Kukla, I like your music, in itself. But I really can't enjoy it in this scene, knowing the extremely evocative original score (that's music, not "background sound.")
@dchiapello A totally fair and valid comment. When I did this as an exercise, we weren't allowed to watch the film or the scene, so I had no context or knowledge of it at the time. Thanks for the honest feedback, much-appreciated.
I just finished up watching "Persona" early this afternoon and it's the greatest movie Ingmar Bergman ever did. The scene in which Bibi Andersson's character Alma tells her story about how she went from suntanning naked on the beach to having sex with a man and getting pregnant while telling Elisabeth (Liv Ullman) marked the first time in a long while that I got an erection from watching a scene from a film. Best scene was the fight scene in which Ullman's smiles evilly.
Granted, it's not the most interesting clip without it's background sound to mark the passage of time a bit better. I do like the use of light and shadow in it, though. Thanks for listening to it, and for leaving feedback!
yeah, that Bergman is just a little nobody but the music is the real art here. ha ha. honestly, I don't mind the music. (you have talent) but I don't like it with this classic Bergman scene. it's interesting how different we all are and what moves us. I don't like everything either but I do have enough sense to recognize the art or talent in ones work. To dismiss Bergman is just plain naive. not trying to be mean. smiles on the good earth.
Excellent scene ruined by poorly chosen music.

Bergman movies are soul's speech.Eric comment is appropriate as a sort of "emotional review". I forgive a naif user rather than a conceited eggshell

I really love your music, but that's just about the only thing that made this clip intresting.
