i too have split from my Ex, we were together for 4 years, been almoast a year, and still i hurt, although it is getting better, been out with a couple of girls since, not the same thou, and she has found some else now, ahh !! love aint all its made out to be, PAIN !! this song helps me think of lovely holidays etc, wish things were diffrent
Esta cancion es preciosa, no tengo palabras para describir la tranquilidad que siento cuando la escucho, cada nota de la flauta me trasporta a los sueños mas bellos que tengo.
Incidentally, was this not the tune which James Galway played on "Oppourtunity Knocks" and broke him in to the Pop scene and other public appearences?
A truly beautiful song, with or without lyrics; and yes it makes me cry sometimes.
The drawings which are showed on the video are also enchanting, yet emotional too. The same cartoonist that did "The Promise" (another song which makes me cry) sung by Tracy Chapman.
Launched the career of James Galway after he played it on Oppurtunity Knocks in the 1970's.
I want it played at my wedding too. OMG when i heard this it reminded me of tess of the D'urbervilles at the end bbc version... so sad. I reccomend all to watch!!!!

Horrible; Kitsch as fetish....the song with John Denver was sappy enough but with that awful vibrato I just want to barf.
America loves corn—and the Aussies seem to love it more.
We used to have Picasso & Stavinsky; now we have the Happy Face and Kenny G......
