@iwin14 I recommend the uv50 by american dj. The mega bar fades with time, even though they said it would never fade. The led shadow by chauvet isn't as bright. I had two of them and was forced to return them because of their lack of brightness
probably would have saved you a bunch of money the same amount of light, possibly more if you just bought a fluorescent light fixture(mines 48 inch) that holds 2 lights in it, and 2 black light fluorescent bulbs which i found for 10 bucks a piece and the ficture for 40 bucks online....just to make it look alittle nicer or party kind, i painted the outer part black and inner part aluminum to reflect more light
I went with led black lights because of the bulb life and the minimal watts it uses (20w). All of my lighting with the exception of the american dj wave and my lasers are led. This way you don't have to worry about drawing too much power from the breaker. You can also power link all the fixtures together if you had to. Thanks for the comment
Yes, you can connect up to I think 20. DMX is a language for lighting. Meaning you can program them with a controller. you can also use dmx as a master/slave feature meaning that whatever the first unit is doing, the others in series will duplicate.

I was planning on purchasing one or two UV canons until I saw your videos now I'll probably get the mega bar uv. Most of my lights are LED. My lights that use regular halogen bulbs are WAY more brighter than most of my LED lights. I like the LED bulb life though. Do you recommend just one mega bar or would two of them do me good? I'm driving to PSSL on monday (2-23-09) and picking them up along with a couple od sunrays tri led.....
I recommend two, but I think I'd go with the cans because originally I had two, but one had leds that faded. I returned it to american dj and they sent me the uv p64 can in it's place because supposedly they discontinued the mega bar because of the very same issue. American dj warranty department are a bunch of rookies and not attentive. I had to call about 30 times to get my replacement almost 4 months later. Every time I called it was a diff. story. We sent it, it's on backorder, and so on
