Does it matter if I get my nursing degree from a 4 year university or from a community college? I don't know if future employers prefer one over the other.
Omg (: im so happy for you!!! my name is erica im in college right now im 17 years old just begiining my general classses ..i really want to become a nurse im scard though i hope i can do it !
I got the same Med-Surg book as you! Our math tests are every quarter and we get two chances to pass with a 100% or the fat lady sings! I'm just entering my 2nd semester.
Thanks for the info dude. I'm about to start my AAS in RN degree as a male, this fall semester. What was the hardest thing you've done, before graduating as an RN? And can i pursue my career as an ICU Nurse after graduating with AAS in Nursing and passing my NCLEX?
Ima dude starting nursing school this aug. What should I expect. I am just starting at a community college cuz I was a dumbass and dropped outta high school back in 06. I want to be a traveling nurse. Do you know anything about that? thx 4 the vid man. peace
Dude now I confident after watch this video, Ur the only first guy who made me enter in this field , I saw only weird guys in this field , lol! Thanks allot ,
@lhsalex What up mane? negative about getting straight A's for every prerequisites but you need to get A or B's in your Bio classes like your Micro, Anatomy, Physiology, Patho and your English. All the other classes you can just pass with C's
Oh and the math takes time and practice practice and practice!!!!
hey bro cool vid man! i like people that give people like me motivation to become nurses!
i jus turned 19 and im doing my prerequisites right now for the nursing program! i just had 2 questions do you need straight a's for every prerequisite such as nutrition and medical terminology? and how hard is the math in the program? thanks bro i'll really appreciate it.
nice video. I just graduated from nursing school this past january and I am so excited that people like you post nursing blogs. please make a video about your nursing interview process and your work experience as a nurse thanks.
Nice vid, hey i just have a few months left then i'm on the RN wait list at my school!..plus i just got hired at the biggest hosp in St. Louis as a PCT...curious...did you try to work while you did clins? chow pues...
@777mendoza777 Thanks for taking the time to reply and making another informative video. I hope you dont mind, but I have additional questions. Ok, during your time in the nursing program, what did you do to build up your "nursing resume." For example, did you volunteer at hospitals, joined clubs/organizations, worked? OR do you think your overall experience at the program was enough to make you marketable (like going to clinicals, etc.) ? Any do's and don'ts advice? Thanks again bro!
@909brother Hey, I will definitely respond to your questions later today after I get back from my Nursing review classes either by video or just send you a message....
but honestly you learn so much in the program but i will let you know for sure...
Hey thanks for the video, very informative! First, CONGRATES on your completion. Did you always want to become a nurse? or how did that come about? I am actually thinking about gettting into a nursing program, I am a pre-law/business student, so thats a big change me ;P.but I know I can do it if I work for it. I also heard that there is a good outlook for males and bilinguals in this field. Thumbs UP! ;)
so did you end up passing NCLEX and did you get a job?
.. i heard its hard for ADNs to get a job now
