Yes, there are beautiful places in Europe. Funny you should mention the "laid back" thing, because I thought that people in Prague appeared to be very busy working, moving, always active. The contrast to people in Amsterdam (where they truly seemed to lounge and enjoy constantly) was astounding.
Of all the places I've visited, I found Prague to be the most beautiful in every way. Countryside, Architecture, people, food, everything. It is my "Dream City", topping even my birth place, Berlin.
