I dread to think how much they spent on this thing, but it's not even half a second quicker than stock MkV R32 DSG. So I'm guessing largely a waste of cash.

In my opinion it looks really chavvy as well, trying waaay too hard. Sort of thing you'd see down at Asda (Walmart) carpark doing doughnuts at 2am pissing people off.

Seems to be some confusion as to GTI vs R32 as well - R32 = 4wd 3.2litre V6 naturally aspirated. GTI = front wheel drive 2.0 litre turbo.

i was thinking the same thing. but i really don't think that claim was accurate. right now it's 200hp and its capable of running 6.5 seconds. my old dodge stealth twin turbo is running 5.3 at 300hp and it weighs around 800lbs more than the GTI. so that claim makes no sense at all.

You probably need to contact them directly reply the vid to see where they're located contact them on directory enquiries and ask to speak to them and see if they do body kits. its actually not gonna cost a ridiculous amount of money.. considering u do a ECU upgrade which shud boost it up to 270ps then u change the air intake all the way to the turbo changing the pipes to aluminium ones instead of plastic for colder air then u upgrade the exhaust system remove the catalyst that shud easily giv u around 360... camshafts forged internals intercooler clutch kits bring u to a whole new level

HAHAHAHA. Totally. I'd spend the money other people spend on a FWD GTi + Mods to run too much power through the front wheels and just get an AWD R32. Granted, GTi is the best FWD chassis on the market, but no matter what, there are limitations on how much you can do without torque steer/shit handling.

if its still front wheel drive then its a pointless concept. the idea of a front wheel drive car having to deal with now a monumentous 360hp AND the steering will result in catastrophic understeer, take the alfa 147 gt for example, tht car produces 250hp and clarkson said it was loopy enough, 240 is apparantly the max hp for a fwd car.

Too much power for a front wheel drive car. It would fit better a 4x4, perhaps a R32. I guess the ESP comes in too often on that or the wheels spin out of control if you turn it off. Nice effort though

360hp is not too much for fwd if you know how to control it, and 0-60 in 5.5s is conservative as always, they said gti dsg does 0-60s in 6.8s, but most people get around 6.0s flat with launch control, this car should at least do it in 4.6-5s.
