I killed him from there...i used the double barrell shotgun, and used your tactics.

I had all the upgrades for the shotgun...i think i got them from the indian vendor out near the renegade hideout(dont know how to describe it). I didnt need to switch from my shotguns..maybe 6 shots and he changed "phases" (i guess thats how youd say it) and strapped himself with dynamite...then used pistols and shot while running away(no quickdraw). Made this fight so much faster and easier with the upgrades

Hollister is easy! If you use your quick draw, and shoot only his head. In about 10 sec. he died. Even at 'insane' mode, i did it.

My fight with him was epic at the end. When he was at about 50% HP, I ran up to to his face with my Dual Peacemakers and quick-drawed his ass dead. However, with his dieing breath he swung his sword at me and killed me as well. Since Hollister was dead before me, the game didn't register my death so I ended up winning.. :D

@xxKLUTCH nah he just melees me and is imposible to kill as start of fight he charges me taking 50% hp in 1 shot ( norm difficulty ) and rolls from all my bullets including quick draw yet i cant roll from his lol. apparently the 360 version has many copys with him bugged and thus cannot be killed ever

@mossylls oh then use quickdraw when you have a VERY CLEAR sight of him hopefully you can get him down to 3/4 then use your rifle that should take away a fourth then use your shotgun

i can kill him really easy if you go to that same rock and stand on the snow and he is on the other side he will shoot and he cannot hit you and you can shoot him over and over again in the head with the shotgun as many times as you can until he moves

Ok this is a TIP!!! Do as many side missions dat give u gun stat as possible before you get to hollister because dats what i do and i kill him and reed with quick draw nuttin else......btw reed's armored horse is bitching get 100%!!!!!

I actually found a glitch where you can make hollister stay in one piece when he goes kamikaze. If you wait for the counter to hit 1 then blast him with the shotgun, Hollister falls back whilst the dynamite blasts forward, this mean u can then approach his corpse and get the satisfaction of blasting his head off urself

OH and me AND my buddy noticed a glitch with GUN itself. Hollister is harder (on any difficulty) the first time you play the game. Start one, then delete that game, then make a new one, and Hollister should be fine.

Yeah Hollister is hard/scary as hell. My personal strategy was drinking my ass off, running like hell while taking potshots..which is probably what I'd do in real life if that mofo was trying to kill me.... LOL

i beat the game on every difficulty, first game i ever beat on the hardest difficulty, but i still luv playin the game over and over cuz theres so many ways to complete missions and shit

Nice. try doing it on insane, it took me a whole day to get it, he can one shot kill you, and the only way i did it was i found a glitch where he would stay in one spot and constantly miss me.

I found a rock glitch with holister go to him but dont let him come to you and you can keep shooting him behind a rock and he dosent come to you but beware you can still get shot

@donaldlolwut well, hollister is quite possible, even in the first time, when he kills u with one shot, you should cover behind a rock, and shoot him with the shotgun while he turns his back on you, then cover again, it's kinda frustrating, but once u got it, he's a dead son of a bitch

@donaldlolwut i said "even in the first time", so that means that i knew that, but i think hollister is just too easy to kill if you delete and play again, it makes the game so much easier and so much boring. Also, in difficult, he kills u with a single shot, but, if u learn how to kill him, it's interesting to fight him, if he doesn't kill you with one shot, it's just too easy
