It is what it is.

  • Comment removed

  • Sure....If given the opportunity....I wonder if the others would have done any different.....lol. Yeah right.

  • I agree with you. I think if Diane and Berry went to Flo and Mary of the plans, things would have been different. Diana could have still be groomed as the solo to be act without having Mary and Flo be stepped on. Mary and especially Flo could have had one song per every two album. It would not have hurt. Anyway, heartandsoul22 I like your approach and I totally get what you are saying. Don't focus on the disrespected negatives of others.

  • diana's own father felt they should have

picked her sister babara to sing in the group.not that she had the talent that Diana had but she had a group attitude which he stated diana did not she was all for herself even back then.Flo and Mary had a group menatlity and did not mind Di being the lead singer it was the way Barry signaled her out and the way she acted. towards them snubbing them

  • Flo had a group mentality as long as sher thought she'sd be the lead and prominent personality. When that changed so did the group philosophy. She also had a huge ego. EVERY performer does. She once told Diana she was "no lead singer". Well Diana became THE lead and eclisped her; result, envy, jealousy, drink and expulsion. Diana did do some terrible things but Flo ain't innocent.

  • Flo stated that she nor Mary minded if Diana sang lead if it was going to get them to where they wanted to go.The slights fueled by Bg broke down the group.Diana was not and still aint humble.

  • OH PLEASE.

go away you waste of skin. leave Florence alone. all she wanted was to be apart of a group. DR wanted to be famous, and did what ever it took to get the spot light. she even admits that.

  • Three young girls in an exciting time in their lives. I can assure you...They all wanted the spotlight. I can bet if Flo was given lead, she would have had no problem. Same with Mary. Bottom line. Neither of them had the final word. Lets get real. Music is business. You people act as if Diana was the boss in those days. She merely did what she was supposed to do and asked to do and kept her eye on the prize like any smart woman would do.

  • @LANORDA9 Exactly, artists during that time did what they were told to do whether they liked it or not. It is unfortunate that allot of talent was pushed to the wayside as a result. But it is what it is and we have the legacy that we have as a result. That does not mean that it is bad, again, it is what it is. Thank you for bringing out your point.

  • @LANORDA9 Diane the benefit of the doubt? It's your prerogative, but history is made and facts are undeniable. Diane from day one set her eye on the adulterer trajectory, by getting inside the pants of Motown "boss" Berry Gordy, having their "LOVE CHILD" Rhonnda assured her the indirect control of the group and at times the label for personal gain! She's a self serving viper at best, those are not the qualities of smartness, much less every woman, just opportunistic users!

  • @TWTR4EVER Oh puhleeez. Shut up, you jealous cunt. You can say the same or similar things about Pink, and especially Madonna. There are many others that left their cohorts behind to ascend to the top where they should be

  • @SpazChat Jealous of Diane"BACKSTABBING" Ross???

    You're kidding, are you?

    Disgust, more like it!

Diane is the only OPPORTUNISTIC SELF SERVING, CONNING, MANIPULATIVE street rag that managed to survive publicly her transgressions within her own group THE SUPREMES & RECORD LABEL MOTOWN/BERRY (Her lover father of their LOVE CHILD Rhonnda Gordy) and that's because she gave SEXUAL FAVORS TO THE HIM!

Do you think Diane put out?????

    I bet you don't , don't you?

    LOL...LOL...

  • @TWTR4EVER

She may have well have been all the things that you call her but she was an ambitious woman.

And still is, look at the reviews for her current tour , she's where she is at her age, an American Icon.

Mary, by contrast, is followed by a handful of obsessives and can't even fill the cabaret bars she hollers and screechs at , done up in the most fantastically awful machine washable polyester gowns.

It breaks your heart to see her stricken so low, really it does.

  • @doolie50 Regarding Diane, REALITY CHECK!

In 2010/2011 she tours with THE SUPREMES REVIVAL TOUR presented at THE OLDIES REVIVAL VENUES, in South Florida when she once packed ARENAS for two nights individually in PALM BEACH, FT. LAUDERDALE & MIAMI she was booked for ONE NIGHT at "Hard Rock Live" a Seminole Indian gambling hall capacity 5600, she's an AMERICAN TRAVESTY. (almost TRANSVESTITE)

Diane Ross A K-MART FASHIONISTA TACO BELL GORDITA SUPREME!

    OINK OINK!

  • @TWTR4EVER

you need to check her post RTL career , particularly in the world outside of the US.

She has played massive arenas all over the world, most recently in Holland to over 30,000 each night on 16 and 17 of October 2009 and madly successful tours in 2004,5,7,8 and endless dates in the US .

OK, she is playing smaller venues in her own country, but she is still a worldwide superstar and her status was confirmed by her Kennedy Center Award.

She is an inspiration to millions around the world

  • @TWTR4EVER

And please stop being a loser, no-one normal is remotely interested in the other Supremes.

That's why Fat Mary will be playing to audiences of 650, even though she's bringing the Chi-lites with her on her UK tour.

NO_ONE IN THEIR RIGHT MIND IS INTERESTED IN WHAT DIANA ROSS DID NEARLY 50YEARS AGO>

And no-one is interested in Mary Wilson.

    She's a grotesque.

  • @doolie50 DELUSIONAL you are!

What Diane has done is WHAT SHE IS TODAY!

A MANIPULATIVE, SELF SERVING, BACKSTABBING, CONNING, BETRAYING USER!

Regarding MARY WILSON "no-one's" ARE MANY as she continues to tour and her "The Supremes Gowns Tour" is receive in museums and art venues were Diane alone will never be, she's more THRIFT SHOP!

    A MEXICAN TAMALE poorly wrapped!

  • @TWTR4EVER

Are you under medical supervision or what?

You think Mary Wilson is more relevant than Diana Ross, if you're not already securely tied you should be as you are clearly not right in the head.

Anyway, I'm not about to start arguing with someone not in possession of their wits so don't bother replying.

  • @doolie50 Medical supervision?

    You should be institutionalized!

You like Diane "backstabbing" Ross suffer from DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR!

Furthermore, is already established that "Diane" from The Brewster Projects of Detroit- Michigan who for 40 years ran as far as possible from THE SUPREMES (her only LEGACY) in 2010/2011 tours with

THE SUPREMES REVIVAL TOUR booked at THE OLDIES REVIVAL VENUES! ("Hard Rock Live" in Hollywood Florida, Indian Gambling Hall capacity 5600)

    Bette Davis.....What a dump!

  • @TWTR4EVER At least she fucked the right people. What has your skank twat been on lately?. Never mind. I don't want to know. I don't care what you say about Miss Ross. Only losers like yourself talk shit about D.Ross. And get over it, Diana was wildly talented vocally

  • @SpazChat What would you know about talent?

By accrediting Diane it doesn't say much!

In the other hand your language and vocabulary say much about you!

You talk about Losers, empowered ignorant!

Diane has the vocal talent of DISCO DUCK, TINY TIM, TOPO GIGIO and ALVIN & THE CHIPMUNKS,

Billboard Pop Chart singing stars like her!

....Look Mom I got me a toothless! ..Lol

  • @TWTR4EVER You are exactly correct! Diane had a "novelty" voice and that is what Berry assumed they buying back in the sixties. It had nothing to do w ith talent when you consider the enormous amount of time in spoon feeding the songs and the exorbitant recording costs to get the right take from Diane Ross!

  • @DetroitLives313 Anyone that knows the art of singing can clearly identify a Diane's performance that under no certain terms will go over without BACKGROUND VOCALS to piggy ride her over every note she can hit, camouflage her harmonizing, there's a;lways "looping," for those ignorant to the tricks of the trade this is a pre recorded track of orchestration sometimes her own studio SYNTHESIZE vocals in certain parts of the song to make her sound good!

    MEDIOCRE VOICE AT BEST!

  • @TWTR4EVER And unlike me, back then you never heard her sing live, so what the hell would your skank ass know? She sounded better live than she sounds on her records, so there. There isn't anyone I can say that about today. Just cause you don't like her voice, doesn't mean she wasn't a talented singer. I can name many singers I don't like, but I realize they have singing talent. You're nuts.

  • @SpazChat I've been hearing Diane sing live performances since before they became "Diane Ross & The Supremes" while Florence was still with the group and Diane is always been what we call in the industry "THE QUEEN OF LOOPING" if you don't know what that means look it up!

  • @TWTR4EVER Then why do you talk so much shit about her? If you paid to see her, you must like something about her performances hypocrite.

  • @SpazChat >>>>FYI

I pay and like THE SUPREMES, Diane is merely 1 of 8 SUPREMES and surely not the most talented!

  • @SpazChat The talk you call shit are facts, not pleasant ones but the truth if you can't handle the truth I believe HYPOCRITE fits you much better!

FYI she's a great entertainer her vocals are not the best THE SUPREMES had to offer!

  • @TWTR4EVER Her vocals are not the best The Supremes had to offer??? What are you smoking? Her lead voice was on 6 consecutive number one hits, recorded, live, or otherwise and 12 when she left The Supremes, and 100 million records sold to her credit, in addition to numerous world wide sold out concerts. How do Mary, Cindy, Jean, Lynda, Scherie compare to that? Please.

  • @SpazChat >>>FYI

    You forgot Susaye Green!

Your statistic are correct, nonetheless on vocal pitch and range Diane was not the best!

    Showman, she is!

    A VOICE she's not!

  • @TWTR4EVER And please don't tell me that Mary's a better singer or ever was, cause I will personally come and hunt you down myself to give you a much deserved pimp slappin'! LOL!

  • @TWTR4EVER What kind of success has Mary attained with her bland ass karaoke caliber voice? If if wasn't for Diana, she wouldn't have been potting soil. Get real. She might be a better singer now, but Diana burned up the charts for over 30 years. Mary has never had a hit record on her own. Concert success yes. Records? No. I Will Survive was a hit outside the USA. The USA is shallow.

  • @TWTR4EVER And you're right. But who had more consistent hits, the pathetic post Diana MUZAK Supremes or Diana herself as a solo artist? I've heard some their recordings (PDS) please...

  • @TWTR4EVER I'm glad she got her way, I've enjoyed her music voice, movies, and presence very much. Transexual sounding low pitch voiced Mary would have been a disaster if she were promoted-- Churchy Cindy as well.

  • @SpazChat --FYI--Diane Ross "BACKSTABBED" her way to stardom!

    The Lady Supreme!

ps. Just in case you didn't get it the first time scumbag!

  • @TWTR4EVER Only 12 tix sold! NO ONE goes to The Riviera - it's unsafe haven for thugs and drug dealers (Mary can get cheap crack ) The venue is SO BAD that Mary is Following MIDGET WRESTLING and preceding a dog act & plate spinner. Imagine booking two dog acts in a row! No wonder the show room is usually closed.! Motown sued Mary to stop her from tarnishing the name Supremes with her raspy, ugly sound. She accepts crummy appointments others refused because shes bored with nothing else to do!

  • @TheMotownMoron Diane Ross "abandon" The Supremes in 1969 for a "solo" career, Mary Wilson continued The Supremes and as she told Florence Ballard, "Don't Worry, I will take care of it Flo" for 8 more years she kept The Supremes viable, today it has earned her the title of "QUINTESSENTIAL SUPREME" something Diane will never be, Diane got her glitz & fortune but the legacy? The "solo" is in question and "THE SUPREMES" legacy, she's there, but not the heart of the group, she' sin trouble!

  • @TheMotownManiac BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!

MS. MARY WILSON IN "LAS VEGAS AT THE RIVIERA HOTEL & CASINO!"

    JUNE 22, 2010 to JULY 03, 20111!

THE QUINTESSENTIAL SUPREME- The only one that was active member of the group from 1959 to 1977, eight years after Diane Ross abandon the group (1969) for her solo career!

She's a "United States Appointed Cultural Ambassador" 1 of 9 to be vested with that honor, our LADY MOTOWN will be Rocking & Jazzing the night away, join her!

  • @TWTR4EVER Dians's true first release i believe was a song called somthing like "Oobli do " or something weird and it didnt even make the top 100, Motown claimed it was just a promotional song, but it was a total flop and an officiel release.

  • @etrax2000 Regarding Diane's first release? Did you mean, "DOOBEDDOD'NDOOBE, DOOBEDOOD'NDOOBE,DOOBEDOOD'NDOO" from the "failure to launch" album "Everything Is Everything"? Because that album and the next "Surrender" were FLOPS!!!!!

  • @TWTR4EVER YES !, but you can 't tell Diana's ardent worshipers that she had less than a golden begining as a solo artist, Gordy even publicly admitted decades later, that Motown had to send people into the streets with cash money to get them to fill up the seats at her opening concerts because no one wanted to go.true she did manage to live up to his and her own exspectations; by giving no doubt fantastic shows,(of which there must be films of the new solo shows). But still ruff start 4 ms ross

  • @etrax2000 BERRY GORDY, AFTER SPLITTING "THE SUPREMES" TO SATISFY HIS "ADULTERER" MOTHER OF HIS BASTARD CHILD "RHONNDA SILBERSTEIN GORDY ROSS KENDRICKS (WTF??) DIANE ROSS" had put "all his eggs on that basket" and to the tune of nearly loosing MOTOWN to produce her film "Lady Sing The Blues" delivered her a "solo" career!

Today Diane Ross is the industry is "PERSONA NON GRATA" that's why her career gravitates in OBLIVION!

ONLY HER FLYING MONKEYS GIVE A FUCK ABOUT BER WERE ABOUTS!

    NO NEW FANS!!!!
