There is something special about people that can get these animals to trust them, I wish I was one that has this power. I watch some of these vidios about deer, but I never see anyone feeding a deer.

I always pray to make sure you don't get lime disease (from the ticks). In my area of the U.S... lime disease is a huge epidemic. But it's getting better every year. But I was wondering, have u had any tick bites or lime disease?

She sure loves that :) If she were a horse though I would recommend some fly repellent for her face, she would really like that, they must really bug her. She also looks a bit wormy. In the wild, the lives of deer are often cut short by parasite overload. But I suspect finding a parasite control that would be good for deer would be tricky.........

Some people have kept deer as pets, usually orphans. We prefer them wild. Eva is seven years old. Elle is Eva's niece - one of Rosie's daughters.

I love you guys. I'm so jealous. I have a herd of deer who hang out in my backyard every day. I SO want to pet them. There are too many neighbors that would kill them so I just can't. I live right on the county line so it's legal. I'm at the edge of the forest see. My little Cassidy (3-legged, 1-eyed old buck) stays here 24/7 and although he's still shy and keeps his distance (a couple of feet), there have been times when he wants to eat out of my hand. (I won't feed them people food though.)

it's sweet how Eva trusts you, deer are shy animals. They are afraid of humans, but if you give them love, care and respect. They'll befriend with you.

My friend Tierra has deer in her Backyard and one of her deer name sundance he's a stag go's right up to her and eats apples fro mher hand and she pets him.

Eva is so awesome!! Clearly you can tell just how much she "hates" all of that grooming ;-) She doesn't move an inch so the Mrs can brush anywhere and for as long as she wants to. I'm so jealous. It took me 3 months to fully gain the trust of my herd of 6. I was afraid to touch them because I didn't want to ruin the magic. The park has killed them all now and I have to start again with the youngsters. I've heard people around here feed them right from their hands. The suburban deer are so tame that the Metropark can walk right up to them and murder them.
