@ProZmarcuroth Personally, I'd recommend the mosin nagant, it's a good quality bolt action surplus rifle that costs $100. I can get 20 rounds for $5 at my gun store, so it's very cheap to shoot considering it's a .30 cal round. if you want something super cheap, get a .22 rifle at walmart, if you buy the rounds in bulk, it's about 2 cents or less per round, but I find the mosin more fun to shoot.

the same reason for a m82 is shot near you your skin will tear off

@shmushmizher the Barret fires a .50 caliber round, this shoots a .22. A .22 will never damage anything it doesn't hit, the round doesn't have nearly enough mass and kinetic energy behind it. Besides im pretty sure a .50 cal wouldn't tear your skin off if it flew by you. There would be way more reports of this happening with the M2 instead of the M82.
