The little tax we would get is outweighed by overcrowding schools, jails and hospitals, not to mention millions of relatives of legalized citizens now able to come across. L.A. County alone looses around 2 billion annually by some estimates. And I still ask, that in a flat economy, how importing poverty helps a nation in growing unemployment. The outcome you seek is similar to what Mexico already has, the very rich elite and a very poor peasant class, with no viable middle class.
