  • larry klein dumped joanie..but i knew he would...joanie is 13 years older then larry....larry now married a brazilian who is 23 years younger then joanie...

larry told me joanie was torture to live with...her mood swings...plus shes meaner then a rattle snake...a pampered egocentric former star....larry said it was living with norma desmond...

i felt his pain...larry divorced joanie....joanie is better off alone with her two favorite things...her money and her cigarettes...

  • Yeah...ignore the talent and slam the "synths". Must be some guitar player who only understands guitar, bass and drums...nothing more...could listen to that SAME stuff for decades and go on hating the color and depth that keyboards add to ANY mix. Geez, I get sick of that narrowmindedness. Joni Mitchell is simply the best. Let her experiment with anyone, any instruments, or anything she desires!

  • Hot dog, Ms.Mitchell can hit a home run in any genre. Bravo!!!

  • damn! I wish I had those teef...

  • your all so pathetic...this era was simple and light phycidellic..and thats all it was...I loved it!~

  • the 80's were not a kind era to anyone...i think the bands that thrived in the 80's were the indie bands like new order, the smiths, cocteau twins, etc.

but the plastic synth pop drivel that was getting put out was awful to my ears. and joni i guess in this period was trying to stay up to date as she was entering her early middle age....

  • The GREAT Michael Landau on guitar.

  • Yes I do I love Her. Was that the bass player that created "Man to Man"?

  • Larry Klein kinda looks like Borat here. I love his bass playing on the album from which this song appears ('Wild Things Run Fast')

  • She was looking for a hit with this album. She was soon to realize the apartheid of pop music. Once you hit a certain age, the major buying public has moved on. The period of the early 1980's saw plenty of established artists returning to a more pop sound. Even at her most banal, Joni Mitchell is more soulful and inspired than just about any other musical artist. Her next album after this one was much angrier in tone, but at least it was authentic Joni. The 80's were not her greatest period.

  • @ghanick I've always love this album, it's a great record....the ideas and playing are brilliant.....horses for courses.....

  • One word: chops.

  • Did I spot Vinnie Colaiuta on drums back there?

  • nice video

  • I knew joni had a wild rock in roll side

  • @bennbug

    FUCK are you old LMFAO

    this isnt rock and roll.

the days of Buddy Holly are over.

    but seriously thats hilarious.

cuz this is country music to my ears bascially.

  • I knew joni had a wild rock n' roll side.....

  • Not as good as Civilian's version of the same title..

  • wait wait, this song and Civilian's Street Light song have 2 different tonalities of lyrics and overall feel when it comes to the delivering properties....

  • Hey BabyGwar really is a baby, at least mentally....what a idiot. get a life you slime ball low life mother fu##r.!! You suck and your mother dresses you funny asshole.

  • i saw joni tour to promote this lp..she pulled a bit of a hissy fit when she first came out, there were too many people roamin and dancin around so she left and came back a few minutes later..the crowd booed at first, then she broke into this song and qwelled the masses..when she sang 'yes i do love ya, i really love ya' she pointed to the crowd who then cheered..music soothes the savages..joni is brilliant, my youth was enriched, thanks joni

  • She buugers up the 'bebop boys' line. Surprised they left it in. Also, at about 1.03 or so, the shot freezes on Joni and she looks like a peroxided Karen Carpenter. Spooky.

  • Besides your apparant hate for Jewish people, I can't help but notice that you pretty much dislike Joni Mitchell as well. Whether you wrote that drivel for your own satisfaction, or to inform the rest of us that she's not all what she's cracked up to be.....i dont know, and i dont care....just keep your bigotry to yourself please. This is a page for Joni-lovers only.

  • DITTO!

  • It makes my smile to see this much chemistry between Larry and Joni.

  • The song is actually called "Underneath the Streetlight" From "Wild Things Run Fast",

    an absolutely incredible CD!

  • Can anyone tell me the line up of this band other than Joni? Cheers!

  • Vinnie Colaiuta on Drums

  • Larry Klein on bass

  • Michael Landeau on Guitar

  • Different version than what we hear on 'Wild Things Run Fast', but a treasure regardless.
