What makes someone think that people watch a porsche engine video just to have annoying music - the music in itself isn't bad but totally inappropriate for something like this. I just can't under stand why people think they have to add music to every damn video ?????
@yuyusuck That's great. You're still at a roughly 1,000lb weight disadvantage compared to the car that this engine went into. Not to mention the 935 is a racecar that actually produced downforce compared a street legal corvette which actually produces lift at high speed. Sorry, but there's no comparison between the two. A better comparison would be an IMSA Greenwood Corvette.
@VZ935. This is a Andial built, nr 197, that was used in the March 83 that was run by Holbert in the Imsa series in the early 80's. The regulations only permitted single plug.

I have never seen a 935 twin turbo engine that was not twin plugged. Did you decide to not twin plug the motor? I have two 935s and both are twin plugged. One also has the Andial intake. My IMSA 962 is a single plug so just curious why this motor is a single

That is an extraordinary amount of power from a 3.2L engine! My 930 based engine is 3.4L stroker (3.6 crank) and makes 600rwhp at 1.3bar from a single GT4094r. My goal is 700rwhp+ at 1.3bar but to do that it will need ITBs, huge ports, huge cams and Carillo rods. How much boost pressure to hit 969 crank hp?
i have seen cars push 8000 bhp 1000 is nothing new porsche engines can easily do it, especially with his bi-turbo setup maybe he is in the first stages of testing and the engine i was speaking of was 383 ford stroker pushing a little over 1000 bhp at the crank
7 liter fords running on 103 octane with 13:1 compression, naturally aspirated pushing 1032 hp that does have to be rebuilt every 30 to 50,000 miles due to power loss but the twin turbo lsx engine running on 110 octane pushing well over 2000 hp hasn't even been broken in yet i know that Porsche has more potential
your right i dont because their are a thousand others out their just like it... and i don't know how many times i have said this but that motor can be pushed further to beyond 1000bhp
well 8000 is a top fuel dragster motor that is ONE pull and it needs a rebuild its a full bread monster that porsche engine lasts for several times longer never compare a drag race monster to a GT car
969 BHP HOWS ZAT POSSIBLE ???

Very nice job !
How much boost do you use on this engine for this output power ?
Leopopi 3 years ago
disappointed i thought it would easily top 1000 bhp i built a motor that would tear that thing to shreds
anon510 3 years ago
i'll easily hit 1000bhp. yeah man. in my corsa.

Engines that *weren't* 10 liter blown hemis running straight nitromethane?
Engines that didn't have to be rebuilt after every mile of racing?
