I have a Spawn comic in which Spawn meets [in a black and white world] a famous little pig man (I forget the character's name), who takes Spawn to this underground dungeon, where all the popular comic heroes and villains are locked up.
The pig guy explains it's because their creators sold them out - and it basically goes on to say how great Spawn is because McFarlane would never do that to his creation...
eh the movie was ok, todd didnt have alot of creative control over it like he wanted so they basiccaly fucked it up but hopefully the sequel will be better since todd is gonna have like 90% control over everything. just hope it comes out soon
yep, you're right. on't get me wrong, i love spawn. it was together with batman THE comic book i grew up with and i appreciate very much what mcfarlane created with the comic books. but he really changed, he doesn't really bother for the comics and his fans anymore, annpunces so many thing (spawn vs. batman comic, new spawn animated series) whicht died in production. i really hate to say that, but mcfarlane has become a dork.
You don't need a hard R to make a good movie! The Dark Knight is PG13 and is more suspenseful then anything i've seen in years, darker too! (Magic pencil trick anybody?)
Spawn should be made again for a modern audience, by somebody like Nolan who can keep it real and scary without resorting to shock and shlock.
If Todd doesn't direct the new movie and just writes and produces, I think Guillermo Del Toro(Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy 1 & 2) should direct, he would do a great job. He's good with darkness, imagery, and his movies have some of the best effects ever. I think Del Toro likes creatures and demons more than he likes people.
I do agree Bale is wrong for the part, but I did like the writing and the sleeker styling. Burton would make it too cartoonish (remember Batman Returns?)
the first batman was the best batman movie micheal keaton was the perfect batman in the nolan makes the batman movies boring too much talking watch nostalgia critic batman vs batman
@lawless130 I actually thought that the Joker was not even close to the part, he over-acted, and to me the media hyped it all up for Heath Ledger, and everyone got all excited about it specially myself, then it comes out, and I think its really lame. The writing was good and all, but the acting wasn't my bag I guess? I just didn't like it much at all. I think they need to re-cast Joker, and Batman.
oh man, I should have waited a minute more before posting my first comment, for "Hollywood came to ME." What a douchebag.
