To the family - may God Bless you and keep you always. To my family, please remember their sweet memories. We will never forget their kind smiling faces. Keep your faith. It's so comforting knowing that God has been walking side by side with you during those very dark hours.
You have been in our thoughts and our hearts. Love and miss you all!
Fotofota, please, let us just mourn our families in peace. If you have a bone to pick with the Government, please do it some where else and not here. I speak for my family, we just want to mourn out cousins and their daughter & grandchild in peace. Let the officials do their job and thank you to the others for your condolences.
We could all cry for those that went down but we all know their spirits are in better place Its for us to fight the Dragons(king , siblings and nobles)They all deserved to be hung in gallows)They shouldn't depend, incharge,or leading someone else but their families. They should all equal to everyone as common people as of today.Their dooms should have been11/16.Selling our land to chinese is unexcusable and now buying a sea-unworthy piece of junk knowingly to save their catches from gov' funds.
everywhere i look to see the news of ashika and send messages to victims families, i tend to find a very stinking smell there! now i know it is you, mr fotofota.
i suggest you take your political crap elsewhere and leave these rooms for people who mourn.
This tragedy is no body's fault...we're all affected by the lost of our loved ones...but we Tongans should understand that God has called them to a better place...may they forever rest in His peace...we shouldn't blame this on just anyone or any people in particular or even the king himself...he didn't plan for this to happen, no body knew this would happen...we're all shocked and heart broken, but it was no one's fault.
How dumb can you be stip azzhole?Nobody's fault? The government or the leaders new it was nogod but buying it because it was cheap.None of them tried it but still proclaimed that it was sea worhty? They( king ,siblings, friends and everyone on his side should all hung for being stupid and selfish.
Call me whatever you want dude...but you're all just speaking out of anger within you guys...
if you care so much enough to blame the government and the king and his family...why don't you go and buy a ferry which is sea worthy...and you can be blamed for the goodness you've done for the Tongan nation...
if you think that blaming is gana make you feel better it certainly doesnt make us families of the deceast feel good. The boat has gone to the outer islands before and came back safely this ws jusd an unexpected tradgedy so if you would like plz let us mourn peacefully rather than having you and ur obnoxious side of view.
have u read what the crews said on the news...?..the feery was almost sink on their last voyage befor the tragedy...so u should organise yaself and look for more information rather than being conservative ayeeeeeeeeee
God doesn't exist, so it won't watch over their families. I hope they have a future of comfort and goodness. May we all find peace within eternal love. Rest in peace.
Sorry if you took my words in a bad way, sincerely. God exists. But it won't take care of us. It won't act with a supernatural power and fix things. It's the creator. The creator of Universe. But, the power to change things is inside us. It will prevent disasters like this. It will help people to rise above its fears. It's knowledge.
@8DeaD7 ...God does exist! obviously you don't know that the only peace and eternal love you will ever find...is within God's hands. If it wasn't for God...you wouldn't exist.
@lovelyhena I know what you mean. I believe in some kind of God now. I believe that it is in everything, every single thing in the Universe. I apologize as I was in a moment of my life that I was not being clear with myself.
@8DeaD7 apology accepted...it's worth believing in God because He's the only God and He lives...I know what you said was just out of anger and grief maybe...but we all go through low points in our lives, and we learn from them. God bless u:D
@8DeaD7 uhh excuse yhu Mkayy do be goin around sayin god doesnt exist!! f'reals keep sh*t to ya self kuz some sh*t shount be said mainly that!!! god exist to us so if yhu wanna say that say it to yhur self!!! nuff said!

hey mayne how easy it is fo you guys to turn yah blame to the tongan govt wen tha govt is empowered by its ppl.
Wen the Tongan communities came to Aus fo support on buyin a boat .. we all laughd!! Not coz it was a dumb idea but bcoz it wuld take them foeva to get d muny! n nw luk wot happend we gt to take kea of our ppl those livin owt in motu!!! ALL LOVE TO THOSE AFFECTED .. We all Tonqans riqht ! and right now i dont even have a king who cares about the king right now all they do is make us Tongans getting poorer and poorer by spending and wasting the people's money . Its just not worth it
Our thoughts and prayers go out to all who have perished and us as tongans who are left to mourn our loses. Ofa atu!!! God Bless my people my homeland
iiFoHaAKii - I totally agree with you. I can't help but blame the Tongan Gov't for not taking the necessary procedures to ensure the safety of every person who boarded that ferry. I know that seems like an easy cop out but to some degree the Tongan Gov't failed the Tongan people and also those foreigners who also boarded that ferry that tragic night. Personally, my 1st cousin has lost his wife, child and mother in law... there are MaNy stories similar to this - my prayers with their loved ones.
I can't help but cry for my Kingdom and for my people. I pray that God continues to comfort those who lost loved ones in this tragedy. May we all find peace within God's eternal love, 'ofa lahi atu!!!
