had mine for years and still using the first bulb. its light wieght and tuff. it does suck in brightness but i know it will always work if i get into a bit of a pickel, lol. battery life isnt very good either. i do have cheaper yet brighter lights but none fit in the pocket this good

@Begbucks im going to try out a lithium battery the next time i go out for batteries. i have been having a bit of bad luck with rechargeables in my solitaire. it seems less bright and less battery life. what are you using?
