  • If you look up glass on wikipedia it will give you a wonderful resource that shows the chemical composition of glass as well as historical reference's.

  • great music, but why did you gather so deeply on both blow pipes?

  • probably cause she has a pot furnace and maybe her opening is a little too high to see. It seemed like during the second piece she was really stretching up to dip in there. But, that's only a guess. I could be way off base.

  • Outstanding. I'm starting a glass blowing course next semester and cannot wait. Videos like these are so informative and entertaining. Thank you so much!

  • this whole presentation makes me happy. Very humble. I love learning a new art or trade. Wish this place was in PA!

  • "No matter what you do, do it with passion." Beautiful work.

  • This is Dwight A. Pettit Jr. and I in correctly stated in my comment in relation to this fine video that my family owned the Big Pine Key Glass Works. My family never owned the Big Pine Key Glass works ever and I apaolgize for this comment. We ran and operated the glass works for Mr Lester Cunningham who was the sole ownwer of this fine glass factory. The dates we were at the Big Pine Key Glass Works was from 1965-1969 and from 1973-1975 at the Sebring Glass Works in Sebring Florida. Dwight

  • This is an excellent and well pesented video. My name is Dwight A. Pettit Jr, the son of Dwight Sr, who owned and operated the only two ever known glass houses in the State Of Florida. Big Pine Key Glass Works(1967-1970), Sebring Glass Works(1972-1975). Your excellent video gave me a chance to show my family what I did with my father in Making paperweights, vases and bottles in both factories. Thank You for helping me show them how it was done. Dwight
