The GS400 is a V8 and the 300 is an I6, so you GS400 would have a deeper sound to it.

you want to go cheaper the best way is buying the mufflers and either have a custom bent exhaust pipe put on or just do the mufflers for the sound

Why not? ALL Lexus engines have great performance aspects about them. Especially if you have 2JZ-GTE swapped in with a great exhaust you have the perfect Lexus
