@Revolationsz Its not a dub, its remastered. This is Dragon Ball Z Kai. Since Dragon Ball Z is SUPER FAMOUSLY known worldwide they thought: "why have great games with great HD and graphics yet when people try watch the anime itself they see some next ancient bullshit with graphics older than their nan's pixels." So they decided to remake it. Dragon Ball Z Kai is 100% Dragon Ball Z but with better 5x graphics and a bit extra Martial Art tricks in Goku's moves. :) Sorry, had to inform you bro. :)

Do you think they were smart to not do the majin buu saga or not? Some Kai fans praise the decision since they think majin buu sucks, but I actually liked the saga looking back on it in retrospect.

@DREMAN23 no fool they only reason veegta lost is because before any of them even thought of mastering the ssj transformation it drained alot of ki and stamina while they where transformed hence why they had to keep powering up and where at full power cause they couldnt go any higher or else it would of tired them out way to quick while the androids lose no stamina or ki so they had a huge advantage over them.

Another example: @ 5:39, 18 makes a comment about Goku and Vegeta says something that he didn't say in the American version. I know its just a simple change in dialogue...but to a die hard DBZ fan...it matters the world to me.

Different voice actors or not....I like the dialogue here especially when Vegeta is speaking to 18 @ 4:25 because he didn't say that shit in the "ameican" version. I find that America waters down the anime alot...cutting out curse words, middle fingers and things of that sort. They make it out to be a "cartoon" more than a rugged anime...just my opinion.

@koolkat518 Well if you watch 'History of Trunks' he gets beat up pretty bad by 17 and 18 in his own timeline. Those two were weaker then the ones from the timeline Trunks entered to warn Goku about the androids. But if Trunks got back to his own timeline it wouldn't have taken long for him to travel back into the past where he meets up with Vegeta & others. As you can see he was amazed by Vegeta's strength indicating that he was weaker then Vegeta, the same Vegeta who got defeated with ease.

@tintin2 Well the idea of what they were going for was that no matter how hard Vegeta tried he could never accomplish as much as goku. So basically, in this scene it was the idea that even though hes a super sayin and even though he should be as tough as goku is hes not so no matter how hard he trys hell never be the strongest. The reason he the creators did this is so he could have that big mental breakdown as majin vegeta in the buu saga and the finally realize hell never be as strong as goku.

Hell no. The voice acting in Kai is better by far than the original Funimation Dub.

They did do a good job at first, but a lot of the dialogue was either just plain crappy or not properly delivered.

In Kai they do a top-notch job.
