  • @canibusnj wow dude u really gonna come and bring that dumb shit up,WTF does that have to do with boxing and fighting...and maybe bcuz we dont look african we dont have nappy hair like african pll,do and puerto ricans and cubans do we dont,,,u think just cuz some mexicans have some ''roots'' from africa wtf.what the hell does that have to do with this.we have diffrent hair,we dont speak the same,we have are diffrent countries,we have diffrent skin tone and color,i mean whats ur fuking point???

  • @canibusnj ...what drugs are you on? latin america is latin america. there are no african roots in mexico. are you mad because one of the greatest fighters of all time isnt black? so you trying to make him black. look at chavez. hes white as white. no african in them jeans

  • @SuperJeremy25 I respect Chavez, I don't have to be mad because the GREATEST FIGHTER OF ALL TIMES IS AFRICAN AMERICAN (Sugar Ray Robinson) as well as other notable fighters!!! There are plenty of black people in Mexico (Guerrero, Acapulco etc.) and all throughout latin america but the problem is that the culture is being hidden and the people are being downtrodened and placed on the backburner except in places like Cuba and Brazil where they emprace and are proud of there African culture.

  • @canibusnj Man, this is about the sport not race and please don't use the name of the Greatest Sugar Ray Robinson in your silly arguments.

  • @SuperJeremy25 continued: How old are you? I ask because it seems like you don't know your history!!!! Africans were brought to Mexico as slaves where they mingled with the Indians and the evil Spanish. Have you ever seen a full blooded Mexican, he or she would LOOK LIKE A BLACK INDIAN! Check out a video right here on youtube called "Black Beauty In Mexico" and check out the other videos on the uploaders channel "LaMorenaReina69" PEACE!

  • @canibusnj no thanks. white people also mingled with the indians. native americans were pretty much red, not coal black....is manny pacquio african as well?

  • @SuperJeremy25 pacquiao is african descent ever heard of the original filipinos the negritos they are still aeound in the fillipines. look it up. actually i am a quarter native american my grand father is full native. native americans were real dark not red most native americans use to take black children as their own to save them from slavery whites couldnt tell the difference. they got lighter due to raping of my people by whites. all of south america and all the islands are of black descent

  • @truthinhisword haha ok buddy..trust me you can tell the difference between an african and a native american..if thats what you want to believe then go ahead

  • @SuperJeremy25 : What Do BLACK-NATIVE AMERICAN'S LOOK Like? Well, They Look Like James Brown & Pele! Btw Africa Is An Anglo-Arab Word That Has Nothing To Do With All The Autochthon Blacks That Have Always Existed Natively On All Continents For Millions Of Years! All The Str8-Haired Kind Are Simply New Blood Editions That Were Created Around 25,000 Years Ago By A Synthetic Mixing Of Animals With The Exception Of The Muxian-Stocks Of The Americas! You Won't Find What This In Any WHITE-HISTORY-LIE!

  • @truthinhisword You have to understand that these facts do not (underlined) imply that any of the above-mentioned races is “better” than the other two. These are just simply facts. In your post your argument, and I quote you, “all of South America and all the islands are of black descent,” simple goes out the window. Argentina, for instance, has proportionally more White people than the US. There, 97% are White as opposed to the US where 85% is White.

  • @truthinhisword We have covered basically the three races that exit here on earth. If we were to questions ourselves, say, what makes a White person “White?” The answer would be simple that his/her parents must be (underlined) White. No one on earth would argue against that statement. Based on what we just covered, Obama can not say he is White and be politically correct, nor can

Tiger Woods say that he is Asian, and be politically correct as their physical characteristics deny them.

  • @truthinhisword So that we can understand “ethnicity,” in Sierra Leone, a West African nation, there are many “ethnic groups” like the Aku, Bula, Sherbo peoples, to name just three. They are culturally (underlined) different but belong to the same “race,” Negroid, Black. Take the former Yugoslavia, there they have cultural differences between the Serbs and the Croatians, to name just two, but they belong to the same “race,” Caucasoid, White. Christina Aguilera is Anglo/Saxon/Latin, just White

  • @truthinhisword The difference between “race,” and “ethnicity.” There are thousand of ethnic groupsbutt we have to look as their physical characteristics (underlined), before we can determined which race that person in question belongs to, say that we look at Cameron Diaz who has the mixture of Anglo-Saxon/Latin/Native-American. According to “Parade Magazine,” she is 25% Anglo/Saxon, 50% Latin (Cuban) and 25% Native-American. She is considered White in the US based on her looks, phys. charatcs.

  • @truthinhisword If say, we mix a Negroid and a Mongoloid, we get a Tiger Woods-looking person who, in the US is classified as Black, based on his physical characteristics. The Americas were conquered by the Europeans, the Anglo-Saxons who colonized Canada and the US, although Canada was also invaded by some Latins, the French, and the Latins (French, Portuguese, Italians, Spanish and some Romanians, another group of Latins, who colonized what is now known as Latin America.

  • @truthinhisword Having mentioned “race,” it would need to be defined in order for us to understand what we want to talk about. According to Grolier Encyclopedia, “race” is defined as “A local or global human population distinguished, more or less, as a distinct group, based on genetically transmitted, physical characteristics. Thus, when you mix a Caucasoid and a Negroid, you get an Obama-looking person which in the US is classified as Black, based on his physical characteristics.

  • @truthinhisword You need to be aware of some basics first before being politically correct. There are only three races on this earth, as recognized by most scientists. They are the Caucasoid (Caucasian, White), Negroid (Back, African American, sub-Saharan African, Negro), and Mongoloid (Asian, Oriental, which includes most northern Native-Americans [those with visibly slanted eyes]), and that’s it.

  • @Unasabe yes you have a valid point in all that you say but you have to remember aswell before most races were on this planet there were only people of color mostly just black people also where the word human(meaning man of color, hue man). these "black" people ruled the entire world as you can see from the sphynx who is said is older than 10,000 years old due to water damge found also due to oldest bones uncovered. mostlikely these people had settled all over the world with evidence (next)

  • @Unasabe (continue) sorry for my rushed hand writng. the evidence of old civilization of negroid decent is proven with the sphynx and the ancient stone heads found in south america with negroid faces. most lands at one point of time were ruled by negroid "black" people before the take over by other races. example 1000 years from now if were still around people will not remember native americans inhabited america before the whites and black and other races. they may even forget about slavery.

  • @Unasabe (continue2) some may say that i am wrong that blacks only came from africa, but proof from giant carved stones and oldest bones unearthed says otherwise. i understand that noone wants to be related to "blacks" because to them its like a disgrace or a some sort of malediction. the truth is for a planet so close to the sun the people it would have produce woulde have to have pigmentation and a lot of it to survive specially seing as all land mass was one in the center of the planet..

  • @Unasabe (continue3) you are right on the three races there is no such thing as spanish race the old spaniards were negroid but then got conquered by caucasoids which are whites. caucusoids were a group of people with genetic mutation( ressessive genes) who were chased into the caucus mountains in asia by the negroids because of fear and supestition, the name caucusoid(caucasian) derives from the caucus asia mountains(russia) also known as the mother land.

  • (continue4)still to this day scientist call having pale skin blue/green eyes brlond or read hair as having ressessive genes. i am in no way saying one "color" of people is better tha the other, what im saying is maybe being related to blacks aint so bad after all. people like obama who have mixed genes are the way most of these other races got their origins.I completely understand how most people feel about blacks its like being told your related to something you consider a peice of trash but...

  • (continue5) with research and an oppen mind without ignorance most people will see that being of negroid descent is not a bad thing. the missconception is that blacks are dumb and do nothing for society. in fact some of the tech that change the world were influenced by negroids such as AC and oppen heart surgery. It seems to me the world does not want to give negroids a break for anything not even their inheritence, maybe someday people will be wiser. thanks

  • Respond to this video... im not saying there arent mixes of mexicans and africans, just like mexicans mixed with every other race as well... however they have their own history and owe nothing to the african race..some of you black power people claim africa is behind every race in the world

  • @canibusnj back to the point..sugar ray is up there, although id give it to thomas hearns

  • @SuperJeremy25 The name Tommy Hearns and Sugar Ray Robinson SHOULD NOT BE MENTION IN THE SAME SENTENCE, TRUST ME BROTHER!!!!! Now back to the subject at hand, Indians are not red , they're brown skin just like some african americans are, NO Manny Pacquiao is not african, he's asian, even though they have SOME black blood in them. I know Mexicans have their own history and african culture is a part of that history just like in Cuba, Puerto Rico, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Panama, Nicaragua etc.

  • @canibusnj lol whatever man. BLACK POWER!

  • @canibusnj you do realize that african people were black because of the climate in africa? and native americans are nothing like africans. so don't even go there

  • @SuperJeremy25 wow really? ok explain to me why are middle eastern people not black with hair like blacks since their climate is actually hotter? its not about climate its genetics. i will explain the black people are the first of man they have pigmentaton and are able to live under the sun without problems. whites are a genetic mutation not evolution like an albino thats why its called a recessive gene to have blond hair and blue eyes. im not even full black and was raised by natives.

  • @canibusnj theres not much african in them

  • @1AztecaBoxing MEXICO IS NOT BETTER..!!! WE JUST HAVE BIGGER BALLS.....

  • Era yo apenas un niño, y por culpa del Macho Camacho me quedó la imagen de que los boricuas son bien hocicones

  • Chavez had the best body punches boxings ever seen and i last remember paquioa has been ko twice and both by body punches paquioa would have been made for chavezs best punches chevez win ko by 4

  • That's how mayweathers fight

  • Camacho should have been disqualified when he fought Chavez for excessive running and holding. He was on survival mode for 12rds!

  • where can i get one of those puerto rican punching bags?

  • @hotgirl9922 lol, all around the country, carefull though, some of them like to throw haymakers with theyr head down, unless they have some training. I live in Puerto Rico but damn, most of us can't fight for shit, only throwing haymakers :D

  • Chavez whooped that Porto Ricans culo!

  • What year was this fight again?

  • a man in his 30 is still in his prime. If he hadn't shown better in this match, then he screwed himself up with whatever performance he got here

  • @paeng46 A man's age in no way indicates his prime. Meldrick Taylor was shot long before 30, as were so many other fighters. On the other hand, you have a Bernard Hopkins who was still in his prime in his early 40s.

Camacho wasn't in his prime for this fight. The "Macho Man's" best days ended with a huge shot from Edwin Rosario in the 80s. Chavez would have still beaten Camacho in his prime it seems, Hector just would have given him a bit more trouble with his old speed and movement.

  • MACHO VS CHAVEZ = MARICON.

  • que estupidos son los seres humanos

  • Hector macho man came just to run and hug chavez the whole match. He got pay for just huging him and running away kool

  • siempre iba p' lante el cabron

  • eso pasa cuando se meten con un mexicano con corazon y fuerza en lo puños!!! jajajaja

  • chavez hurt people for life with his sick body shots.

  • MAMO VERGA TODO PUERTO RICO hhahahahah

  • piche puertoriqeños jotos

  • @pollo1989oscar Racist!!

  • Just compare both Pac and Chavez in their fights.. just look at the ways they fight.. Chavez has this damn great style and quality.. the only thing that pac has is a good left hand and speed does not even have a nice boxing style runs a lot. Anyway Mexicans have the best fighter cant compare.. lets give Philipinos their time LOL

  • dont compare pac from his recent fights.. compare him to others with his right now because hes a lot different and a complete fighter now because he can use his two hands with power as well..

  • @HawxTeamDelta HES NOT A COMPLETE BOXER BECUZ HES NOT DEFENSIVE HES NOT IN OUTFIGHTER.HE KNOWS HOW TO FIGHT MORE THAN HE CAN TRULY BOX LIKE MAYWHETER OR CAMACHO.

  • Come on people! Chavez at his prime had a heart like a lion and a chin made of titanium. If the Pacman was willing to stand & trade with him,Chavez K.O in the 7th.Pacquiao had it pretty rough with Marquez,Chavez would've proved too strong vs Pacquiao

  • @SparknBluntz Also, Pac can get sloppy and/or wild sometimes and Chavez will take advantage of that. Chavez is the most disciplined fighter of the two.

  • @SparknBluntz True..though Manny likely makes it longer than 7 even standing and trading. After all, Meldrick Taylor lasted longer than that trading toe-to-toe with a much weaker chin.

You do have to consider that even though Marquez gave Pacquaio fits, he's a great counterpuncher -- which Chavez was not. Also, Chavez always had trouble against fighters with good speed. I don't for a minute think a prime Pac beats a prime Chavez, but it's no blowout either.

  • @ccrosbie33 just for your info chavez was an excellent counterpuncher. It was one of the things he did best.

  • @mrniwniw He was a good, not excellent counterpuncher. He did great in the Taylor fight, but he'd never remind anyone of Whitaker, Mayweather, Jones or even Juan Manuel Marquez in the counterpuncher department.

The funny thing is (which was pointed out a ton in his prime) is that other than his granite chin, Chavez did everything good, but not great. A good counterpuncher, good puncher, etc. It's just the combination of being good at many things that made him so great and nearly unbeatable.

  • @SparknBluntz NO. CHAVEZ FIGHTS MORE LIKE BARRERA NOT MARQUEZ. MARQUEZ IS A UNIQUE COUNTER PUNCHER

  • @SparknBluntz

PacMan is too smart to trade only.

PacMan would win the same way he beat Cotto

  • i LOVE chavez, the way he takes it to the body, those behind the elbow kidney punches, fantastic fighter

  • en esta pelea lod dos se la rifaron, asi que no veo porque se enojan tanto mexicanos como puertorriqueños

  • Pacquiao has speed, Pacquiao has power, but Pacquiao's chin is average and no where near as solid as Chavez. In their prime Chavez beats Pacquiao with a late round KO.

  • No seas imbécil "tianak68", el objetivo era partirle la madre a Camacho, no noquearlo!!! Antes de decir pendejadas, investiga primero, o al menos escucha el audio del comentarista!!

    You moron!!!

Saludos amigos!!! !!VIVA JULIO CÉSAR CHÁVEZ!!!

  • gotta give it to camacho though he took a beating and came out to fight on the 12th

  • All "boricuas"are gay. And forever will be.

    Jodidos INDIAZOS !!

Glory to the great Mexican warrior Julio Cesar !!

    Putos boricuas mamavergas !!

  • camacho sucks...

  • chavez the n1 ever.............

  • Ahah the gay have loose

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA... CAMACHO WAS HOLDING FOR HIS LIFE, GOOD THING THE REF WAS TELLING HIM TO STOP HOLDING.

  • @budfr plaster wraps......

  • me parece que esta fue la ultima pelea que mostró a cesar todavia en plenitud despues de esto decalló el mejor peleador de nuestra historia

  • I wanna see Chavez jr fight De La Hoya so he could avenge his fathers losses...C'mon De La Hoya step up....

  • Alright I'm 100% Mexican but I gotta give Camacho his props...he stood there like a man and never backed down....It takes alot of balls and determination to even step inside the ring for 12 rounds...Chaves put on a clinic that night though and the best man won....Viva Mexico...

  • @MrChiRockk DUDE, CAMACHO WAS HOLDING FOR HALF THE FIGHT, RUNNING, ETC. HE EVEN HOLD AFTER HIS HARMLESS FLURRIES. IN OTHER WORDS, THAT WAS HIS WAY OF BACKING UP.

  • Hasta la vista... macho

  • Macho is reaally not macho.

  • JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ THE BEST FIGHTER EVER.... y el macho camacho para mi ya estaba descalificado por su peinado marikon y por huir tanto jajaja. pero le supo aguantar a chavez. bien por el "macho" camacho.

  • chavez 1 of all time best this would have been close like 8 years before camacho took shot from rosario camacho became gun shy he also was always ducking pernell whitaker too i was surprised he took this fight against the great jc chavez must have been big pay day he would only fight guys he could beat like haugen or pazienza or mancini although he did fight trinidad and de la hoya and got his ass kicked i always hated camacho even though he was good at 1 time

  • how the hell did one judge give camacho 3 rounds!? You'd have to be massively biased in Camacho's favour to give him anything from this fight.

  • omg the good old times...julio cesar, simply the best...the only one that could beat him in his prime was another Mexican(de la hoya)..me encantaba cuando peleaba Julio Cesar, porke siempre iba alatake y nunca andaba abrazando como el Joto Macho Camacho...VIva Mexico!

  • 147 is the only weight Pacquaio would have beaten Chavez! Who would win between Chavez and Duran at 135??

  • @tyson55 chavez would of beaten pacquiao at any weight . The difference is that chavez fought the great whitaker and pacquiao is fighting a bunch of beaten up fighters. cotto = kod by margarito hatton= kod by mayweather.

  • Julio Cesar Chavez was one of the best pond for pound fighters of all time...I'm English, and I love Mexican fighters. A young Chavez would have stopped the pacman in six.

  • Comment removed

  • @ManlnCognito -- LOL! are you serious?! what the fuck!! chavez cant handle pacquiao's speed son! he didnt even able to knock camacho's ass down? LOL!

  • @tianak68 How the fuck do you know? You was shitting yellow when Chavez was in his prime

  • @tianak68 He handled Taylor's speed. And I think we can all agree Pacquiao is not as fast as Taylor. And please go check who Taylor was before you comment back.

  • @tianak68 -- hahaha! ive already watched camacho at his prime... and his too way far from pacquiao.. manny got speed and not only that.. he got power too... pacquiao can kill chavez and camacho all at the same time.. true!

  • @tianak68 really?? i think you're drunk man dont EVER compare the great Chavez with pac, cuz to be honest he wouldnt last Chavez not even one round. Chavez has won 107 fights until he got old, i mean pac is just around 56 or something and hes young and has lost 3 fights already. i mean c'mon

  • @nubforme41 pacman would surely kick your momy's ass.

  • @xHizukax and your mom sucks pacman cock, how you like that??:)

  • @nubforme41 thats rigt...

  • @tianak68

Chavez plan was to hurt Camacho for calling Mexican Wetbacks. He said it prior to the fight. If you followed JCC career if his opponent talk trash he was going to punish him not look for the KO. Pacman is great boxer but unfortunately he has not beat a great boxer in their prime. He struggle with Marquez and Marquez is no where near Chavez. Chavez vs Pacman in their prime Chavez wins in10 rounds KO.

  • lol i love chavez sr,but pac man would of destroy him, just like he did barrera.

  • @youngtigre305 dude chavez was beast power hitter with a good chin. Chavez was a hunter he hunts dancers like pac man. pac man wouldnt last 12 rounds with chavez. because look at chavez record 107 wins 81 ko's 6 losses 2 draws and pacman has 52 wins 3 losses and 2 draws he is no where near chavez i can probably guarantee Chavez JR will give pac man a run for his money

  • @youngtigre305 When you come up off that crack pipe we'll talk some real boxing. Pac got his ass handed to him 3 times against Marquez. HOW in the fuck do you think he would've beaten the greatest mexican champion and one of the all-time P4P greats in Julio Cesar Chavez? Kid, stick to your generation, ok. Debate whether he actually beat Marquez or not, which everybody knows he lost, before you say he'd beat a living legend. In his prime JC would brutally whip Pac.

  • @youngtigre305 ARE YOU FUCKIN CRAZY PACQUIAO WOULD GET BEATEN UNTIL THE REF STOPS THE FIGHT

  • @ManlnCognito You are damn right about that mate...

  • @ManlnCognito HELL YEAH CHAVEZ IS A LEGEND MARGARITO GETS HIS STYLE FROM THE GREAT JUILO

  • @ManlnCognito no it would have went the distance at 147 pacqauio 130 140 chavez would win

  • @ManlnCognito -- are you serious??????? wtf!!! pacquiao is too good for chavez.. chavez cant handle manny's speed boy..

  • @tianak68 wow you dont know shit about boxing.....do you who meldrick taylor is?.....he was a lot faster and stronger than paquiao....chavez knocked him out.....dont believe me?....watch the fight

  • @enigma181886 -- i dont think he's faster than pacman,, maybe you're just day dreaming boy, lets just say,,, yes,, hes maybe as fast as pacman but not as strong and as smart as pacquiao

  • @tianak68 really?....pacman is smart?.....alll pacman does is attack and maybe do some footwork around his opponent...but if you really are a pacfan then you probably know that his weakness are bodyshots...did you know that after CHAVEZ vs meldrick fight (they both were at their prime), meldrick was sent to the hospital with facial fractures, a devastated body that caused him to pee BLOOD for the next 3 days and even brain damage?....chavez is an expert at throwing punches to the body!!!

  • @enigma181886 -- maybe.. chavez is as good as cotto in body shots.. LOL! but i think cotto is a little bit more good than chavez in body shots.

  • @tianak68 ok since its obvious you just wanna make me mad.....imma stop right here.

  • @tianak68 are you a girl?

  • @enigma181886 Not just saying coz i'm filipino but honestly you could see for yourself. Pacquiao will rape both of these guys standing up. Paquaio is way faster and powerful with great rhythmic timing.

Once Pacquiao's tune is set his hand just find the mark in blinding speed and every punch is bomb with solid impact. Whether he is up against the likes of Cotto or Clottey he consistently throw 6 or more punch combo. The only one near his caliber is Duran but that was another time.

  • @ambrosiobertodazo please.....can you name 1 elite boxer paquiao has beat convincibly?.... being said elite boxer in his prime?.....we all know he lost to marquez twice..even the philipino media says so....and el terrible morales won the first fight completely dominating him and he was NOT in his prime when that happend...dont get me wrong i agree with you, pacman is an amazing boxer but dont compare him to the great JULIO CESAR CHAVEZ!!!

  • @enigma181886 It's easy to downplay a fighter by down grading his opponent. For example Chavez beat an aging Edwin Rosario and lost to Whitaker and Taylor if not for a stroke of luck.

But the best way to gauge is to compare the moves and their skills. Chavez can no where match the 7 punch combination Pacquiao casually land with accuracy to his opponents. Chavez couldn't do that even to the weaker and slower fighters of his times. Pacquiao did that to top caliber opponents making them look old.

  • @ambrosiobertodazo hehehehe.....mmmmm....you did not answer my question...like i said before....pacqiao has great accuracy and speed, but only against boxers who are in decline in their career and slower boxers...in the 2 marquez-paquiao fights marquez landed more punches than paquiao....paquiao couldt do that in lower weight clases....plus CHAVEZ fucked up meldrick taylor (who has faster handspeed, better footwork, more heart, and maybe more power)....anyways please answer my previous questions

  • @enigma181886 Just be mentally honest and look at the fighters performance in the ring. You can make arguments about their opponents but that can't be settled. Taylor and Whitaker clearly out punched Chavez.. Most of Chavez early victims are part time boxers.

You could say Cotto was past prime but that's your opinion. Everyone can see Cotto was in tip top condition against Pacquiao but he was outclassed. Marquez was Kdowned both figts and it was very close so a Pacquiao win is legitimate.

  • @ambrosiobertodazo please cotto was recently defeated by margarito...."he cheated!"...yes im aware of that but cotto was never the same after that fight...and like i said before Chavez is not flashy, or fast, but HE GOT THE JOB DONE...during Chavez prime you could put ANY other boxer at the time in their prime too, and you knew what the result was going to be...so please if you find yourself unable to answer my previous questions, just limit yourself to avoid having a pointless argument

  • @enigma181886 Cotto being not the same after Margarito is a matter of opinion. In the same way an opinion can be made on his training and performance in Pac fight which to many observers suggests an even sharper and more focused fighter.

Same thing can be said of "Chavez. He hasn't really beaten anyone of a superior class. He failed to beat Taylor save for the lucky punch and he was clearly outclassed by Whitaker. Tyrenc Ali was a nobody and Camacho isn't that good. Movement wise Pac is superior

  • @ambrosiobertodazo cotto not being the same after the fight with margarito is not a matter of opinion but fact....and about chavez vs taylor....look at both of their faces after the fight and tell me who was beating whom....taylor was winning rounds, yes, but if they had fought one or 2 more rounds, taylor could have even died in the ring...but they fought a second time in which Chavez ko'd taylor..."he's tearing me apart" were the exact words taylor told his corner during the fight

  • @enigma181886 ha ha ha ha facts are real occurrence that exist. Opinions are subjective, so saying Cotto is not the same is opinion. Well it's up to you if you insist.

Second fight with Taylor, FAct: Taylor had been through rehab for drug related problems(non arguable) Opinion: Taylor isn't the same person who out punched Chavez in the first fight. (you can have a contrary opinion but that would be inconsistent with evidence of his bad performance)

  • @ambrosiobertodazo of course taylor wasnt the same after the fight.....wanna know why?....because Chavez fucked him up so bad he had brain damage.....that is a fact (you can look that up too)....but then again can you name at least one elite boxer that paquiao beat convincibly who was not beaten by another boxer recently?...gook luck .....now do you want to make a list of the ones Chavez has beaten with those same restrictions applying?

  • @enigma181886 The claim of brain damage wasn't supported by medical evidence. That's why Richard Steel and Don King were in hot water because the public sentiment outside of the American public was that the stoppage was questionable when only 16 seconds remain to a sure Taylor win. After Chavez Taylor took in other fights before falling into drugs.

Chavez hasn't really fought anyone with top caliber skill in the same mood as Pacquiao's opponents. Moralles, ODLH, Barrera, Cotto, Hatton aren't pa

  • @ambrosiobertodazo well.....taylor did got up on his feet but when the referee aks him two times "are you ok?".....he did not answer nor reacted to the question in any way.....and even though he was still on his feet, he was technically ko'd

  • @enigma181886 The sentiment was Don King's influence on Richard Steel. After the 8th count 2 seconds left. Chavez was over 10 steps away. Before he can get into range the bell can ring. The red light warning was on yet Steel claimed he didn't know the time remaining.

But the point is that Taylor showed Chavez isn't at par in skills with elite fighters of olympic quality. Another olympian Whitaker had clearly out punched Chavez.

Pacquiao has never been clearly out punched. Morales win 1 point

  • @ambrosiobertodazo and about the boxers you mentioned that manny beat....they all lost recently to another boxer...moralles - past his prime and still managed to beat manny in the 1st fight...OSDLH - way past his prime, drained, and he didn't even trained for the fight, he was in for the money and thats it....barrera - past his prime and had just lost to marquez...cotto - had just taken a severe beating by margarito...hatton - was just ko'd by mayweather....can you think of anyone else?..

  • @enigma181886 They run into a fast beat machine in Pacquiao that's why they looked old. But they are of prime age and physic. Infact Cotto during training sessions had impressed many observers some even predicting him to be too much for Pacquiao.

But then again you can say lot of things on the opponents. Same thing with Chavez he hasn't really beaten somebody of an elite caliber in the same mood with DHL or Cotto. He lost to mediocre like Frankie Randal, his greatest win was oldie Edwin Rosari

  • @ambrosiobertodazo well yeah he lost after defending his title for 15 years...can you name another boxer that has done that?... AND her is a list of some of the big names chavez has beaten...Edwin Rosario, Jose luis,Mario Martinez, Roger mayweather, Rocky lockridge, Juan laporte, Jose luis Ramirez, Alberto de las Mercedes cortez ,Sammy Fuentes, Meldrick taylor, Lonnie smith,

  • @ManlnCognito Chavez isn't really that skilled. Olympian Whitaker and Taylor and even less regarded Randal proved that point. JC only happened to have good chin and power shots and he chase his opponents incessantly till they break down.

His legendary status was due to high win record, but that's because early in his career he was fighting below world class part time boxers.

  • @ambrosiobertodazo ...........Macho Camacho, Greg haugen, Andy holligan, Tony lopez, Giovanni parisi, David kamau, Joey gemache, Frankie randall, Ivan robinson.......

  • @enigma181886 Non of those guys are of an elite level. Ivan Robinson got popular because of his duel with Gati who was well loved but lacking in skills. Parisi was lowly regarded all the rest are forgettable guys except Laporte who was popular because of Salvador Sanchez, but that guy was 10 yrs older than Chavez.

The classy ones Mayweather, Randal, Taylor, Whitaker gave him difficult time.

Pac's opponents are legendary in themselves.

  • @ambrosiobertodazo all of the fighter i just mentioned are at elite level........and about them giving him a hard time ......maywether was ko'd twice by chavez, taylor was ko'd twice by chavez, and the only reason whitaker was a difficult opponent was because all he did was running around the ring and higging chavez whenever he got to close, that went on for each and every round!!!!

  • @enigma181886 Those fighters can be said to be good but none of them, even "Camacho has attained the level of skills and legendary status as the likes of Barrera, Moralles, Cotto and de la Joya. Even Hatton was very popular though not highly skilled. Chavez's opponents were not well known save for the olympians who aren't noted for legendary performances.
